  1. I didn't understand or give a damn about stats at all. I'll let that sink in for a moment. So it was like, I just attack, thinking, "Ah, Nolan's probably gonna survive this." And every single Jeigan was abused. Oh, so very much...Well, I'd forgive not getting Supports, Affinities, Formulas and the like, but ignoring battle calculations? Damn you younger-me. I'm also pretty sure I missed Aran and Haar. As you know, Haar is one of the best units from FE10, and IMO Aran is a Dawn Brigade powerhouse. I guess skipabble in easy (Which I was playing at that time.) But a great help for Normal. Somehow I managed to beat that. My second game was FE7, and that was quite recent when I rediscovered the series, so I did OK in there...except for some reason, most of my units were in their levels 7-12 by Chapter 20. Arena Abused saved that, thankfully
  2. Uh, actually, in retrospect, I mean, after actually properly training Gilliam, I can see that HE is the one that is leaps better. Even if you are ridiculously RNG screwed, Giliam's Defense would eclipse Amelia's. Seriously, my Gilliam at 20/12 has 28 Defense, whereas Amelia at 20/20 only has a measly 18. On the other hand, I reached my Amelia's speed cap easily, at 25 - I think that's enough to double the Final Boss. So it really depends on whether you want a general fast enough she can't be hit or a general with defenses high enough he can't be scratched...Plus the fact that Amelia needs to go through 10 extra gruelling levels as a trainee made Gilliam superior, practically speaking.
  3. I, personally, enjoy using Amelia as a General. Note that this is my first Sacred Stones run, in Easy Mode at that.and I found her speed ungodly and find her leagues better than Gilliam at the same level. But then again, this is all coming from an obsessive grinder who leveled her up from a level 5 Knight to a level 20 General via arena abuse in Chapter 12...
  4. This was my first Fire Emblem game, so of course, fatal and hilarious mistakes all around... -Using Black Knight in part 1. -Overusing Volug, Sothe in Part 1, Tauroneo...Practically anyone you could overuse, really. -Bringing a ridiculously underleveled Zihark to 4-E. -Equipping Ragnell to Ike prior to 3-13. -Not realizing the existence of the 3-13 archer. And of course, the biggest mistake of them all... -Skipping the recruit dialogue of Oliver. I had placed Rafiel about 4 spaces in front of him, thinking that since he's a boss and all, he won't attack me, and I'll recruit him next turn. Then I saw him approach me. I was positive that he was going to massacre Rafiel,(All my Herons were severely underleveled on my first playthrough) so I skipped the dialogue. Next thing I know, the chapter's over...
