Cervantes feels like he was a one-gimmick character. It would kind of be like having another Kellam. Cervantes was good in his small role, but I generally like characters with more depth. Maybe Cervantes would be fun for battle animations though? Talking spiders and curling his moustache.

Well... I started my theorising with an IF... and nobody corrected me... If you have the answers, I'd care to hear you speak up please Czar_Yoshi. I'm coming at this as an outsider because I'm yet to recruit Priam. :)

Priam came from the Outrealm Gate. Before that he had to come from somewhere. If he came from Tellius then Mist and her descendents didn't need to go anywhere. :P Folks are probably aware that Tellius and Akaneia exist in different worlds by the way. Their logical is just using the fact that both continents are connected by the Outrealm Gate as I understand it.

If you have enough characters who can handle their own (kill and live effectively without a pair-up) then you can actually kill the enemies when they arrive on the map. It's difficult, but I've done it before. Otherwise I'd go for the human shield method of surrounding Tiki. I seem to remember having enough units to do this: Which is better than leaving gaps in the diamond, since adjacent units will provide pair-up bonuses. Place your strongest units on the outside. I don't remember there being any enemies with Longbows, but if there are, they will be few and far between, so if you have a healer to the left or right of Tiki you should be fine!

Yeah, I understand that Tellius and Akaneia are only linked by the Outrealm Gate. :) So Ike leaves? That's quite an interesting point! Is the term scion not open to interpretation? If Priam is said to come from another world (likely Tellius), then his bloodline is less likely to be Ike, unless Ike had children before leaving Tellius. If this is true, perhaps Ike's descendents became Marth and Chrom, while Mist's lineage would lead to Priam, of which bloodline remained in Tellius until Awakening. Which would ultimately tie-in with the theories about why Priam doesn't get the true Aether skill hehe.

I had no idea that skills were so heriditary, or that so many FE patrons believed Tellius and Akaneia were linked. Or that some like to link together Chrom, Marth and Ike. But this thread has been very eye-opening and a cool read! Priam could potentially be a descendent of Ike or Mist, as nothing in Awakening is conclusive. To my knowlegde "scion" means descendent or heir, and if the direct bloodline of Ike diminished, then only Mist's lineage would remain and serve the legacy of Ike. That said, I do feel the presence of Ragnell and appearance of Priam suggests Ike as his ancestor. Though Ragnell could have easily just passed hands from Ike's descendents to Mist's bloodline, while the likeness of Priam to Ike is kind of meaningless since Ike and Mist are within the same generation, and they're therefore both passing on the same genes to their children, right? If not, incredibly similar genetics. It's not uncommon for there to be likenesses within families between great aunts or uncles. I'll assume and agree that Priam not having Aether would be to deny Morgan (M) the skill anyway, since that feels most logical.

Since I pronounce "le" of "Kjelle" as "ly" like "Sully" it doesn't take much of a stretch or imagination to put the two names "Kellam" and "Sully" together to make "Kjelly". Leave my K-jelly alone haha. Also, because Kjelle is Sully's daughter, I only looked for the father's influence in the names. And "K", "E", "L" and "L" from "Kellam" remain in "Kjelle". That's a whole lotta Kellam hehe!

Silverside... Touche... Sting... Caliburn... Master Sword... Razor Sword... Deathsword... Deathblade... Hrotti... Gram... Reaper... I like to give Frederick his Great Axe I really wanted to rename Valflame as KA-BOOM but it turns out it's non-forgable! It's tempting to rename a Waste as Loptyr or Medeus hehe Donnel's starting weapon always gets renamed... Cattleprod... But then I end up giving him more heroic sounding weapons when he gets stronger I have a hammer for a custom avatar unit called... Kastlehämyr after a "chess strategy" the real life person they're based on had used called "Operation: CASTLE HAMMER" hehe And an axe called Sydfang since their Wyvern mount is called Syd... Another custom avatar whose backstory goes back to Sety and Silesse wields Fee's Lance... I like to name weapons after previous character sometimes (creating my own legendary weapons) I also like to rename a spare Alm's Blade as Alondite... And give Say'ri the Green Destiny... A third custom avatar based on a friend who plays Halo gets a Brave Bow renamed Overkill... If I'm feeling ironic... Hindsight... Other bows... Fairy Bow and Hero's Bow... Weapons for Lon'qu always end up being imaginative like Iron'qu... Steel'qu... Brave'qu haha AND how could I forget! Gaius weapons are Sugar-rush... Candy Cane... Sweet Tooth...

