Discuss Smash bros during evo 2015 here. I wanna share my thoughts about what happened.
Sm4sh:
-Nairo could have actually beaten zero if he had not failed those d smash stuns in game 1 and 2. Things could have possibly changed.
-It was surprise that Abadango used Wario against Mr R. The first match was super hype with the Waft kill, though its such a shame that he lost.
-Im glad Static Manny didnt get in top 8. He was being such a camper against ally, spamming the spin dash. He deserved getting his tactics back at him, considering he WAS the one who stalled out anyway.
-Nairo 2 stocking Mr R was probably the hypest match in the game.
Smash bros Melee:
Axe vs PewPewU was such a good way to end today's matches, especially during the cliff moment.
-I was really glad that Plup knocked Mango into losers. He deserved that after what happened at CEO.
-Suprisingly all the gods except Hbox and m2k (press 1) got beaten by a non god in game 1, ppmd by hugs, armada by silent wolf, leffen by drugged fox,and mango by Plup. The non gods are getting better and better.

Based on last Monty's nintendo direct, we can see that intelligent systems is making a new fire emblem game. Atlus is making Citizens of Earth aka Earthbound with politics. How will they have time to make THIS game?

his knockback is increased while outside of his buggy, for what it's worth. and for that matter, you should find Sonic unfair for the exact same reason

K thanks, I managed to beat an annoying bowser jr with this. Also, is it just me, or does when he recovers and falls down, he can ATTACK with a that hammer. I find it unfair that one of the characters that spam the most have access to that.1. Get right in their face and rush them down so they panic.
2. Reflect it. Some can be shielded.
3. Jump over the darn thing. If they know they can't hit you from there, that'll (sometimes) change their tactic.
4. Get out of the room immediately.

Projectile spammers are getting really on my nerve. It's starting to make me hate characters like bowser jr, link, Zelda, ness, etc. They ruin the competitive game. They have no strategy and the only thing they do is spam, roll, lock in a shit combo because you rolled away from their projectiles. Is there any strategy for characters to stop this annoying thing i see atleast 5 times a day?

I just got smash for Wii u,I had the 3ds version before, and now I want to get. Cub nintendo account for mewtwo. I did everything,created the account, and it said to verify. So I looked in emails and got the verification link. When I clicked the link, it always says "the link you followed has expired or has already been used." What's wrong, and how do I verify my account?

My dad has smoked probably since I was born. When he was married wth my mom, he has lot of hair, no problem with it. That was before he smoked. A few years later, he lost his hair, and started becoming addicted.What are some things I should say to talk him out of it?I'm just worried about him, and I'm too scared to talk about it with him. The closest thing I've ever said to him about smoking is "Why do you smoke?"

What's some stuff besides food I need?I'm in Stony Brook, NY. School was just cancelled. I didn't think it was gonna be that bad, but we're all taking precautions like stocking up on food.

All I'm gonna say is be prepared, use a lot less battery for your phones and other electric devices, be sure to get flashlights and food that doesn't need to be in the fridge to stay good like bread, crackers, or apples. Electricity could go out at any second.

On Tuesday, New York will have one of the worst snow storms they've ever had. On Monday, it will start to have some light snow in the morning, and get a bit heavier in the afternoon and evening, but there will still be school (Yeah, I know, that sucks) Tuesday is undecided but will most likely get no school. Tuesday is the day the 24 hour blizzard starts, and could make up to 3 feet of snow.

I'm gonna start : I think to have a perfect 4 player team to defeat the Gore Magala you'll need specific weapons revolved around stats. This is what I think a perfect team would be:
Dual Blades/Insect Gliave: Can attack very quickly and use it to their advantage
Hammer/Great Sword: Its massive power and Abilty to charge attacks make it amazing
Bow/Short Bowgun: Long range shooters, you'll always need them in a perfect team.
Long Sword/Sword and Shield: Very balanced weapons, can always be put to use.
So yeah, just chat around here if you want to do online meet ups, talk about weapons,etc.

0:32- What the heck? I thought I was watching the nintendo direct, not attack on titan.
0:44- Swordmaster class and what looks to be a great knight.
0:51- Dancer class?
0:59 last second: We see just a GLIMPSE of the characters map. I see clerics, a cavalier, peg knights, assassins,and tricksters in the blue team. Red team has an archer, and what looks to be barbarians?
1:00-You can see a glimpse of the blue team's face. She has the smile of Cynthia, and the hair of Sumia. Maybe just a coincidence could be related to them in a way.
1:09- the girl with red hair seems to look like Cordelia and Sully, she even has the badass looking fighting style of Sully's.
1:17- Looks like the outfit Cherche wears.
1:19- The guy on the left looks like...Inigo?
1:45- The person on the right seems to be the new main character or "Chrom" of this game
Most of these are most likely just mere coincidences, but you never know. Also, if someone here reading this knows japanese and can translate the dialogue they say, please tell us, it will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

The Wii U gamepad is a strange gimmick of the Wii U. But does that make it good or bad? And before you hate, I just want to say this. It sounds like I'm completely bashing the Wii U, but that's not what it is. I love the Wii u with it's wide selection of games, but you have to admit it has some flaws. We're discussing them here.
One of the first gimmicks you'll notice that's different from the Wii and the Wii U is the gamepad. Cool, right? You can even play ONLY on this thing on specific games too, so even better. But then it hits you. It's just an IPad with the 3DS type buttons and 2 sticks. Not very creative. Not to mention, it has that touch control too. So... A 3ds style IPad. And, would you even want to use this huge ipad as a controller anyway? I'm not playing smash bros on that thing. And if I'm using the TV too, how do I control both looking at each simultaneously? (Hear that pikmin 3?)
Pros: Can be used to play without using the Tv, can be used as a second controller
Cons: Even though it can be used as a second controller, its still hard to use on some specific games like smash bros. Not too creative.

Im thinkin about giving male Robin Triangle Adept. Since he has weapon advantage on colorless and triangle adept gives Atk+ 20% then he could be a really good takumi counter.
