  1. I put the info under spoiler for that exact reason. But again, I feel that it's such a minor thing that it shouldn't be consiedered a spoiler. Shadowofchaos has started a translation of the game. That will make avoiding spoilers much more difficult, IMO. But damn does he have a lot of patience and will.
  2. I noticed one thing while looking in the Maximum Stats... I'll put it under spoiler but I really don't think it is. After all, it's about gameplay and it's a minor thing.
  3. Takumi? He can't reclass into a Bow Knight. What I said about the class was based on the Maximum Stats page on the site. About the calculation for effective weapons, it was written on a Famitsu issue some weeks ago. But I haven't played nor seen the game, so I'm not 100% sure. Sorry, I should have specified that.
  4. EXPonetial Growth is useful in the earlygame, but after that it's better to go with Lost Bloodlines 3. There are 50 enemies and a fort right near your starting point. Just fly Chrom away from action(I bring him on the mountains in the north-west with a Deliverer Cherche, the only enemy who might bother you is Catria). And when you've completed the map you get a Paragon scroll. But overall the process is still really teadious and boring. In Fates the calculations for damaging an opponent with an effective weapon have changed a little bit. Here's how it changed: Damage in FE1/13 = Str/Mag + (Weapon Might * 3) - Enemy's Def/Res Damage in FE14 = (Str/Mag + Weapon Might) * 3 - Enemy's Def/Res Now it's much more powerful. It's true that a Revenant Knight always has an advantage over a Bow user, but if the Bow hits, the RK is most surely dead. Yeah, Bow Knight's skills are still disappointing. But the class overall seems better IMHO when compared to Awakening's one. BK are now Outlaws' promotion, a a Thief on a horse is really a useful unit, with Locktouch and Mov+1 really helping the class. Plus, BK's caps aren't bad at all. Str is a little low, but Spd and Skl are great, and Res is above average.
  5. Based on how you talk about it, the game(s) deserves all of the hype. I'm really looking forward to playing Conquest. Among all the classes seen thus far, what are the ones you want to play with the most? I really like both the Golden Kite Warrior and the Revenant Knight, and I want to see how Snipers/Adventurers work.
  6. Thank you for creaing this thread. It'll surely help a lot to avoid spoilers as much as possible. Nobody has yet talked about skills. I've seen them, and I have to say I love the new skill system. It feels much more balanced, and all the skills feel more or less useful. I'll put some of my opinions under spoiler in case someone doesn't want to know about them. Also, there's a new Iwata Asks about Fates! And it's completely spoiler free, so don't worry. You can find it here http://iwataasks.nintendo.com/interviews/#/3ds/fire-emblem-fates/0/4
  7. Thank you for all your hard work! All the people on SF really appreciate it, I'm sure. "You have to be an Elite Emblemer like me to start on Hard Mode!" I laughed so much when I read that. That part describes the FE fanbase so well.
  8. Thank you Vincent for the work you are doing this days. Can't wait to see those 10 Famitsu pages. Anyway, the Treehouse schedule doesn't mention Fire Emblem for now. If that changes, I'll edit this post.
  9. Kirikoan, thanks for all your hard work. The fanbase can wait a little more for a translation, so please don't overdo it. We should really build statues of appreciation for you and the other wonderful guys that translate all of this for free. A 9 out of 10 is an excellent vote. Since every one of the four votes comes from a different journalist, and thus each of the votes give a general opinion of the game, I think the games deserve the high expectations they have.
  10. Looking at the Treehouse schedule(you can see it here http://e3.nintendo.com/ by clicking on the calendar on the top of the page) it seems that we already got everything Fire Emblem had to offer for this E3. I might be wrong, though. Just how many forms does the Ganglari have? We've seen like 5 up until now.
  11. I really really hope the gap will be as short as possible. Saying that NoE takes more time to translate since there are 5 languages is such a lame excuse. NoA has to translate from Japanese and do voice acting, so they have their amount of things to do too. And besides, NoE should have the people to translate in all 4 languages(since English should remain the same as the American version). Smash and Pokemon came out worldwide in 1-2 weeks and they still had lots of text to translate, but since FE doesn't sell as well, there will be a gap. Sorry for the rant, but I really hate that to avoid spoilers I must isolate myself from anything about the game for who knows how much time.
