  1. Haven't played Fire Emblems 1 - 3 (Although I want to play FE 2). Too bad I wasn't allowed to skip those options. Fire Emblem 4 is my favorite Fire Emblem of all time. Best story, amazing characters, fantastic soundtrack (my favorite one actually), realistic representation of medieval politics and it's ridiculously OP which I seem to be one of the few people in existence to actually ENJOY OP characters. I love the Holy Weapons, I prefer this game's inheritance system to Awakening's, this game had some amazing villains (Alvis and Trabant for example) and I actually like the huge maps because it gives me that feeling that I'm fighting armies in an actual country instead of a skirmish against a few people here and there. I love Fire Emblem 5's gameplay. Love the capture system, I actually enjoy the concept behind the fatigue system. I like the feeling that I'm taking control of an army that doesn't really have very many funds and is mostly comprised of thieves, villagers etc. I felt like I was fighting a well organized Empire and I enjoyed that. I guess I'm in the minority when I say that I found the story forgettable. At least it has OP Personal weapons which I enjoy.
  2. I love Julius's battle theme but I voted Ashnard for being a challenging boss to beat. (Assuming you didn't use Wrath/Resolve Ike or give Nasir skills)
  3. 1) Ike. Fantastic gameplay (Earth support + Ragnell + Aether = pwnage), is the only main character who is NOT a lord, slays a goddess, bridges the gap between laguz and beorc, leads a war against 2 powerful nations (Daein and Begnion) and defeats both. He also saves Crimea TWICE. I also attribute nostalgia points to him since PoR was my first Fire Emblem in the series and therefore he was my first Fire Emblem character that I got to experience from an actual Fire Emblem game. 2) Lucina. Best female character in the series imo. OP as crap, survives a zombie apocalypse, has a deep personality. She's not fanservicey and she's not a she-male (unlike Sully or Kjelle for example) while still being a strong female character both combat wise and personality wise. Her moments with Chrom are endearing and heartwarming and some of my favorite moments in the game. 3) Owain. The funniest character in the series hands down. I love how dramatic and over-the-top he can be. I can relate to this guy because I'm like him. I'll name my attacks or talk in an epic tone of voice simply because I can. I also feel bad for him sometimes because everyone in the army gives him so much crap that he doesn't deserve at all! His supports are hilarious and I do love how he references other games in the series. 4) Elincia. I LIKE ME SOME SEXY LADY! I LIKE ME SOME SEXY LADY! Did I mention how I like me some sexy lady? Anyway flies, heals, wields an unbreakable Brave Sword, Elincia is amazing as a unit and I love how she evolves from a helpless princess-in-hiding to a confident and powerful queen who's graceful, dignified, compassionate yet also able to make the tough decisions. She's the best beorc ruler by far and she even had the guts to lay down her weapons in RD when Begnion and Gallia are fighting just to prove that she is neutral in the conflict. That takes some major guts to pull it off and she did it like a boss. 5) Tibarn. This dude is hardcore! He takes pride in being a laguz and has a sense of honor and dignity to him. He'll take anyone on and anyone down. He's also smart, which I like about him and like all Laguz Royals he's ridiculously OP. The dude wanted to take on the Black Knight in a one-on-one situation. That's pretty awesome! 6) Aless / Sety / Shannan. I love these three for the exact same reason: THEY'RE SO INCREDIBLY OP! Aless is a black knight, Sety is the greatest sage in the series and Shannan is the greatest swordmaster. They require no effort to use, their growths are awesome and they're arguably the best characters in FE 4. That's awesome! Shannan grows up from being a little kid to the leader of a rebellion against the political juggernaut that is the Grandbell Empire, Sety led a resistance against the Grandbell Empire in the Thracian hotbed. Aless turned on the mercenaries that raised him b/c his boss messed with his girl. It's no wonder I love these guys so much. They'll defy the odds no matter what. 7) Chrom. Our second lord to receive Aether and doesn't have a story based promotion. Oh did I mention his cool character design? And his extremely manly voice? Or the fact that he also doesn't act much like a lord? Chrom is just too cool. 8) Sigurd. Arguably the most OP lord and character in the series. I also feel really bad for him since so much crap happens to him throughout the series. He loses both of his best