This is utterly ridiculous.

I played a game that did this recently, but it was an older game. This is...minimal, I guess...but really, REALLY jarring. Edit: I FEEL THE NEED to balance this fuckery out, I'm sorry.

Hey, so Sonic actually looks really good, now. Who'd've thunk? I like how they did the fur patch between his eyes this time. Still keeps the dual-eye approach instead of the mono-eye, but looks MUCH better.

I see why Gigantamax Lapras was said to have musical notes on its shell. Thing looks like a really messed up camel, though.

Okay, I know how it looks. But, according to some of the comments from that tweet, ANYTIME HE SAYS THAT, there's ALWAYS a catch.

Why does it look like Farfetch’d has a Galarian form? I haven’t seen a model for it.

I don’t have one anyway. At least I was wrong about them leaving in the Pokemon, and if there’s a cap on ‘Mon, it seems unlikely that hacking will be able to do much unless they can add slots. Still a shame that this game is looking worse than Final Hallway XIII. May as well call ‘em Pokémon Hall and Pokémon Way.

And there it is. That’s the biggest problem with the game as a whole. It is MASSIVELY inconsistent.

I was originally gonna rate this a "Sonic Forces" level. Some neat ideas with underwhelming execution, unnecessary pandering, a bit too easy, and not as graphically good as previous games...but JESUS, at least Sonic Forces has better merit than this.

This game is a masterpiece, full stop. Add in the fact that the game is *PISS EASY*. The streamer apparently avoided a lot of Pokemon and trainers, rotated his stuff, and he STILL was like, 5-6 levels higher than Wild Pokemon, and 2-3 levels higher than the Gym Leader. This is COMPLETELY busted.

Jesus, seriously? Come on, I know the game's for kids, but seriously, this is ridiculous. As did I, but if the video contradicted this, then someone stated wrong, unless the player did something that made the game think he needed the tutorial.

Agreed, but it still feels weird. I’d like to add that I expect the games to, much like previous games (LGPE included), still have all data for the cut Pokemon, Mega Stones, Z-Crystals, and items in them that aren’t otherwise available, because Game Freak likes to copy+Paste their code throughout the entries. Let’s see if datamining proves me theory correct. Edit: Forgot to mention, Japan only just found out that Pokemon were being cut through leaks. GameFreak didn’t even tell them.

I don’t know. Chances are they probably haven’t kept track of it. I’m hearing of another cut. I’ve seen the gym leaders, at least half of them...but I’m hearing nothing of the Elite Four, and instead seeing stuff that says they’ve been cut. Anybody k ow if there’s any truth to this?

I can understand thanking GameFreak for their past stuff, bit at this point in time, when the developer for the mainline titles of the MOST PROFITABLE MEDIA FRANCHISE IN THE WORLD are feeling the lowest morale in its history, not when they are about to go out of business, but because fans are legitimately upset at a less than half-baked product? It feels like they’re rewarding Game Freak. Also, an ass-backwards explanation on exp share being mandatory: Except the people that use the exp share are incentivized largely to use fewer Pokemon, not the other way around.

This game’s pre-release has been the most insane, and ridiculous rollercoaster of emotions that I’ve ever experienced for any game. Hopefully this backlash amounts to something, and TPC starts taking to heart the necessary steps to better help GF make quality titles, particularly since I’m hearing rumors that a lot of issues are TPC’s fault and GF is taking a bit of the fall. Edit: So exp gained overal has been buffed. Keep in mind, experience share is mandatory, now. This isn’t looking too good for the game’s challenge, or lack thereof.

I think the most impressive thing I saw in that video was Snorlax’s fat ass taking a leisurely stroll. Good on you, Snorlax.