  12. Very good review. Now I want to play Bravely Second even more. Why all the games I'm hyped for must come out in Europe after Fall of 2015?
  13. Best line ever. And sorry if I sounded like an asshole, I was joking. You really haven't lost anything important, just a boring Kishuna chapter.
  14. My biggest fear is that this game's true antagonist and final boss will be another monster of some kind with lame excuses to fight like conquer the world/I loved Zephiel and you killed him so now I'm mad/whatever Grima wanted to do because I've never understood it. A human or even human-like(like Ashera) could really make the plot better IMO. FE4/9/10's final bosses actually all had good reasons and a good backstory to make the fight much more enjoable than "We'll show you that humans are worth something!" and "We defeated him, now we can all return to our happy happy lives!" I also fear that supports will be bland like in FE10/13. Since their introduction, supports mainly served as an extension of a unit's personality. That way a player could discover hidden traits and backstories. While this was present in Awakening too, a unit's personality always reamins the same. Lon'qu is always scared of girls, Miriel is always studying everything, Gaius is always a candy lover, Olivia is always the quintessence of moe, and the list goes on. The units are static, they never change. And I fear that this will be the same in this game.
  15. It seems that Dusk really likes to miss the best ending. In FE7 you only lose 3 lines of text and a CG instead of 2 and an half chapters like in FE6.
  16. Dragon's Vein sure looks like an interesting ability. I hope it will be balanced, and if it is, I'm sure this game's maps will be among the best in the series. I doubt it will be used by the enemy often, though, since in both paths there will be only 4 enemies(unless someone else can use it too), the members of the royal family you go against, that can use it. What has really caught my interest is the possibility of choosing the starting point. It could really diversify the same chapter. IS surely knows how to raise hype
  17. I don't see why that should be a bad thing. Fliers have always been the best classes in FE, and IMO nerfing them would make the game more balanced overall. On the other hand, Bows needed an improvement. If they can't even do the only job they should be good at because your Pegs/Wyverns are too dodgy, something is wrong. Iron Shurikens have 4 Mt, 85 Hit, 1-2 range, raise Speed by 2 and decrease the enemy's Magic, Defense and Resistance by 3 for one turn. Best chipping weapon ever seen. Now I hope that other Hidden Weapons won't be as broken.
  18. Heh, it seems pretty OP. It should only have trouble hitting, but with an Iron Axe(if it has enough hit) and possibly any skill that increases Hit it should cause some pretty serious damage.
  19. Looking at Rinka's class stats, it seems that she has awsome Strength and Defense, with passable Speed and pitiful Ability and Luck. So she's a mix between a Knight and a Fighter?
  20. Nope, as you can see in the January trailer Bows don't have 1 range. I at least hope they give good buffs, to counter all the other weapons
  21. I really like this change, and I think it adds a lot of strategical possibilities, like Knights finally have a strong point against mages, thanks to WTA. The only thing I don't like is the advantage that now Magic has over Bows. As already said, Magic becomes the primary ranged weapon, and I really hope Hidden Weapons will be 2 range only(it makes sense with shurikens), otherwise Bows will be completely outclassed. Who knows, maybe bows will have awsome buffs, like +15 Crit or +4 Def and Res.
  22. I don't care if it comes out in January or in June, I just hope there is the least amount of delay between NA release and EU release. I really don't want to get spoilers. Of course, sooner is better. I just hope it doesn't come out in April like Awakening did in Europe.
  23. Well that is going to be strange. So the Baelstrom is going to have two different personalities or is s/he going to be just bisexual? Man the only thing that is missing from this hack now is a pedophile. Don't get strange ideas, Al
  24. Why shouldn't be versions in Italian, French, German and Spanish? Awakening had all 4 of them and the game came out only 2 months later than its NA release. NoE surely knows that for every game Japan pops out and has to be brought to Europe they have to translate it in 4 different languages at the least, they have a pretty big team of translators. Plus you should consider that NA has English voices to do, and even those aren't really a thing you make and then insert into the game in just one week. I just hope that there isn't too much delay between NA release and EU release.
  25. Looking at the artwork, IMO what the dancer is holding looks like a staff. I see her as a healer rather than a fighter.
