  1. Jesus, you would think Corrin would be in (completely justified) angst city after all of that.
  2. I don't think anything sums up the situation for the TAOTWWGTHOHWFLC better than this:
  3. [spoiler=Big image] Azura is like water; refreshing, a lifesaver but a bland taste. (not my description)
  4. Yeah, that's a bit unreasonable. I did consider doing a Like, Neutral, Dislike for each character though. I mean, it still would take a bit of time, but it wouldn't be nearly as tedious.
  5. I left it as a link. It's still up though. Person with Asperger's here would also like people to follow this.
  6. Since the results are slowing down, I created a new results sheet.
  7. I've so far gotten one response from that and they had Peri as their least favorite.
  8. Screw it, posted it anyway using a different collector. Wonder if the Miiverse Admins will allow it. Edit: Maybe some could post it on Tumblr? I sure as hell aren't noteworthy enough. I just posted it there though using the same collector as Miiverse.
  9. I could attempt to post this on Miiverse... although that might not end well.
  10. If you put it into perspective, only 20 out of 490 people (4.1%) voted for Female Corrin as their favorite. It just so happened that her least favorites totalled 13 out of 490.
  11. You don't need a reddit account to vote by the way. The poll is done via surveymonkey. Also for those curious how I voted, I did Ryoma/Azama, Azura/Hana, Soleil/Male Kanna.
  12. Well, I just woke up. F.Y.I. The poll is still going. You can vote on it. I just thought that 500 votes was a good benchmark for checking the standings. I think the reason why Female Corrin has positive points is because Peri lopsided the vote. Zero points also isn't that bad, it just means that they are a bit more divisive. Also interesting to note is that Soleil scored second on the most liked Second Gen, but because she has a lot of people who hate her, she didn't get second place overall unlike Ophelia, who had almost no people list her as their least favorite. It's the same with Takumi as well. It's also why Hisame is in last instead of Rhajat. Edit: Also surprising was the returning Awakening Characters scored high, but the expys are on the bottom.
  13. So, I conducted a poll on /r/fireemblem asking "Who is your favorite/least favorite character?" You can find that thread here. However, that's not what I'm focusing on here. I'm focusing on the results after 500 votes. The spreadsheet containing the ranked results is here. Edit: More current ranked results here Edit: Current results are now here My thoughts: Peri being that despised came as a huge surprise to me. I knew she wasn't popular, but I didn't expect her to be voted down that much. Rinkah being in second worst came as a surprise as well. For second gen, Hisame beating Rhajat as least favorite came out of nowhere. I've never seen anyone say much of anything about Hisame. The males went as I thought they would. Your thoughts? Edit: The current results are here
  14. So a while ago someone asked what would happen if Robin and Corrin changed games? After thinking about it, here's my honest opinion. Robin has two main character traits, he's a great tactician and he values the bonds between people above all else. So, there would be no "Birthright" or "Conquest." Robin would definitely try to pull what Corrin did and get both sides to stop fighting. From there, the first part of Revelations would play out pretty similarly to what Corrin did, although I don't think he would have fallen for the faceless trying to kill them thing. When they reach Valla, Robin would have allowed Anthony to join their group; however, he would also have seen through Anthony's disguise rather quickly. Also, Scarlet still would have died, just like Emmeryn did, because Robin can't plan for things he doesn't know about. That being said, he probably would have figured out it was Gunter a lot sooner. Other than that, Robin pretty much would have followed Revelations to the letter, he just would have been a bit more efficient about it. Corrin, on the other hand, would be a Shepherd, and that's it. Robin was made the tactician of the Shepherds be he was really good at it. Corrin isn't. Chrom still would have allowed Corrin to join though, because let's face it, Corrin is a powerful fighter and would be a great asset in battle. So basically, the plot would be Chrom getting his ass kicked around until he learns strategy.
  15. The charred corpses of the Valmese Navy agree with you that Robin can be ruthless.
  16. Yeah, I think "failure" would be a better term there.
  17. Unlike the general sentiment here, I don't hate Corrin, or even dislike him. That being said, Robin is definitely a much better character. The thing is Robin failed once. His plan to save Emmryn (what's spelling?) failed miserably. The thing is, he learned from his mistakes. Corrin, on the other hand, never got the chance to learn from his mistakes as the plot never really recognizes when he makes mistakes. Corrin's not stupid, he's just really, really naïve. This hurts Corrin's character a lot. Gameplay wise, Robin is broken. The only unit that surpases Robin in sheer power is Morgan, and even then that's debatable. While Corrin is powerful, he's not broken like Robin is, which honestly, despite the fact that I take extreme please in steamrolling the enemy, is a good thing. I think Corrin would play out similar to his Birthright counterpart. That is, have the plan be kill everything. He'd fit right in.
  18. I don't think I've seen Azura look that angry before.
  19. Definitely Morgan. They have distinct personalities and their voices are good, and they are the most broken unit in the game they are in. Kana just exists, is worse than their parent, and Male Kana's voice is really, really bad.
