  1. Perfect, thank you very much for the speedy reply.
  2. Anybody have Corrin with Swordbreaker?
  3. [spoiler=Chapter 8 and stat shot] Yeah, but it's the benefit of hindsight. If I had taken it slower, I'm sure I would have had an easier time. Okay so Menmus did actually get a 12 in skill, but other than that was horribly mediocre for me. That Sae'rah is comparable to him (aside from HP) is enough said on that point. Cristoph was my bro throughout the playthrough, and his prayers to God were clearly answered. Andre was The Load for the first few chapters, but after promotion he got better. Rya was surprisingly useful for an archer, and I certainly didn't expect such a stellar performance from her. Sidenote, do we ever find out what's up with her eyes? Garion wanted to be like Cristoph, but unfortunately could not compare. Schwarz had skill issues and I probably should have fed the eyeball to him. Ceapana was mounted healer, and that alone made her cool. Sae'rah was getting very good level-ups, but she promoted at the start of Chapter 8 which meant she couldn't get much exp. Weiss and his tankiness saved me so many times. I love you Weiss. <3 Puledra was healer Jeigan. Cattleya was The Poison. I think Anna had it out for her, because whenever she was deployed things always seemed to go wrong. She got crit killed by one of the Luckos in Chapter 4 (a perfect kill, at that), and she seemed to suck away everybody else's good level-ups to get slightly better ones for herself. She got benched, and then Letruffe came along and was just all I wished Cattleya was and more. Biggest disappointment was definitely Menmus for me.
  4. [spoiler=Chapter 8]Well I rushed them because the dialogue seemed to imply that the waves would become progressively more difficult to the point where you would get overwhelmed, and considering the dialogue has usually been a good indicator of strategy I decided to follow it. I probably COULD have taken them down if I had waited for them to spawn instead, but because I decided to rush they spawned whilst my units were spread out in that part of the battlefield, meaning there was no way I was surviving an enemy phase with everybody alive. Still, when I do a second playthrough, I'll probably try and turtle through them (hopefully with a better Menmus...). But yeah, as I said before can't wait for the next part!
  5. Posting here to say I'm really enjoying the hack so far! I'm currently on Chapter 6, (playing with a friend watching over Skype) and I'm having a great time. The difficulty is a fair challenge which is a nice change from vanilla FE8 (I got a couple of gameovers trying to play the game like vanilla FE8), and I'm loving the story so far.
  6. Thanks for the new version! Some friends and I have been playing it to see the balance changes. I agree with the Tana nerf because she was very OP before with her high avoid and Gradivus. But something that confuses me a bit is the Erk buff. Erk used to have 25 speed at level 20, but that's been increased to 30. With Excalibur, that gives him 35 speed. It seems confusing to me because it gives him permanent 1-2 range, enough speed to double nearly everybody in the game, and he hits res (which is generally lower than def). Also it seems to make the other Sages a bit worthless.
  7. Are staffs working as intended? Recover doesn't heal all HP it seems, and Physic seems even more bugged. The first time I used it with a level 1 Artur on a Level 20 Ike it healed 5 (22 to 27) and the second time it did 0 (No Damage came up).
  8. On the note of sprites, will the battle sprites be fixed at a later date? Not as big a deal as making sure the game is fully functional, but it's quite odd to see all of the Sages having Erk's battle sprite.
  9. Okay I can't believe I didn't think of that myself. Thank you. So a friend and I have been trying to play for the last hour or so. I can seemingly play without it crashing after a period of time, which is good! But, we've encountered a few issues. First of all (and the most serious) is that our attacks don't seem to register. For instance, I tried having Tana w/ Gradivus attack my friend's Ephraim across a wall at two range. Nothing happened, and Tana ended her turn as if I had pressed wait. Then my opponent tried attacking one of my units, and the same thing happened for them. What's even weirder, as to the other one it looked as if we hadn't moved our units at all. This happened in the next two matches we tried, no matter which unit we used, they would just end their turn and to the other player it would look like they hadn't moved from their original position. Also, when we tried attacking an unarmed unit the game froze up. Finally, in the first match we had the turn counter randomly started skipping turns. At the end of Turn 5 it skipped to Turn 22, and then on the next turn it skipped to 43. At one point my friend ended up getting two turns in a row for some reason. If you need any data, I could try and collect it.
  10. This is what came up on the command prompt when the crash occurred, I was building a new team at the time.
  11. I got the 'Java is not recognized as an internal or external command etc etc' message. Well I was playing just now, but honestly I'm not doing anything special to cause the game to crash. What just happened was that the game closed whilst I was managing Tana's equipment (buying and selling weapons), but I've also had the game suddenly close twice when playing against a friend. It was on the map screen whilst we were moving units towards each other. It doesn't seem to be a specific action causing this to happen, as the game can progress for several turns before this occurs. It seems to be something that happens after a certain amount of time. For example I can buy and sell equipment just fine, but after spending too long doing so the game suddenly closes. Same thing with matches.
  12. Forgive me if any of this is not what you were looking for! Graphics card is (I think this is it?) Intel R HD, VRAM is 1696MB (1.5 Gb), and RAM is 8gb. Apologies but I didn't understand how to do what is described in your edit. Could you provide more detailed instructions if possible?
  13. Hello, I've been playing this with some friends, and after some server issues things seem to be moving. However, for me the game seems to constantly crash. I'm running Windows 7 and I'm not sure why this is. Since I can't seem to upload a log file I guess I'll just: I've only experienced crashes in Team Building and when actually playing on a map. Could you offer any insight?