Sorry to further the tangent discussion going here, but I currently have a game file which I'm just using to stockpile nice things and gold for training custom MUs and so I decided to complete the support log a little more using pairings I'd normally avoid, or wouldn't consider. Sometimes even the forbidden pairings of my Fire Emblem canon, that result in children having hair colours I'd never want, etc. So I ended up pairing up Lon'qu and Olivia, and I was really pleasantly surprised! It makes so much sense, because they're both so shy hehe. Their support narrative may have been quite basic, but it was still rather cute. And felt realistic, unlike some of the forced alternatives, or unromantically casual and carefree pairings which I've experienced. So yeah, I approve of the Lon'quxOlivia pairing. ^_^

Sully?? But she has a fish face! I'm sorry, but I can't unsee it! All I can do whilst watching/reading her supports is imagine her *bloop bloop*ing around a fish tank. Anyway... my votes... For the ladies I think... Cherche, Cordelia, Miriel, Lucina and Noire As for the gentlemen... Chrom's body, but with Frederick's face... so I guess Stahl is a decent go-between haha

Kellam's 'nobody can see me gimmick' got quite tired quite fast for me, since it seems EVERY piece of dialogue of his is built around that single element. Then again, I haven't done many supports with Kellam, so maybe I'm missing out? At this rate, I will probably pair him with Sully, since they're my two least likable units. Sully is just a needlessly bitter and tryhard character, who could have benefitted from more of a cartharsis/growth in character and I dislike that. That and I really think it's obvious that Kellam + Sully = Kjelle hehe.

Hit the nail on the head! OwainxLucina is a no-no haha I agree that Tharja can be dislikable too. And not just because of her cruelty to Noire. :(

You could always use the DLC, or grind Risen to get funds. I'd recommend getting Despoil on as many units as possible and go hunting Bullions hehe.

I've been creating some personalised units based on friends and family on separate game files to import into my game using the Avatar Logbook. I'm planning on making one of these a Sniper! :) And I had a question please... In order to be the best Sniper, which asset and flaw should I choose?

Sorcerer is a god-awful design for both genders. I tend to just let Tharja use it and that's it most of the time. I quite like the costume for Dark Knight though. As well as the Swordmasters, Bow Knights. And Tactician/Grandmasters of course hehe. ^_^ EDIT: I haven't played the DLC yet, but agree that the DLC art for Ike looks bad! :S

This thread is the best! Oddly enough, I find Severa to be the best option out of the horrible Stahl-haired children haha.

So just to clarify, bonus team characters sent out in a street pass team will appear as randomly generated characters? What about their weapons and stats? (I'm yet to try out the street pass functions) :) What about custom avatars brought into your game file from other files and sent out?

Emmeryn sacrificed her life to take herself out of the equation. She was leverage to use and without her Gangrel had nothing. She had the choice to live. But decided to die to prevent Chrom from having to make a tough decision, or worse forfeit the Fire Emblem. Which may have occured out of deperation. Fortunately we have the hindsight to say, oh it's obvious that Gangrel would have done this, etc. etc. so Chrom most definitely shouldn't have done that and would only be super stupid because of it. Hindsight. Remember that Emmeryn and Chrom are monarchy trying to repair the relationship (and trust) with Plegia, and therefore Gangrel. Emmeryn put her country and her people before her own life which was very noble indeed. She became a martyr of peace. I'm shocked that this could be debatable.
