  1. Happy Birthday!!! (again)

  2. Happy Birthday!!! (again)

  3. I got a 9. Huh, would never have guessed I'd get that high, seeing as I'm so skinny. (5'11", 18 years old, ~125 lbs.) Why does this make me feel better about my weight? XD
  4. I'll have to say... Best: Loptousu Worst: Nightmare (LAAAAAAME)
  5. Thanks! I can vote now XD

  6. Akaneia -> Archanea? The Nabarl -> Navarre thing made me happy, at the very least. I've also found the conversations interesting: "We've got to get out of here, and we're doing it yesterday!" Julian seems silly now. In a good way. Although, I'm wondering how different the talking is from the EU version, because a lot of the accents or mannerisms make me think of British English...
  7. Age of consent in Japan is 13. No, really. As for attitudes about sex, that's...a very interesting topic. My Japanese teacher in school actually went on a little about this recently, apparently the people there would rather do it on a bench in a park at night than at home, which might sound downright exhibitionist if you didn't take into account that in some areas of Japan, the houses are so tightly packed that even if you manage to get your own home (with the rather expensive land costs), that kind of activity at home would bother the neighbors because the houses are that close. Interestingly, despite the common fan-service in many anime/manga, public displays of affection are frowned upon in that part of the world as well. I'm not going to call myself an expert on the Japanese, though. I mean, I've never been to Japan. I'll agree with that.
  8. That's not quite what I meant. I think they received just one group of Cells, just that 23,345 cells, and that's all they had to begin with. Something along those lines. They had that many Cells before the release, and regardless of how many reservations they got, that's all they could give out. This is just speculation on my part, though, so I'm quite open to being wrong.
  9. I uh, got the cell. It says on the back that only 23,345 of them were made, so I guess that counts as pretty limited. If anyone's curious, compared to how it looks online as a poster and all, this thing is drop dead gorgeous. I was almost literally drooling over it on the way home. Sounds shitty that not everyone who reserved it got a cell, but maybe there weren't as many cells as there were people who registered it. That wouldn't technically be cheating people out... EDIT: Er, that is to say, when I say "not as many cells as people who registered", GameStop might have received a limited quantity before they even announced the offer, and that would mean that they were SERIOUS about 'while supplies last'.
  10. Well, went to my local GameStop, got told it'd be in tomorrow. Shipping and all. They apparently get games on Tuesdays. Hah.
  11. Yeah, I'm pretty aware of that. It's next to impossible to have a clear understanding of cultural differences and the like, you can only point out that the morals vary, but not how deeply they contrast from one culture to another. It's a kind of thing that can only be opinion-based, and logic requires you to eschew opinions. Moral-based discussions in general are extremely difficult to debate, as you can't really prove someone's morality is flawed. One big reason that I can't stand religious zealots and the like is that the only thing that they can back themselves up with is "This is what God wants you to do!" or something like that. You can't ever hope to give a logical argument for that kind of thing.
