In Rev I always do Swordmaster Hana x Keaton at some point with Roundhouse and she pulls a little over 50 crit on everything and it's totally practical too (Marry Keaton, go Hero, go back to Swordmaster) Anyway, I'm more partial to Hoshido slayer weapons in Rev, but I like the Nohr slayer weapons in Nohr more than the Hoshido slayer weapons in Hoshido.

+2 Steel weapons are pretty busted if the character wielding them can double. My favorite example is the +2 Steel Axe having the same might as a fully upgraded Yato.

A 6 mt weapon isn't doing much to 41 HP/21 Def Spearmasters. Or anything after C18 lol.Edit: No Sieg Xander vs Silas is an interesting question. In CQ: It'd be like comparing Alance to Percival. Without Sieg, Xander still has a hulking 23 Def, 25 after personal, and access to wyvern Lord for even more bulk. However, Silas has a significant availability gap and a better overall growth spread. He can also marry Beruka in a practical run for Wyvern. Silas would also not deal with the snail crawl exp gain that Xander has to put up with for like 2 chapters. He also has a very slightly higher spd growth. I'd give the nudge to Silas. In RV: Silas doesn't have enough time to marry into Wyvern, but his higher weapon ranks are a point in his favor and his base stats are pretty huge. Throwing a ton of speed resources at him would be better as an instant promoted Silas has 1 less base spd than Xander as well. But Wyvern Xander is still very strong since RV loves fliers. I'm leaning on Silas, but I'd like another viewpoint.

I would argue that is Birthrout. From a raw statistical sense, yes he is strongest in RV but in Birthrout he has more options to boost his speed, has high availability and stands out more relative to everyone.

12 base spd is really bad and speedwings has competition as only 1 is free, but he has perfect everything else.

A +2 Steel Axe has 16 Mt. That's as strong as the final Yato. It can get pretty silly.

Tsubasa also has been pretty strong but she won't be a permanent team member tbh. Kiria's damage output is insane at the moment. But where's Elly.

Friendly reminder that a base level BR Takumi with like, a speed tonic, his personal active (insta promo Kagero), and Str tonic has enough Atk and AS to ORKO every unpromoted enemy in the game and can crit Blick promoted enemies as well. Fuujin Yumi is best archer. Ryan is probably > Shinon as well.

Watching Gwimpage's speed run gave me the pro tip of equipping Ike with a non Ragnell weapon at the end of 3-11 so you can nuke him in 3-13. I down Ike in all my runs, typically with a brave axe assault from 3rd tier resolve Jill + a rigged stun proc. Shoutouts to no weapon triangle in HM.

I think this originated around the time Persona 4 was getting a bunch of media but Troy was also reaching huge fame with star roles in TLoU and Bioshock Infinite so he really did end up a discount Troy. I've more or less come to terms with it at this point. The only one that still sounds bad to me is Effie. I love most of the voices, but as someone who imported, it's definitely hard to let go of some of the objectively superior JP voices (Xander, Camilla, Niles, M Kanna, Hinoka), but then there are some Eng voices that I love soooo much (Silas/Percy, Leo, Elise, Arthur, Saizo) that it balances out.

The golem side is shit. Just go down the Sorcerer side.

I always get kids at C21 in all routes since they learn their promoted level 5 skill and get bumped up a rank if they get a new weapon. My only exceptions are Effie!Percy, who I get literally ASAP because he is so overpowered, and Nina in C26 for instant pass learning.
