  1. I made a new mission: collecting all Fire Emblem soundtracks on CD First one just arrived: The 15 min medley of various battle and boss themes from this album is an absolute MASTERPIECE. More's on the way. Why did I even post it? Because 🔥 Emblem muziek ROCKS!
  2. Yaaay, these are great news! I already have this and Sacred Stones for Wii U, but more ports are always welcome. 🙂
  3. oooh sorry, wasn't clear enough I meant "memo" for memorizing. I guess I watched too many Touhou videos to use this abbreviation. Once this chapter is beaten once, the placement of the allies in every turn is obvious. I know it applies to pretty much most chapters, lol, unless certain units don't have the expected stats. Though in this chapter the carriers (Haar, Elincia) start with default stats.
  4. Elincia's Gambit is my favourite map of the whole series, simply because it's a defend chapter how it should be. Two entrances to protect which might not be a bad deal, but there's more like killing the boss to get the tomahawk and stealing the one or other goodie. Sure, Haar and Elincia (unless she's in range of a crossbow) can trivialize this map, and it's pretty much a memo chapter once beating it once, but it still offers its fun for me. The only downside might be that this chapter can be easily beaten before the Crimean Knights appear, so they kinda don't have a role here. Also the cutscene before the end of this part is also the BEST of the whole series (althogh the voiceacting of a few people isn't the best).
  5. Oooh nice, I ♥️the Tellius sooooo much, my favourite games of this series. Yes, mounted units are amazing in this game due to canto. I like Oscar for one reason: earth affinity Just support him with Ike to make them become almost invincible later on. The victory theme is only played twice in this game iirc (other time is in chapter six), though this track made it in the Smash series surprisingly. I mean it's a nice song but not very fitting to a brawl, if you ask me.
  6. Alear Noah Magolor Waluigi Dixie Kong Shantae Sans Cuphead Reimu Hakurei Phoenix Wright Crash Bandicot
  7. Yeah, for the representation of Blazing Sword and Sacred Stones (which I forgot to mention in my op btw) definitely one of the lords will make it. Lyn is the protagonist, but she already has a figure, so I'd hope for Eliwood. That's definitely a cutie for a plush. wooooooow, I would buy it in all seriousness🙂 Somnie instead of Alear would be a pog. I definitely can see a Sommie plush.
  8. ...of the ones who don't have one yet. I'm still a bit sad about the lack on represenation for Valentia and the Judgral series. A plush of Alm or Celica and of Sigurd or Seliph would be great. Also Micaiah deserves one since Ike mainly represents Path Of Radiance. And of course Engage should get some attention...most likely Alear will get it If I exclude lords, my most wanted plush would be Lysithea. 🙂 At least a figure of her already exists.
  9. I...have a question...somewhat related to that. Is it possible that the OP / creator of a thread isn't shown up? At least I'd have the request that my name of one certain thread has to be vanished. Is it something I could do via contacting a mod?
  10. In Blazing Sword and Sacred Stones they are quite usable, I liked to use Oswin and Gilliam. Radiant Dawn has Gatrie who has incredible bases and a great speed growth for his class, although his cap is poor. Tauroneo is decent whenever he's forced for the Dawn Brigade. Meg is underleveled at the point she joins despite having decent growths. Fates has Effie who might be the most valuable armor knight in the series for me. In Genealogy Of The Holy War and Binding Blade they pretty much don't exist, but for different reasons. Genealogy is a calvary heavy game whilst lance's accuracy is massively screwed in Binding Blade. Path Of Radiance is another calvary heavy game, but the enemies are really bad so it's not hard to train armor knights, even if it requires more time. I haven't made any real experiences in Engage since the Louis died to me. Jade was alright, but outclassed as axe user when I decided to make Rosado become an axe paladin. As for Thracia 776, there's Dalshin who's good in indoor maps at least (especially in the Manster chapters). And there's Xavier who pretty much doesn't exist for having a superhard recruitment. However if you could recruit him, he serves well, mainly thanks to his great skill he comes with. Haven't made any experiences with armor knights in the Archanea series and Gaiden / Echoes.
  11. Unfortunately Veyle was a walking target in my playthrough (on lowest difficulty). Her low speed and defense made it possible to be 1RKO's by enemies with physical weapons. She was a great finisher, but no unit I wanted to carry through the rough endgame. ...Still I couldn't resist her cuteness and so used her anyways.
  12. I'm playing my very first Mario RPG, Origami King. Whilst I'm not a fan of this hand mode for having awkward controls, I love that battle system so much. It challenges my brain to put all the enemies to a favoured spot for me. Also the overworld and music are pretty. It reminds me a lot on Bug Fables which was a really cute game.
  13. Frank West was the one I missed (the most) in Project X Zone 2. It'd be cool to see everyone returning in a third part.
  14. Pretty simple giving them more battle experience. It's heartbreaking to see when they gain one experience point in a combat. Only tanky units like Mordecai can gain a bit more experience for fighting untransformed, but even this is by far not enough. Having higher stats for being untransformed would be helpful for fighting untransformed, at least they can counterattack unlike in Path Of Radiance...which is somewhat nice at least.
  15. First of all I love having separated groups with their own story and own difficulty, but as for the difficulty, it feels weird, at least for someone whose first Fire Emblem game was Radiant Dawn. The difficulty curve is really odd, starts from being hard and turns into really easy when Ike shows up. The chapters of the Dawn Brigade were so much harder than with the Crimean Knights and Greil's mercenaries because the forced units were at best tied with the enemies's level. Even Sothe for being prepromoted and stealing experience started to suffer at the end of the first part. Though after rethinking this the chapters of the Dawn Brigade had the perfect difficulty for me. Challenging, but never unfair! Especially most of the Greil's Mercenaries outclassed the enemies.
  16. Wooooow, happy tenth birthday! Time has run so fast. This also means happy tenth birthday to my 3DS since I own the Awakening edition. It has taken the one or other scratch and lost the circle pad, but it still works! Logically Awakening was my first 3DS game, and - despite not being my favourite Fire Emblem game - I had a fun time. Again happy birthday! 🙂
  17. This forum is as deserted as Gobi. I'm going back to the void...and eventually will appear again for tenth anniversary membership. so bye bye for now
  18. oh yeah 🙂 I've pretty much the whole Kirby squad that screenshot only showed about the half of my fluffy collection also having a plush of Dimitri
  19. 2023 is pretty much over already in terms of (new) games for me. All the interesting ones for me already came out: Fire Emblem Engage Octopath Traveler II Kirby's Return To Dream Land Deluxe Trails Of Azure I'm not very excited in Trails Of Reverie from what I've read about that, so I won't buy it instantly at the very least. Still I hope for lots of good games being added to NSO, especially Judgral series and Conker's Bad Fur Day.
  20. Hi, just wanted to ask, if other people here are collecting stuff from Fire Emblem since I love seeing merchandise of other people.
  21. I beat Engage...it was fun! I guess it'll be my only life sign here for the next months. I don't even post in that other chat anymore which I even created. Already reading my name gives me creeps.
  22. Ao No Kiseki / Trails Of Azure Played this game for PSP before, but since today I can play it in English since it has been released for the west finally.
