I just got my pity broken by a +SPD/-RES julia. I already have a +Atk/-RES julia running divine naga, Draconic aura fury, green tome breaker, and hone speed. Since Julia is useless for inheretence, I am going to merge them. Which one should I merge into the other? (FYI, i am f2p, so i am assuming no more merges, as julia is 5* only). Also, the SP I get from this is an opprotunity to change her build. Should i do that? Note that I have a 5* Soren that i am not really using, and I wave heard that watersweep works well on her.

But is Clarine worth using, in general? (given that I have no other horse staff bots, but also don't want to use feathers willy nilly)

I was really asking whether i should build her for general use (with the Tempest trials making it easier for her to get sp). 2. So Bride Caeda then? Her + spd nature and high base means 40 speed unboosted, which is the highest any mage can have in this game atm.

two questions about feathers: 1. Is it worth spending the 20000 feathers to promote a clarine? I am F2p, and thus unlikely to get an elise. My only other staff user is genny. The tempest trials seems like a good time, as it will be easier to get SP (although I already have a klien, and thus don't actualy need her for the bonus). My 2 Clarines are +hp/-res and +atk/-def 2. I want to finaly build a blade user. My current 5* mages are: reinhardt (who obviously good enough as is), Bridal ceada (+spd/-def, Seems to be the best candidate), Delthea (+hp/ -spd, seems to do pretty well with dark aura), Katarina (+atk/-res, does not require me to use my one spare copy of swift sparrow), sonya (+hp/-def, seems to be doing pretty well with dark excaliber), Soren(+hp/-def, honestly, the only reason I have not foddered him off is that no one wants any of his 5* skills) and Lyon (neuteral, using him as a TA raven user). I could also promote someone who naturaly comes with a blade tome (although I don't know which natures my blade tome users have). I also have a garbage katarina which I would use to inherit swift sparrow. Note that all potential 5* candidates are infantry. The only two non-infantry candidates I have right now are celecia and ursula, and and both of them would cost twice the feathers. I am trying to pull lilinia and lyn on the valentines banner, but may not be able to. THat being said, It may be a good idea to make an infantry blade tome user because of all of the ocashions that require infantry only teams, and the fact that I would like someone to do overkill ranged damage (along with Klien). How should I build one (or is it not worth bothering due to horse/flier buffs)?

As someone who dislikes real time elements in game that don't normaly have them. I LOVE how this mode was implemented. You can get all rewards on the easiest difficulty, (and there are enough visual ques that you can play with the sound off, which is great in a mobile environment). THis means that I am not punished for not being good at something that has nothing to do with core game-play, or for using my mobile phonee the sorts of places people generally use mobile phones.

I just got a -def +res Brave Lucina, and I already have the neutral one who i originally picked as my free brave . I use her decently frequently, but she is not in my most frequently used units. WHat should I do with my new one? 1. merge the old one into the new one. (if the new nature is much better.) 2. merge the new one into the old one. 3. Have someone inherit aether and sturdy blow (I can pass down both by having them inherit Armor blow one, new moon, and luna from a 4* catria I have lying around.) 4. Wait untill Iknow who the free unit is. If it is Brave Ike (who I already have one of), I hear Aether combos very well with Steady Breath (such as on nowi, and most other tanky units) Edit: I read the convo above, and yes, my nowi is -spd +atk.

I dont. my biggest mistake in this game was chosing the free brave lucinia over the free brave lyn. I tried to get her on the other banners, but got unlucky. For me, the hero fest is vastly better than other banners, simply because it has brave lyn on it.

You are right. they totaly did.