friends, his sister, gets called a traitor by his country,is accused of crimes that he didn't commit, has his wife stolen from him before being killed by the same man who stole his wife and loses his entire army too. Oh did I mention that his father dies in his arms? Man that's sad. Sigurd was definitely a strong character to be able to pull through the kind of traumatic events that he went through. Plus he's an OP lord. What's not to love? 9) Inigo. Hilarious man-whore with a smooth voice. His supports are pretty funny and he has legitimate motivation to do what he does. He doesn't just hit on girls, he tries to break away from his shyness. He also dances a lot too and feels shy about that. He's pretty powerful gameplay wise as well and like Owain he has the woobie factor going for him since a lot of the characters in the army treat him like crap (freaking Severa and Kjelle), but yet he still remains optimistic throughout the whole thing. 10) Levin. Funny, powerful and has some depth to him. He ran away from his home to try and shut his uncles down. Only problem is that didn't work. He calls Sigurd out for his well-intention ed ruin of Augustria. Wields the amazing lolsety and even resurrects and helps Seliph bring down the Grandbell juggernaut. He also introduces the team to Julia which turns out to be uber game breaking. 11) The Black Knight / Zelgius. Favorite villain in the series. Strong enough to wipe out virtually the entire Tellius cast. Has a sense of honor and decency that I find appealing. Powerful (just to re-emphasize), a great general and leader and will give his opponents the tools they need in order to make a fair fight. I like that. 12) Ayra / Lakche / Skasaha. Amazing sword units. Ayra is awesome and hardcore and one of the best swordmasters in the series. She also has an appealing tough gal personality. Lakche and Skasaha (screw the localization names. They suck) are powerhouse units that I love using every time I play Holy War. Some of the greatest units ever (imo)! Skasaha is my favorite mercenary / hero. Lakche is one of my favorite swordmasters. 13) Cordelia 14) Henry 15) Ephraim
  4. Freaking Alvis who I don't see on this poll. That dude pisses me off like nobody else. I freaking hate him for what he did to Sigurd. I don't care if he was manipulated into doing so he still boils my blood.
  5. Fire Emblem 4 hands down. It's dark, epic, tragic and it makes the rest of the series (with 1 or 2 exceptions MAYBE) look like a children's fairy tale. It actually shares some similarities with Game of Thrones. This game, percentage wise, has the highest body count of characters in the series and I like that. The game also has the best representation of medieval politics out of the series and it has some darker elements (like the main character getting pwned and his army getting destroyed) that help the story stand out from the series.
  6. I loved the capture system of this game. That really made it for me. Plus the broken Personal weapons were pretty cool. Plus this game imo had the best balanced difficulty. It kept you on your toes and forced you to think. Personally I found the story forgettable but that's just me.
  7. Favorite lord - AH! I love most of the lords in this series, but I had to go with Ike. Ike is one of the best lords combat-wise and I do like his personality. Highlights include yelling at Sanaki and sticking up for Elincia in PoR. Plus PoR was my first entry into the series and so Ike was the first Fire Emblem character I came across. Marth from Super Smash Bros. Melee notwithstanding. Plus Aether pwns so hard. It also helps to have the broken Earth affinity. Least favorite lord - Micaiah. Micaiah's lack of speed and defense always hurt me gameplay-wise. Always felt that she was more of a liability than an asset.
  8. Lucina - My favorite female character in the series. She obliterates everything and I love her personality along with the way that she's written. Owain - FREAKING HILARIOUS! Dramatic, over-the-top and he's a powerful enough character. No matter how many times I play Awakening he never ceases to make me laugh. Inigo - Best written womanizer imo. His supports (especially with Owain) were hilarious! Chrom - Powerful lord, kind and warm. Plus is it just me or is his voice uber manly? I'm also a big fan of his character design. Plus Chrom has some funny supports and interactions (like with Female My Unit) Henry - Hilarious sociopath. Never thought I'd ever say that. Gregor - Dat Russian accent. Plus when he mentions that he killed his employer while asking for employment XD. Plus what he says in Exponential Growth is pretty funny too. Noire - I <3 her bi-polarness. Oh Noire you're hilarious.
