    (Just to name a few)
I'm a huge fan of Fire Emblem and Pokemon.

By the way, my name is Andre, but online you can call me Icy Hot for short. (Sounds goofy, I know. Thank my friends for that nickname.)

    My 3DS Friend Code: 3523-2195-7559
Don't forget to message me your friend code so I can add you. I'm usually on just playing Smash Bros. or Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

  1. Name changed slightly in memory of a friend.

  2. Going with the flow.

  3. If your allies NEVER die, then it's not really punishing to have another character "help" them retreat to make sure they don't die. Let's say you can even pick the character to escort them off the battlefield. Then it's a decision up to the player and still keeps them in control of the situation. I'm pretty sure it's not that easy to retreat when you're close to death.
  4. How is this punishing the player? Also, I have no hatred for the people who do play Causal. As I stated, I understand the inclusion of this feature for people who don't have an understanding of Fire Emblem like I do.
  5. Originally, I thought Casual Mode was pointless since Awakening was easy enough even on Hard Mode. I'm experienced enough to how Fire Emblem works (especially since I've played 6-13) and I find it pretty simple. Some games don't come easy to people like Fire Emblem does to me, so I totally understand the inclusion of this feature. However, I think they should include something like a drawback to balance this a bit. Maybe another character has to leave the map with the character that retreated to make sure they safely make it out. If I remember, FE7 did something similar with Pent and Louise where if one "dies" then the other will leave as well. If they keep the Pair-up Feature, then the character in the back with them will escort them off the battlefield. I don't know, just something to think about.
  6. To be honest Marth and Robin should be moved up a bit more. I mean both of them clearly killed a God. (In Robin's case, a parallel version of himself who accepted Godhood.) As of FE3/FE12, Medeus (who is a God) was stronger than Naga (the other God) and using her special sword, the Falchion, Marth killed Medeus. Robin was able to kill Grima without the use of any special weapon other than basically using his own attacks to kill Grima. If compared to Lucina or Ike, Marth and Robin are canonically stronger. Lucina with the Falchion would only be able to put Grima to sleep (if the Future Past DLC is correct) and he would be resurrected again. Ike needed a special enchanted/blessed sword AND all the power of a Half Goddess (Yune) to defeat the other Half Goddess (Ashera). He technically doesn't kill Ashera because Yune reunites with her and is reborn into the (Full) Goddess Ashunera.
  7. I would say Marth is pretty high in the Tier list like Robin. (Not exactly Shulk, but still powerful.) If I remember correctly, the Falchion in FE1 pretty much made Marth invincible to any direct damage from enemies that weren't mamkutes (I think that's what they're called). Plus, his sword can regenerate HP after every turn and was the only thing (besides Tiki) that could really do serious damage to Medeus or the Earth Dragons. Not to mention that the Shield of Seals sealed the Earth Dragons off the maps before you even began your first turn in the later maps of FE3. This also stays true to FE12. By the way, Marth never promotes and his level cap is 30. (The level cap is 20 in the original.) I think that makes him the only Lord that doesn't promote (required/forced or otherwise) to beat the Final Boss.
  8. Currently trying to find my purpose in life.

  9. Impenetrable Armor: (Command Skill) Makes unit invincible to incoming damage when used, but automatically drops unit's currently equipped weapon. If hit by a physical weapon (sword, lance, or axe), the weapon used against them automatically breaks. Can only be used once during each chapter.
  10. In Awakening, how the hell does Dual Guard work? I mean they literally jump in front of the attack and they don't take a single point of damage. I would think they should take about half the damage or something. Unless they all have invisible shields (or use the force). I wish I could stop magic or weapons with just my hands...
  11. Reading, writing, and proofreading are becoming permanent hobbies of mine.

  12. Just getting through life...

  13. 8/10 I actually enjoyed the song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQCS1Y-JMX8
  14. Umm,,,,,you dress like a boy! (Your Avatar pic) (I'm used to giving compliments so this was a bit hard for me.)
  15. *Thinks for a few minutes* Che cosa hai fatto in questi ultimi tempi? (Italian for "What have you been doing in recent times?") It's a rough translation.
