Blue shield units are units that have a blue shield next to them in battle. This means that they are units obtained using the my castle feature, and not actually trained by the person using them. Also, blue shield units who can be obtained through my castle can also have hacked skills that the unit wouldn't be able to obtain otherwise, i.e. aptitude. So, it's best to just ban them in general so that people are using units that they actual have trained themselves.

Also, a reminder. This tournament will have the 'check in' feature. You will need to go to the website sometime between 1:30 - 2:30PM Central Time to then hit the 'check in' button so that the website knows that you're there and that you will still be competing.

You will be placed in a bracket against other fates players. To battle them, you will send them a pm at serenes to add their friend code and discuss during the fight. Thank you all for responding! I appreciate the feedback. I do agree with some of the things you said, HerrWolfsklaue, but Magikarpador also has some good points. I think what should be done is that I could make a set of beta rules of sort, and host a challonge tournament. Here's what I'm thinking. 1. No 'Blue Shield' Units. Hey, everyone! While playing the fates online battle feature, I have been a little disappointed. There is no real organization. There are people running a muck just using the blue shield units that they get from the my castle feature, little balance or match-making based off of power or in-game chapter progression, and no real reward. I have an idea. What if, as a community, we came together somehow and made sort of a ranked battle system? We would have a set of rules, i.e., no blue shield units, such and such is skilled is deemed OP and is banned, a match-making system where two players add each other then battle, the winner moving up the ladder and the loser moving down. I have no idea how to make this or how any sort of development of this would work at all, but I think it would be very fun and awesome to put together a set of rules and develop a meta for online battles to make them more fun, organized, and neat. I apologize if something like this has already been posted on the thread; I didn't see anything else like this while browsing. Please let me know if this has already been discussed. Thank you everyone, and I hope to know back your thoughts on this!

Hello, Serenes Forest. I was wondering what skills you you recommend for my female avatar. I do not have any of the DLC maps, so please no limit breaker and etc. I am pretty sure I would like to have Gale Force as one of the skills. I would like her to finish as a Valerie and be a more supportive character. Thanks!
