Dual Dragons

I decided on Chrom. I have him and I'm not going into a losing match (sorry Alfonse and Sharena). And yeah, probably going Lucina for round three. Two focuses with one being on day one... nice job, guys. Totally Fair and Balanced(tm). If I had Leo, I would have supported him. I don't even care that he would be losing to Ephraim. He's honestly my favorite from the current gauntlet, even if I do like Chrom and Lucina to an extent. Currently don't feel like spending more Orbs just to search for Leo (I got enough lances that I don't want Ephraim) and I'm being stingy with my Orbs. Seems like a lot of people are throwing Takumi's so I might make my M!Robin be the leader. I know I'm not friends with many people on SF (I got asked by so many people Day 1, it's nuts, though I wouldn't mind being friends if someone asks), but it's a +Atk/-Spd one.

Decided to put 18 Orbs into the Princess focus. I didn't want the blues and colorless I was getting in the first session. Pulled my third 3* Selena there too but... +Atk/-Spd... not ideal but at least it's not like +Res/-Spd. -Spd will hurt him but not like I already play with a +Atk/-Spd M!Robin already. And then I joked about how he was in the Princess focus, considering how many romantic supports he got from his own game. My search for the elusive Laslow continues. At least the Selena's might be useful for skill inheritance later... right...?

Haha. I already have a 4* Level 40 Jagen but with the current meta, he would honestly suck. He's +HP/-Spd and he's already a Res bus. Training him, he was bleh against Swords despite having WTA. I'd rather use F!Robin (range) or Sully (mini-Abel) than use my 4* Jagen. The only credit I give him is that he would be nowhere near as bad as when I was forced to use Narcian. The guy's only claim to fame was killing a Peri in the very first Arena match he was in.

My point was that since I'm mostly seeing them, F!Robin would have a massive disadvantage. She's not good against any of them. Haha. I knew that bonus units didn't affect defense. It doesn't matter anymore since I decided to raise F!Robin and Sully just in case. I want to rush them as close to Level 40 4* as possible. Finally broke into my stash of Crystals and Shards.

I'm debating spending Orbs on these new banners. Lucina because S+ tier, or Leo because I like him. I already have a Falchion user in the form of Marth though (and Chrom if he was 5*). Interesting note: Ephraim, Eirika, and Lucina have appeared twice in banners... and so Lucina will probably be most popular in the voting gauntlet since she was day 1 focus. Contributes to me thinking about princess focus. Would spend about 40-60 Orbs max out of my ~100 if I decide to but agh this is tough.

So you would recommend F!Robin over Sully or Jagen? I'm not seeing newer characters on defense. Mostly Lucina's, Takumi's, Young Tiki's, and Lyn's. My past team was Marth, Olivia, M!Robin, and Narcian (for bonus). Narcian was pretty terrible since I would fight teams that he had no real advantage over. Even Linde's weren't great for him since he would not be able to kill her (Steel Axe; didn't risk Emerald) and he would die to everything else. Meh. Maybe I'll raise Sully and F!Robin together. I got enough feathers. Haven't unlocked for a couple seasons. I'll be left with enough for one 4* and 5* unlock.

New bonus characters so a new Arena team composition question. 5* +Spd/-Def Marth, 4* +Res/-Atk Olivia, 5* +Atk/-Spd Robin, 5* +Spd/-HP Camilla. Any of these for a main force and all Level 40. I also have Level 40 4*s of +Atk/-HP Chrom, +Spd/-Atk M!Corrin, +Def/-Res Adult Tiki, neutral Sharena, +HP/-Res Abel, +Def/-Atk Shanna, +Atk/-Spd Barst, neutral Narcian, and +Def/-HP Fae. +HP/-Spd Level 40 4* Jagen +Res/-HP Level 20 3* Jagen +Spd/-HP Level 20 3* Sully neutral Level 20 3* F!Robin I think Sully would be the better choice as she'll contest Swords really well--but I have to raise her from 3* while there's a Jagen ready to go. Between the two, Jagen has been recorded of having higher stat totals, but he's a Res bus and slow (21 Spd). I could see merit in F!Robin since she's ranged and will help any issues against blues. Only thing is is that blues aren't as common and the ones that are are Linde, who F!Robin's probably not getting through her Res even with Blue Tomebreaker. Thoughts? I don't mind unlocking a 3* with my fat stack of 27K+ feathers.

If I'm not playing Chrom or Sharena, I could support by making Olivia the leader. Though maybe I could just put my best unit forward. That's Marth, M!Robin, or Camilla.

