  1. I just finished the hack on hard mode, and I can positively say that it is outstanding. Hands down, the best gameplay I've ever experienced in an FE mod. Each unit I used had such an interesting suite of skills that no two felt the same. Capturing units for weapons, minding fatigue, and paying attention to PCC/skills made planning a strategy more dynamic than is typical for FE romhacks and many FE games in general. Not to mention the class system itself, which was unbelievably comprehensive and expansive. The soundtrack was quite well done too, and a joy to hear. While it's undeniable that many components of the hack were inspired by mainline FE games, they were blended in with great original ideas as well (especially in regards to the class system. I mean, a dancing manakete healer who can pick locks? Amazing). The map design was good; there were never levels that felt like a massive slog, too hard, or too easy. Consistently challenging the whole way through. The story and supports I was less enthusiastic about, but many of my issues with them ultimately stem from the narrative problems in Corrupt Theocracy. That said, I rather enjoyed a good deal of story moments (such as Kuroth's introduction and Mikey's saga). I can't wait to give this game a second playthrough! Very well done, Blademaster! A remarkable effort!
  2. Congratulations! I've been looking forward to this hack for a long time indeed. I can only imagine how much effort, care, and love went into this project. The gameplay of the demos improved with each iteration, and I'm excited to see what the fully-fledged version is capable of!
  3. Hooray! Glad to see you back up and running. I can't wait to see more!
  4. I've been enjoying this project greatly so far, but I did find one small bug: whenever I hover the cursor over Ephraim (if he hasn't taken his turn already) then his map sprite disappears. I can still move him and his sprite returns after he's done with his turn. Additionally, when I bring up the stats menu his sprite is invisible on the bottom left hand side. It's not game-breaking, but it is a little odd. I'm playing the most recent fixed growths mode patch, if it helps.
  5. Reduce the weight of all steel weapons by 2 points. It's a double edged sword (haha) in that both you and the enemy benefit, but it should help your lower con units, of which there are many. Perhaps also switch weapon ranks such that silvers now only require a B, but brave weapons need A.
  6. Isadora will now be called "I a soard." Make her a swordmaster.
  7. Have Sain be a cleric. e: whoops, just looked at the list again. Let Kent be a cleric then.
  8. This looks pretty interesting! Why not make Dart a Myrmidon or Guy a Cavalier?
  9. You'll need a healer, so try using Saul. He's (relatively) early.
  10. I swear, Conquest has you fight against Nohrian units as often as Hoshidan units. Are there any deceitful or venal officers in Hoshido whom you face in Birthright? Nope, they're all saints and 100% loyal to the royal family. For all the game's crowing about war not being black and white, there is little to show for it. The stories in Fates are just so bad it really boggles the mind.
  11. Hey, good to see you and your LPs again! I thoroughly enjoyed both your low-tier runs; what's more, you clearly devoted a great deal of effort and thought to these projects, and it shows. Well done! I hope you'll consider doing Sacred Stones next!
  12. Don't forget about Haitaka. He's pretty good; at least he has Rally Def.
  13. Lundgren is an evil man with a crescent moon shaped face. It's like IS knew he was a pretty cartoonish villain. His methods for achieving his goals are suspect, but at least he gets a great line in one of his scenes.
  14. I always found it amusing that Intelligent Systems decided to give Gonzales and Garcia (from Sacred Stones) Spanish surnames as their first names. Everyone else has given names, like Roy or Wendy or Ephraim. Hell, there was a Pablo in Sacred Stones too, now that I think about it. And Tomas from Shadow Dragon/New Mystery. They have Spanish given names, so why not Garcia? Or Gonzales?
  15. Ol' Wrys, the scrotum-faced priest. By the way, Ostia was the name of an ancient Roman port on the Italian peninsula. But it does sound identical to hostia. Nice to see a new LP from you!
  16. Nice LP! I'm looking forward to your future projects, if you choose to continue showing them here, that is. Hope to see a new thread from you soon!
  17. Cool, thanks for the clarification. I also noticed that most single weapon promoted classes (swordmaster, sniper, berserker, commander) have the 15% crit bonus while halberdiers do not. Is this intentional?
  18. I'm liking the hack so far; I'm up to Chapter 15. The maps are quite good and nicely designed, and the concept of having generic units fight alongside named characters is novel and interesting. I am also curious about the growth rates (namely to see if my Kristoph is getting screwed) and also about the support conversations. Aside from a few obvious ones, I haven't seen many. I don't know who supports with whom. Information like that would be nice. Can one also patch 3.0.2 to the already modified rom or does the rom have to be clean? Thanks.
  19. Really the MU doesn't deserve to die. Unless it's Pretzel. I mean, it's the one unit in FE that you create yourself. The only problem is that you can't control its boring personality. If you could make any character you wanted that would be more fitting for a role playing game, no? But nope. You always get the same character traits for every avatar you make. They're always so infatuated with and servile to Marth whatever you do. I guess that's why you hate Pretzel so. No matter what you do, he's still the dumbest, most uninteresting character in any Fire Emblem game.
  20. Now make a female myrmidon called Shanoa to avenge Pretzel's death. Looking forward to your next LP!
  21. Congratulations and thanks for the great LP! Do you have any plans for a future run of this game or a playthrough of a different one?
  22. I don't care how many rules you've broken, I'm just glad you've even considered using units like Ymir or Roshea. I made this kind of post before, but it bears repeating. Barlowe's Benchwarmer Brigade will rise again!
  23. Ay, dios. Ay, dios. Ay, dios. Has enloquecido por completo. La muerte de Matthis va a joder todo. Suerte.
