  1. While it's neat that this is an option, I don't really have a need to get it. This looks more for people who play undocked more than anything, and ever since I've moved, it's been almost exclusively docked.

Kind of surprised they didn't announce a special Dread edition, even though it already kind of looks like the E.M.M.I.

  2. That spider-wall-crawling ability reminds me of an ability from the original preview of Metroid Fusion way back in the day.

I'm so excited for Metroid Dread. Fusion was my first game as well, a gift from my grandmother, in fact. I find it hilarious too that I just did a 100% playthrough again recently, with a second-best time as well. And this gets announced shortly after. I'm so excited for this game.

Mad as hell that the special edition is ALREADY sold out. Amiibo pack, too. Ugh.

@Shoblongoo In your professional opinion, what do you think about Dominion's 1.3 billion dollar defamation lawsuit against Sidney Powell? Is it a sure thing, or will she be able to wriggle out of it somehow?

They've also thrown one of those lawsuits at Mike Lindell, My Pillow CEO. He told them to ''bring it on'', as they've got 100% proof that they helped commit election fraud or some shit.

Except...that isn’t what’s happening at all. You don’t watch them fail and die, and go back to avert it, unless you mean BotW itself and then this game’s intro. You just go back and do the new timeline or whatever.

I’ll still play and enjoy the game, but I’m disappointed that they had to lie about the premise to sell the game.

  5. Spoiler

Essentially, they didn't commit to the actual bad ending that occurred, and instead made an alternate timeline, likely with the timeline that Eggsy came from being the one we got to know previously. I've seen arguments that they actually didn't mislead us and never said it was an actual prequel to begin with, but...let's face it, they pretty much tricked us. The game'll still be good, and the story should be serviceable from what I've seen, but it's pretty weak that they did this.

  6. Only three more days left until the game comes out. I've gotten all of the Korok seeds...haven't leveled everyone to max or done anything crazy with their weapons, yet. I also haven't done any difficulty other than normal. Aside of my trepidation for the time travel, I'm still really excited. I found a Blupee in the second mission, though I missed my chance to hit it because it caught me off guard.

Honestly, I'm leaning more towards this being some big distraction while he loots the White House for everything that isn't nailed down. I recently saw a few people sharing a letter from Spanky's team asking for funds to fight voter fraud. In the fine print, it dictates that some or all funds provided may be used towards campaign debts. I'll have to find it again. Of course, it could be something else, but honestly, I'm pretty sure he knows he won't get anywhere and is just wasting time, money, and energy for the rest of us.

    Edit: Hoi

I think this is a rather big dilema. Things can go horribly wrong whether Trump is or isn't prosecuted.

Trump ending up in jail will no doubt radicalize his followers. They will never accept Trump's prosecution as legitimate. They will see it as ''the deep state'' locking up their great champion for daring to oppose them. This can get incredibly dangerous with armed militias possibly even trying to get revenge for Trump. The resentment will never go away which will make a second Trump inevitable.

On the other hand if Trump is not prosecuted then it might radicalize demagogue politicians. Trump breaking every rule in the book and shamelessly enriching himself without any negative consequence will convince any malicious person that the presidency is the land of milk and honey. They will be shown they can abuse the presidency for their own wealth as much as they can without it costing them anything. The temptation of abusing the presidency will never go away which will make a second Trump inevitable.

It needs to be done. As it is, unlike his senate trial, you can be sure that it will be less likely to deny evidence of wrongdoing and witnesses will be permitted.

I fully believe Trump and most of his kin will be convicted once Trump's out of the White House. Lawyers are frothing at the mouth to get a piece of him, and Trump can't be shielded by a republican senate when he's a regular civilian again.

It'll be tough to run for president again from federal prison.

This needs to be done. That entire branch of the Trump family needs to be punished to the fullest extent of the law and made an example of to show that their actions were, and still are intolerable. It may not persuade his supporters, but it will persuade those who would follow in his footsteps to think thrice.