- Chrom. I have him and don't feel like upgrading Alfonse to 4* just yet in case I need F!Robin as bonus character. Though I wouldn't mind switching to Team Alfonse for the points. They're similar in my eyes. - Sharena. Trained to 4* and don't own Lucina. If I had Lucina, I'd go with her. - Ephraim OR Leo. I don't own either. I like Leo so much more over Ephraim so I'd like to go with him, though Ephraim will unfortunately be the more common one, I would assume, due to being featured in a focus. I'll decide when the time comes. - Eirika probably. Don't own either. Eirika will probably be more popular/common. I don't really like one over the other as characters. What I see as a problem is that a couple focus characters are being paired with ones that aren't. Essentially, the focus characters are going to be more common and thus team up for the points. I find it a bit weird they did it this way. If they wanted Eirika to go up against another focus character, it should have been Camilla or Lyn. As for Ephraim, Takumi, obviously. While they're not siblings like Eirika and Ephraim, at least Camilla and Takumi came from the same focus. While Chrom can be a similar issue, at least he's paired with someone everybody gets. The upside being that Chrom is technically better than Alfonse and having a similar role. Same can't be said for Eirika/Elise and Ephraim/Leo.

Just anything to get me off the Narcian bonus characters.

When you win seven matches in a row, the score resets. You have to win another seven matches in a row and see if you did better than your previous score. If your new score surpassed the old, the old gets overwritten. If you're getting about the same score, you're facing opponents with lower scores than you previously fought, which you can't really help because we're allowed to pick only one opponent from each tier. If you want a better chance of improving your score, you need to bring units of better stat totals. That means bringing units of higher rarity and high levels, though some have a disposition for higher stat totals (Hector, for example).

@Glaceon Mage @Vaximillian We're the 3* Gwendolyn club, apparently. All I have is a Level 25 3* Gwendolyn that ran through the second stratum when I wanted to reset high stratums. Sadly, the four Armor quest will probably be out of my reach. Thankfully it's not an Orb quest. The game solidifies my hatred for Armors in pretty much any game. One Movement. One Movement!

Nino and Julia are pretty easy targets in the hands of an AI. Julia more so. This is me speaking from experience against Nino's and Julia's. Right now it's too deep in swords and Takumi's to use multiple greens being controlled by AI (similar with Armors) I'd say swap out at least Julia and put in another blue. Someone who can work pretty independent so the AI can't screw them up too much (Abel) or magic (Linde, Robin, etc.). The rest are multiple good Swords, good dragons, and Takumi's. It may seem predictable and people make teams focused on countering the current meta, but it still hurts like a truck and it can be hard to not lose one person with certain maps (split map, lava for some, etc.). You're bound to get someone eventually who can't handle your team on a particular map layout. My defense team is 5* Robin, 5* Marth, 4* Olivia, and 4* Abel. It doesn't net a lot of wins but it does get a few high-scoring wins and that's good enough.

But I want the big, big scores all those people have! :( Jokes aside, yeah. I just wanted to know if there were any improvements to be made. I tried adding Sharena for a match and, while it's doable, it's dependent on the match-up. Narcian is such a dead weight on my team that he costs me death-less matches; but, sadly, I can't do much about that. Thanks for your input! I'll keep in mind your suggestions for the future. Even with my 60+ Orbs, I don't consider myself lucky for any Dire Thunder/Linde.

What's the team set-up?

Cool. The current bonus characters have Narcian and I'm unfortunately lacking in other bonus characters. Current team: - +Atk/-Spd 5* Robin - +Spd/-Def 5* Marth - +Res/-Atk 4* Olivia - neutral Narcian All Level 40 of their rarities. I'm asking if there's a way to replace Olivia without hampering my team tremendously. She's bringing the score down a bit. Here's roster pictures: Rest are 2* and 1* units. I've got all of them (including Hero Battles). From Barst up are all Level 40s. I don't think Shanna will work even for skills since she's +Def/-Atk. My feather count is nearly 20K so I don't mind spending 2K on someone. I plan to do a safety run of the current run, then try any combination someone suggests. EDIT: I got the final 1K feathers from a quest and now have 20K. Don't know if it's worth to 5* anyone, including Olivia, when it's going to take out pretty much my whole pile of feathers. I'm inclined to say +Atk one. Even neutral Speed Reinhardt is 18 Speed. If he's going to be that slow, might as well kill things with power.

Did you account for Res+ skills? That might be screwing it up. Edit: Depending on which calculator, it's going to account for the highest tier Res+ skill automatically. Would it be fine to ask for Arena team composition help here?

Gets me a positive net after unlocking Narcian to 4*. While he wasn't completely useless, he didn't make the matches easier either. In fact, enemies like Takumi would be drawn to him despite other units being closer. He was a nuisance--but I'm glad that's over. I'll just be doing Arena matches for the fun of it. If I were to try to beat this score, it would be replacing Olivia, and I don't know how comfortable I'll be without Hone Attack/Dance. I hope the next bonus characters include ones from the Against Robin banner. I had gotten two of them before the banner. Adult Tiki is ready to go.

True and I considered that, but I didn't see any other reason why she gets Draconic series like Corrin when other Fates royalty (barring Xander for now and Elise because healer-specific) get different special skills.
