  1. Strike after strike of the spears hit Freya, but she still wasn't yet much worse for the wear. Once more she brandished her axe and looked towards the soldier ahead of her, gritting her teeth. "Lady Claire and Prince Owen are right... we need to stay defensive to claim this area, and when we're all safe we can move towards the wheel! Get ready, everyone." pause on these if Suleiman doesn't kill the mage: Freya stays where she is and hits Solider #4 with her Iron Axe Nelon goes to (15, 15) and throws his Javelin at Soldier #4 too Accolon flies towards (16, 13), drops Serge on (16, 14), and ends turn on (15, 12)
  2. Time to put a spin on some of the things you always ask people! 1. I know your favorite boss fight, so instead rank your top 5, since you seem interested in those. 2. Rank all of the Fire Emblem games and explain them. 3. Since you made me guess your top 10 movies in the EiMM interviews, give me your actual list and explain any that I missed. Those are all probably long prompts so I'll just leave you with them.
  3. 1. Favorite not-dessert food? (edit: I forgot "not", which is important to the question) 2. Ideal weather? 3. If you had to recommend a fire emblem to someone who's only played sacred stones, awakening, fates, and echoes, which would you pick? totally asking for a friend 4. What's your favorite kind of fire emblem character that doesn't work by traditional rules (like dance types or shape shifter units) 5. miaou xin
  4. "Ha! Is that your best?" One of the lancers Freya had charged towards got a fairly luck stab through a chink in her armor, but it was hardly enough to bring her down at all. Overall she didn't find them all that concerning- enough that she took a look back towards the rest of their group to check what was happening. A flank... that could be problematic. She put aside her axe for now, retreating back towards the prince and procuring her javelin instead. "Fear not, Prince Owen! They're of no concern to me. I'll hold them here, you finish with the ones closest!" Accolon goes to 11, 12, throws a Hand Axe at mr Berserker, and then flies back to 13, 11 Freya goes to 14, 15 and throws a Javelin at Swordfighter 5
  5. If Owen hits Freya goes to (15, 18) and equips her Iron Axe
  6. "Unkillable swordfighters and now demonic invocations? This is getting worse and worse." Freya stays still and lets the thief have a Steel Sword to his face instead of Stealing.
  7. "I thought not..." Freya took up a defensive stance, apparently enough of one that none of the mages to the back of the ship dared move towards her. Instead, she walked past the poor sap with an arrow through his face, looking towards the familiar swordswoman from both beach and church before. "Terribly sorry to disappoint if you were expecting someone to perish quickly to your blade." Freya walks to 14, 14 and equips her Killer Lance
  8. Velvet waved at the librarian as they were allowed in, dropping off a couple of daggers at the rack. "All the ones left started running away, I think. Glad to see that a lot of places stayed safe even with how hectic it was. We were actually hoping to find something about the invaders, and hits seem to say we should be looking up anything written a little before or after the Lost Age- and during, if that's somehow an option. So if you could direct us towards anything you have here like that, we'd really appreciate it."
  9. Freya to (16, 11), equips her javelin, and de-equips her heather shield Despite her boasting, there exists a fine line between bravery and suicide that Freya did not find interest in crossing by charging the opposite way to everyone else.
  10. Freya to 15, 8 "They've really surrounded us already..." Freya adjusted her armor and readied her weapon, turning and looking at all the raiders- two familiar faces stood out. The captain sure proved to be loud, but Freya was certainly not the type to calmly accept such words. "Men of the water you may call yourselves, but certainly you cannot consider yourselves men of any real level of valor! If your skills with weaponry prove to be as lacking as your attempts at boasting, you're the sorriest crew of seafaring fighters I've ever heard of! I laugh at your weaponry and shrug off your coward's attempts at spellcraft if you truly think pirates with such caliber as yourselves pose a threat to us! Shatter your steel upon me and say any prayers if pirates believe in the divine, for men of the ocean or not, corpses can't swim."
  11. "Old books, Kolmar? I think the library isn't too far from here, but I'm not really sure what you'll find... not a lot from the Lost Age. That's why it's lost, right? There are almost no useful documents, and of course by now no memories about it... maybe you'll luck out and it's in a dusty tome that people haven't read carefully enough, but I wouldn't get my hopes up, personally." Velvet shrugged, then lit up a bit after a pause. "Unless you think something from before then might clue you in? That could be useful, since it's not like the people from before stopped being around during the different ages. Or something slightly after, which would be even luckier, since that's easier to track. I could lead you there if you want to check things out?"
  12. Although it wasn't easy fitting everything, Freya and the others had managed to do a serviceable enough job with everyone's equipment and rations online. Luckily she had managed to avoid the fate of the other deckhands, maybe having more experience with less tasty food than the other two, though it still was rather awful, though unlikely to be as bad as dealing with pirates. She followed along a bit after Claire, her armor and weaponry at the ready- there was a lot of it for her now. "Much worse indeed. Let's show them what folly it is to try and attack us!" Freya stores her Vulnerary and Heather Shield for a Steel Sword and Iron Axe.
  13. "No, the boat that we took from Wyke to Magonsaete was the first time I was ever on a ship before either. I'd hardly been anywhere outside of my home village and the capital before being assigned my post here. To be honest, I don't think I'm terribly fond of ocean travel, but it seems to be a necessity, so here we are. But I don't think being helpful on a ship is really so different from being of assistance on land, just we're in a more confined space and moving as we go. Don't worry about it, just do your best and I'm sure it will turn out fine." Freya did her best job at being reassuring, which she wasn't sure how good it was, but there was certainly an attempt! "Hmm. A dozen barrels, huh? Well, between the three of us, that's surely not so bad." And with Eric approaching the group of three, that made four. Freya gave him a nod. "Sure, working together can certainly only progress things along more quickly, so I certainly wouldn't mind some assistance here."
  14. "One of those? Well, that is bad news. But I think it's fair to give Commander Thalia some benefit of the doubt here with regards to the weapons from the museum not being normal weapons- after all, she uses a pretty amazing sword herself! Timaeus probably knows some sort of tricky spells to get them to work properly and not just end up being as useful as a fancy prop." Velvet looked over the arrow curiously- it didn't look that strange to her. "One each for his closest followers... if they are all equally fearsome, then we may be in for some real trouble. A spear for Camellia and an axe for Dimitrius, I would wager?" After a moment of thought, she then spoke up again. "And, on the topic of followers, today was strange, wasn't it? The last few times we encountered his forces, they were those conjured soldiers that dissolved into sand, but the people invading here- they were all very much real. That says something about the following he has amassed other than the four we knew about already, and that could be real trouble for us. Now it's harder to say who we can trust if he set up such an attack so suddenly. It's one thing to coordinate when he's calling the shots and they're images to serve his will, but getting all these people to work together surely isn't as easy, right?"