Another thing to note is that the new Ike is the only new character in the datamine. I guess that means we are getting an existing unit as a reward, then. If i had to take a wild guess, i'd say gunthraa, (or masked marth, AGAIN)

I'm actualy looking forward to all the GHBs, because I missed many of them the first time (or in the case of ursula, was unable to complete the map even on the easiest difficulty because my intier team was infantry at the time.) With Regard to the rythem battle, it was the only thing i really disliked this stream, but I HATE it for two reasons: 1. My reaction time and hand eye coordination stink. THere are FAR too many istances of games i like adding twitch elements like this that I was simply unable to complete despite playing over and over. there are games i got mostly through, and then hit a wall becasue my rection time is so bad that i simply can't progress. 2. my phone does not always detect my touches. In a game like FEH, this is usually fine, but not on a rhythm game. of course, I can always just skip it, but then i would miss whatever the reward is... As for the "vote for your favorite unit, and get them free", thing, i would be highly surprised if we got a 3* or meme unit. THe opprotunity to vote tacticaly (by voting for who you want, instead of who you actualy like), is simply too obvious. In fact, i suspect that it is DESIGNED to be obvious. very few people will vote for a unit who stinks, if they know it means missing out on someone better.

Just realised that she says "I am the blade", and has what is essentualy a blade weapon. Wonder if that was a coincidence. Honestly, Probably.

I just got 20k feathers. I was torn which of three things to do with it. 1. merge my +1 Olivia to +2 (she is part of my main team, and i don't have 4* or 3* versions of any of my other main team members right now). 2. Build A blade mage (there are several ways I could do this. Expect another question if so). 3. Promote Alphonse, for the TT. (note that I already have a New Year Azura and Takume.) I have promoted sharena to 5*, but not alphonse or anna (who are both at 4*). I could also do something compleatly different, (such as promote another flyer, cav, or armor, to fill those teams out).

Yeah, me too(Although that is partly because a physical weapon with the blade tome effect would be fun to play with.)

Her "i am the blade" speech in chapter 3 sounds a lot like she does not really belive what she is doing, but is attempting to justify it to herself ("i was only following orders" is the classic self-justification for people who know deep down they are doing horrible things. Often, they convince themselves themselves to believe it so that they can sleep at night). Of course, when a character's actions are all based on cognitive dissonance like that in fiction, it is often a set up for them to become a good guy after they realize that what they are doing really is wrong. THat being said, FE loves its camus archtypes, so i might be wrong. Note how none of the villagers who inhabit the village from chapter 3 were killed. This could just be an excuse for the story to delay going to nifil, but it could also mean that Levatin is not really evil, because if the was the game would have had her kill the villagers here. All this being said, she would probably be a fire hero, and not necessarily the next hero

Okay. Given that Quick Riposte is so good, I admit i was kind of expecting that response. Should I equip any of those skills on any of my existing characters?

I recently pulled A 5* Dorcas with garbage IVs. I already have one with good (but not optimal) IVs I use him when I need a bulky green or infanty pulse, but he is not part of my usual team. Should I save the bad dorcas in case I need him latter, use him for inheretence, or merge him? For reference, my 5* units are: None of them have any of dorcas's passive skills (several of them have draconic aura, although I of course have other 4* units I can use as draconic aura fodder)

It is POSSIBLE to get yourself through college without debts, by working a job or two and getting a lot of grants/scholorships. Note that going to a publicly run school (such as a city college), makes this much easier, as they are much cheaper.

New York is REALLY expensive, even for a loft. It is also a rather "love it or hate it" city. I loved living there, but many people do not. I lived in chicago as a kid, and it does have "that vibe" going. Definitely check it out. I reccomend getting an idea of prices by going to a rental website like zillow (which you can have show rentals instead of houses) or hotpads. I just got a nice one bedroom in the bay area for a relitively reasionable price by doing that. It's also a nice neighborhood, but is a longish commute.

