Between the Christmas banner and this reveal, I have to wonder if this game was having income issues. But hey, about time she made it in. Now here's hoping the rest of the Fates siblings make it in because I really want to see the chaos that the Legendary Little Sisters will bring!

Congrats on getting through it! My Infernal clear relied on clearing out every last enemy while Ares baited Freyr for a turn. Once he's all alone, he's a lot easier to deal with.

Did the translation come with the ROM? If so, then it's possible that the text within the translation overwrote somewhere it shouldn't have.

I'm not worried about a traditional war. I am worried about what happens when the US puts its fingers in too many pies, then is forced to withdraw due to internal strife. I don't see an explicit anti-Western alliance. Rather, it's countries that see an opportunity and take it.

So do I, though I really didn't mind Reverie. It was fun putting all those characters together for a nice brawl!

IIRC it's Kuro 2 that has everyone in an uproar, and who knows when that will be released. I'll definitely pick up Kuro just to see how the train wreck starts.

You and me both. I'd need at least two units who can tank Freyr, because there's no way I'm ORKOing him. I'm considering the Savage Blow seal on Duo Leif if only to help secure KOs (Canto is really good on this map).

My headcanon for Reverie is that

Right now, the US is embroiled in Ukraine and Israel's conflicts. Ukraine's opponent is Russia, while Israel's stated opponent is Hamas (I'm aware that this is most likely not the entire truth but this isn't the time and place to expand on it). Hamas IIRC is funded by Iran. My guess is that those opposed to the US will take advantage of the situation by stretching US military resources so thin that we can't be everywhere at once.

While I think the US will be a huge factor in an upcoming world war, I don't think it's going to be because the US instigated it. I have my own theory as to how this happens, which has to do with how many pies the US has its fingers in.

Have you rewritten any of the in-game text?

Byleth with NCD4 is not gonna be fun to go against. That being said, most of the colors have something I want, so pulling anyone will be a win.

Hey I'm back, for now. The stuff I posted involves a very hefty warning. I don't like stuffing those warnings down people's throats if I can help it. An ounce of prevention being better than a pound of cure and all. Define "personal data", because a hobbyist forum is hardly on the same level as the likes of Google.

There's a reason why I like Jade calling him out. That being said, I feel like too many of the supports lean into a character's gimmick. Alfred/Amber is a prime example of this.

This battle sucked. Decided that Team Tank Dragon With Four-Letter Names was the way to go. Duo Duma (Armor March scroll), Fallen Rhea, Summer Nifl, and Nils were able to get past this. I kept everyone together so Duma/Rhea could keep everyone safe. Used Duma's Duo Skill when Gotoh got his health down. Summer Nifl was able to blow up squishy units with no fear of retaliation.

Let's answer this backwards! This is a game. It's okay to make mistakes and not play ideally. I'm bumbling around and haven't totally screwed myself out of anything on Hard. If you want to try something, take a deep breath and give it a shot! Save in a different slot if you're going to make a major decision. I still use forged Iron weapons and I'm pretty far into the game. They're cheap. Don't be afraid to save before starting a map and back out if you're just short a stat threshold. You can cook a meal for temporary stat boosts or use tonics for more predictable temporary stat boosts. For cooking, stick with meals that have sparkles next to them, because you really don't want to go into a map with stat penalties (okay, maybe twice if you're going achievement hunting).

I don't know about "best", but if I can be bothered to replay this game, I'm going to have a very bizarre class path for Alfred. Going through two unpromoted classes will be a bit painful, but I think it'll fix his stat issues somewhat. Which would be Noble -> some other unpromoted horse unit -> Paladin -> Avenir. Also someone talk me out of making Louis a Hero. Please.

Only if I can ORKO them. Otherwise I'm taking unnecessary damage. Plus Louis isn't the most accurate guy in the army, or he may be preoccupied with someone else. Override is situational at best. If I use Sigurd, it's for the extra movement. Though that Ridersbane is a lance, so it's useful on units who don't wield lances naturally.
