  1. In-game, +3 or +4 Iron is not that hard to get and ridiculously overpowered. A +3 Iron is as good as a Silver Sword without the debuff and a +4 is better. +4 on Hidden Weapons especially is trouble because they were balanced around low Mt and forging has a fixed boost to Mt, making weaker weapons relatively superior. A +4 Iron Axe goes from 8 Mt to 16 Mt which is double, yet a +4 Iron Shuriken goes from 4 Mt to 12 Mt which is triple, and it causes debuffs and boosts the wielder's Speed. Even a +2 to a Shuriken/Dagger can double its effectiveness.

  3. The gold ones will never initiate an attack but will participate in Dual Strikes. If there are no green Faceless then you are perfectly safe 2 spaces away from gold ones. A unit who can kill all the green Faceless on the EP can just be in the radius of all the greens with no other viable units and they'll all suicide on that one. One thing that can help is to send your "cleanup crew" left and right while the units who are going to be leveled break the wall to the north and wait in the middle ground near the escape point. If the babysitters do their job properly, only gold Faceless will be trickling past the other units, who can snipe them at 2 range in relative safety.
  4. Not sure if they have more skills but they often have skills on Lunatic. Also you didn't mention Breakers so either you forgot or they only have them on Lunatic but you will see a lot of Breakers, especially on the Wary Fighter golds. Basically Boo Camp is freaking terrible on Lunatic.

Random thing I discovered is that if you have a unit at the Eternal Seal cap in terms of exp gain, an endgame Witches' Trial solo will get a unit 5 levels guaranteed (as long as you let all the Witches spawn). The map's full of mountains for defense so it's piss-easy to clear with a Pair Up partner. Boo Camp offers more overall potential experience (and is the only option on Conquest) but the necessities of clearing out the green Faceless and Stoneborn can sometimes limit you. For Boo Camp itself, it helps to have some overleveled babysitters for the green Faceless to suicide on and who can take out Stoneborn before they can attack. Especially on Lunatic where they Lunge-Freeze you.

  8. Thracia has a shitton of Escape missions but only two Defend missions: 14 (with the rat bastard hostile greens) and 20. The average number of Defend missions in a FE pretty well averages between 0 and 2. In theory I guess Fates, having way more maps than any other FE, could've done with 2-3, but oh well. It's not that common an objective.
  9. Avatar up with Golembane / Voice of Peace / Foreign Princess / Odd Shaped / Even Handed. Why stop at one illegal skill?
  10. Camilla can get away with it at times by virtue of being Camilla. I don't think it's very likely, however, that anyone but Camilla is picking up Savage Blow, so I'd find it hard to rate as a top skill. Beruka/Scarlet could dip it, but probably wouldn't do so until Trample is available; Xander would have to spend 4 levels in the lategame without Siegfried to get Savage/Trample, which he isn't probably going to do (and if he does he wants Trample not Savage Blow since he fights much more on the EP). Maybe Percy depending on shenanigans (Offspring Seal to MK lv5+, Heart Seal to WL, or vice-versa and level up once). At least with Poison Strike you always have Kaze, might go Ninja Talent, will have Saizo/Kagero on BR/RV, and could potentially have Laslow with a Heart Seal.
  11. Hey speaking of Blow skills and Elise, anyone got Darting/Warding? I went unorthodox on A+ options for her.
  12. He's up with Luna and Astra. Mozu up with a bunch of Faires. Xander up with Darting/Certain/Warding Blow and Lance/Shurikenbreaker. Caeldori up with a bunch of Breakers. Both up with those and other Breakers. Additionally, Elise and Sakura are up with all non-Tomefaire Faires, and Keaton and Kaden are up with a bunch of Blow skills.
  13. Finally, it took forever to get PavGis on Kiragi for some reason. Thanks. And thanks to everybody else, I got my Battle Seal tonight! So that's pretty neat.

  20. In terms of maxed-out stat caps a difference of a point or two here and there probably doesn't matter. Caps only matter a lot when they're bad or when you're trying to stack for a very high value in a specific stat (e.g. if you want a Speed character who will double anybody in MP). Especially when looking at offensive stats, with procs and crits and such being what they are a point or two of Strength or Defense probably isn't changing outcomes a ton against other maxed-out units, unless you're a Def-stacked Kana or somesuch. That said +1/+2 to a stat can make a lot of difference in-game. Tonics are huge in Conquest for example and I get the sense certain maps are assuming you're clever enough to use them as there's a few instances where a tonic on Camilla or Xander completely changes how they perform (e.g. a Magic Tonic on 10 turning Camilla's tome from a questionable EP weapon to a ORKO machine, or Strength/Speed/Defense Tonics on Xander generally). In the case of a hypothetical Fates Apotheosis map, you'd just dump one of every tonic and a meal on everybody anyway, so 1-2 stat points will be barely noticeable unless the map has some really anal breakpoints for stuff like doubling or tanking damage.
