What were the years you went without news of trails, and why was it so long? Personal choice?
-
Back then, only Trails in the Sky FC was localized, and only on the PSP (iirc it was 2014 or 2015).
SC, 3rd, Zero and Ao already existed but were stuck overseas. Especially Zero and Ao, whose PC versions were iirc chinese and contractually stuck there.
Suddenly, SC was announced for localization and I was happy to get back to it.
Played SC, 3rd and CS1 back when 3rd was released (my foot was broken so I pretty much just stayed home playing)
Nowadays I still have a fond place for Trails, but CS1 and CS2 didn't click on me and I'm pessimistic about CS3 onwards. I enjoyed Zero and I plan on playing Ao soon, though. Then idk how I'll recap CS1, but I don't really want to play it again.

How should games that have almost exhausted their cast be treated Heron out?
Well Herons can be used to refresh turn-exhausted characters.

Personally I think the Suikoden V castle is the best castle.

Do you remember if your avatar was ever Sinistar? I'm remembering it was...

Just so you know, you might want to unfollow me, I might be the devil. The only indication I have that I'm not the devil is that I don't deny being the devil. One time I was at work and one of my supervisors suggested I was the devil and I said it was true and she said "see at least he's honest." I don't know if following me means you lose your soul but I would figure the devil would be able to give his followers the option of not selling their souls or whatever.

"I'm just saying, when I read the Bible, I don't need the backstory on every demon Jesus casts out."
We really do, Shin Megami Tensei and Persona need more material. (Also, Garon and Takumi are pretty important characters, but I don't care that much about that.) -
Man your number is 8014 that's like 1048 scrambled up and my number is 1049.

OK congratulations clearly you can ignore people on your profile.
-
I dunno if you can ignore people on your profile, but are you willing to do an IP ban or even a MAC address ban of me for me without me breaking any further Code of Conduct violations?

I think that most or all ofĀ my coworkers at one of my two jobsĀ admire you more than they doĀ me. Not hard to do, but it wouldn't have occurred to me that they'd be aware of you until relatively recently.
Are youĀ a court reporter as in someone who sits in court transcribing things?
If you don't like me you have to tell me before I attempt to go away.
...This is SeverIan.

When Sara Valestein talks to the mercenaries from North Ambria about their homeland and how they need to fight for their families and gets emotional, she has this really husky voiceĀ and sounds very similar to a voice sometimes used by Eric Cartman in South Park. I best remember Cartman using this voiceĀ whenĀ he acts as Robert E Lee duringĀ Civil War reenactments, in which the South nearly defeats the North.
In addition, Sharon,Ā the Severing Eclipse,Ā has the best voice actor in Legend of Heroes thus far, and even if you become a bandit or side with Ouroboros, you shall always play second fiddle, never Eclipsing her, even though you long ago Eclipsed me.
-
Phew now that I see you exist here and post sometimesĀ I feel a bit replaced and a bit accompanied and a bit controlledĀ and such.

Did you come to my profile after my birthdayĀ just to gloat!? I was going to make my birthday 3/30 just to criticize you for visiting my profile on my birthday and not saying happy birthday. But changing my DoB would be another lieĀ (AFAIK).

I dunno if you actually read any of Harlan Ellison, but I remember you asking me if I had read some. I am lazily reporting to you that the book "Voyager in the Night" by CJ Cherryh may have been inspired in part by that novel. I haven't finished Voyager in the Night, and I haven't read any of Harlan Ellison's stuff.

yeah IHNMACS is a CLASSIC. it even has a game, i think i prefer the short story's bleakness though
it's going great for me, you should try some scifi visual novels as i think they'd be up your alley (infinity series, zero escape series) or some philosophy ones (subahibi, the most forbidden love in the world) since i heard you enjoyed fata morgana

Just an FYI since you seemed to enjoy Holmes for certain antisocial characteristics. I'm not much of a follower of mystery, but I think you should know of Nero Wolfe in case you haven't read him. It's been so long since I've read one that I can't recommend a particular, but I thought it was worth sending the message.
-
FYI: I got the fata morgana game. It's actually pretty good. I'm in chapter 4, when you start following giselle and michel.

I beat the game and tbh romance isn't the kind of thing that can make me weep, but the last scene with Didier before you get out of the mansion pulled tears from my eyes. All in all it was really good generally too. I still think the first scenario was kinda meh, even though I thought Nell and Mellie were well done when they appeared in chapter 7.
-
i thought the themes and how the story connected was really good, everything makes sense when you complete the game imo. but i think the first 2 doors start off slower than the rest, especially the 1st one. the story really gets good in the 4th door
if you want something superficially similar you should try umineko

But dude who are you you're ryu hayabusa tbh I've never played shinobi.

So I decided "I'm gonna get all the FP achievements" (I think the biggest thing will be getting all the cards). I went ahead and looked at how to get by the switch. And then when I was finishing the stage I realized for the first time that I could break the rocks while fighting the snake boss, and was like "cool I'll tell jedi because I don't remember him doing that."
-
(in 2 parts to make sure it'll fit). But just to be sure I went and watched the video, and realized that even though you didn't actually break the rocks in the vid, you commented that you found out later that you could. And was like "dang he knows everything." I wonder if I sort of unconsciously listened to you say that when I watched the vid earlier and it gave me the idea of doing it this time.

So I don't know if you remember but a LONG time ago I named my fafnir fantasia per your request. I recently picked up EOU2 to work on postgame, and I realized that I was using a troubador with the fantasia skills in the party, too!

Who's the person in your av. Also hope you're doing well.