In fact, the upcoming administration should create a set of laws based on Trump’s horrendous actions and name them after him, so history can better remember the kind of man that necessitated these laws. There should also be a reworking of presidential qualifications to include making certain that folks like Trump can never run again. In no particular order, off the top of my head, impeachment means no running again (as well as perhaps a lessening of power on their part), outstanding charges of fraud/sexual assault/the like should bar you from even throwing your hat into the ring and be automatic grounds for disqualification, etc.

It simply needs to be said and enforced: the president and those he employs are not above the law.

I was unaware that this was a thing, actually. We really do need a better education system...especially since there's a lot of stuff about former presidents and how they're treated. I wonder how much of that will change in regards to Donnie, since he's such a high-profile criminal as well?

Regardless...I can just imagine all of looney-bin's tweets on display in a library somewhere in Florida or whatever. Or would they curate it so that only SOME tweets get posted?

I'd like all of it to be archived so that it can be used against him in court. Again, I do HOPE he faces charges for all that he's done in office, and a lot of that would likely back up cases against him.

Aside from that, whatever demonic magic is holding him together will probably cease the moment he's banned, and he'll turn back into the pile of shit that he was molded from.

Tell your stepdad to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh/Fox News/Facebook

its all literally full tilt propaganda. Right wing media is a joke.

Speaking of jokes, it’s sad, but also kind of funny watching Trump’s meltdown get flagged by Twitter and see his supporters go apeshit thinking Twitter is revoking Trump’s first amendment. I really look forward to such stupidity being stamped out, or at least, hopefully less visible.

Georgia is going to turn blue if what I'm being told is correct. Biden 17k behind, with 60k votes to go, and getting ~75% of the votes right now. Even if that margin narrows to 65%, he's going to win Georgia.

I'll take a declaration of Biden's victory tonight, if possible. It'd improve my mood after I got denied workman's comp today.

I've never heard of Shadow of Destiny/Memories, but I think now I see what you're saying: the egg keeps going back in time again and again but it always plays out exactly the same way. I suppose that could work. I just would hope that we only have to go through one loop and it wouldn't be like the second half of Bravely Default: going through an alternate version of the same thing over and over again.

Nah, they’ll only play us out the scenario once. I still fully expect a Crisis Core-esque downer ending regardless.

To be clear, do you mean something like a closed time loop (like the Ocarina of Time draining the well example)? Or do you mean something more like Emmeryn's death in Awakening?

If the former, I suppose that would cause a bit of extra drama and feels, but then I'd have to ask why make it a time traveler? I'm sure just as much drama and sadness would come from it being just a cool team pet that gets destroyed, corrupted, or perhaps most heartbreaking of all: it survives only to find everyone gone and doesn't learn about Link being sealed away in the shrine of resurrection (hence it not appearing in BOTW).

If the latter, I suppose it wouldn't change the calamity itself, but there'd always be the question of how much the guardian's presence alters the events leading up to it.

I guess the well? In it, I was thinking more like the protagonist’s death in Shadow of Destiny/Memories, except in Eggy’s case, he won’t ever be able to find the Golden solution that allows victory over Calamity Ganon. Just an endless loop of failure.

Him winning the presidency will still reduce the harm Trump actively does to the country on a daily basis, but it will limit what progress he can make, definitely.

Any meaningful action will have to be done via executive order and Republicans are very fond of those until they aren't!

As it is, I really do pity Joe. I never expected him to be more than a one-term president upon reflection. His entire term, should he get elected, will basically be simply trying to undo the damages done to America as well as undoing Trumps ridiculously terrible choices made about foreign agreements and internal affairs.

People are giving the pollsters an unbelievable amount of crap but it feels a bit like shooting the messenger, and I think we're going to be hearing about a great amount of voter intimidation and interference in the upcoming days -- both domestic and foreign -- in lieu of all the court challenges and recount demands.

I still think the late blue surge will carry us over the line in spite of all of this, but I hope it finally drives home the point that Republicans hate democracy if it hasn't been driven into the dirt already. Just call it what it is: fascism.

Well, nothing will be done about it without consequences, and what will Joe do without a majority if he doesn't get one?

What's worse is, again, there are an alarming number of people all for fascism.