I actualy used to live in the Washington Heights neighborhood, and it is in new york, has lofts, and is sort of affordable. It's also almost an hour commute from midtown, and is not a great nighborhood (although i lived there for 4 years without anything bad happening to me), but you can't have everything. Expensive cities tend to have a few neighborhoods like that, if you know where to look. What about moving into a loft in a less "hot" city? lots of cities in the US have nice downtowns, that are apperently pretty cheap. I'm talking pitsburg or detroit (whose infamious rot does not effect the core downtown.) In fact, most cities in the US are vastly cheaper than New York. This includes chicago, Philidelphia, and pretty much everywhere that is not on either cost (especialy texas). Note that I gave you no job advice. That's because getting a really well paying job is REALLY HARD, especialy if you don't have educational credentials. I hear coding pays pretty well, and you can study that online for cheap, but employers really expect a college degree nowadays.

I also kave a 5* katarina and catria with bad natures.

Mother 3 is one of my favorate games of all time. the marketing tagline is "Strange. Funny. Heartrending", and it is an excellent description. PLAY THIS! The big problem is that it is japan only, so you have 3 chioces, play it in japanese (as with many cult classics, carts are obscenely expensive), play the (excellent) fan translation on emulator, or use a flash cart (not all flach carts can handle the game, as it uses the maximum GBA rom size.) I actualy really like all 3 games in the golden sun series. This iinclues Golden sun for the GBA, Go;den sun 2 for the GBA(the ojly gba game i can think of that includes save data transfer), and Golden Sun : dark dawn for DS (has issues, primaraly permenant missables, but is still a great game)/ Radient Historia is the second best JRPG involving time travel that I have played. In almost very other catagory it wpuld be number 1, but chrono trigger is just that good. THat being said, Radient historia is getting a 3ds remake this year with a ton of new content, so i would recomend waiting for that. Totaly get chrono trigger ds , though. Best version of that game. A WIDE variethy of snes and genesis games have GBA remakes, because the hard ware is so similar. Often , these have enhancements that make them better games. Examples include : final fantisy 4, 5 , and 6 (4 has bugs in the north american gba release, and a ds verion that I hear is great, and 6 adds some good stuff, but not that much, but 5 is HIGHLY recommended, as the other US releases are all bad ports) Super mario world and yoshi's island, Breath of fire 1-3, Zelda: a link to the past and a wide variety of other stuff i can't immediately think of. The quality on these varies from "must own" to "sonic genesis" (which came out one the same day as sonic 06, but STILL manages to be worse than you would expect) "upgrades" or streight ports of nes games are not uncommon. More obscure games that you may or may not like, but are generaly cheap, and have fans: Lunar legend: Remake of a sega CD rpg. I liked it Sword of mana: A remake of "final fantisy adventure", with a more detailed plot which retcons mana series elements into it. Tales of fantasia: the only translated version of the first game in the tales series. Advance wars series (2 games on gba and 2 games on ds): THe OTHER intsys srpg series. I personaly don't like them, but many people swear by them. Pokemon mystery dungion explorers of sky. Interesting translation of pokemon mechanics into the classic rouguelike genre, with random dungions and a death penalty that is more than a slap on the wrist (but is not as severe as permadeath). Has a decent plot. Password system can be cheesed to get legendaries on your team, if you are into that. Only pokemon game i am aware if where playing a skitty is viable. I have only played "explorers of darkness", but sky is the enhanced 3rd version.

One way to deal with problems like this is to look for images in "royalty free image" repositories, or other places where the author is explicitly stated and attached a "copyleft" lisense giving you the right to use and modify the work. Wikipedia is great for this. Most of my art is based off of "picture of the year" contestants. As for credits, give them unless it is explicitly specified that you don't have to(some images on wikipedia have "no atribution required" lisences.) Credit is less common on physical art because there is often no obvious way to do it, But things like tags and image descriptions pervide easy ways to give credit.

I should Note That I don't actualy have Masked Marth yet. I'm just planning what to do with the TT reward Masked Marth. I have Christmas chrom that I am running as the bonus unit (probably with my genny for healing backup.). I will probably use masked marth for the TT after i get her, though. I have reciprocal aid, Darting blow3, renewal 3, and Breath of life 3. Also, should I run Sol or Daylight as her special to restore her HP quicker, or is that overkill?
