Requaero Paradiso is a semi-historical story driven RP based on apocalyptic plague-infested Europe during the late medieval / early renaissance era. It will be a story of intense survival, politics, religion, and facing the unknown. The story will not be locked into one setting; Florence is merely where the story will begin (as it was among the first major locations to be historically devastated by the Black Death). Likewise, your character does not necessarily have to be Florentine; nor even European, for that matter (Think Bursa-based Ottoman Turk, Egyptian Mamluk, Altan Ordo Mongol, Berber, etc ). Roman-Catholicism is not the only major religion to be involved in this RP, and you should certainly not limit your character creation to such thoughts, regardless of how heavy dogma plays into the plot. That said, try to be historically accurate. You’re not going to be allowed to RP say, a Native American Shaman or a Japanese Monk unless you give some very good reasoning as to what business you have in plague-infested Italy. You may be asked to modify your characters, Also, don’t worry about not starting with any supernatural abilities. It would be boring if we just roleplayed as mere mortals, would it not? ; ) For now, combat will be strictly story / text driven, obviously with no godmoding or anything of the sort (Lest I, the GM, decide to end your efforts with a swift death for your hubris). Unless someone could recommend me something that isn’t completely time-consuming and unnecessary (I’d prefer not to use dice). This will be a story driven RP, after all. Multiple characters are allowed. Oh yeah, and you’ll probably die at some point. In the case it does happen, don’t worry too much. Lol. It's different in university cause you have to try to talk to people. Taking the initiative and going to clubs is a good way about it. University parties can get pretty wild ;) Also, maybe this is an experience exclusive to myself, but it was easier to get laid back in high school lol.

Soul Hackers is pretty terrible (IMO) But Devil Survivor is gr8, and SMT IV is pretty noice.

Up to turn 14 now, I have everyone on my draft lift save Sounn. Reflections: Yamagata Masakage is the destroyer of worlds. Solos literally everything but castle battles with minimal troop investment. Unfortunately, he tends to kill enemy officers way too often, so I need to pair him with kyouko and/or niwa to capture. Orime is also a monster. Started her with pop staff until I got Suzume, then traded it off for Sousou. Shibata is helpful, as expected of a tanky footsoldier. Nothing much to say here. Akihime is garbage. She barely heals at all, troops are expensive as all hell, starts with 150 troops, can't do damage, costs 4 national power... Yeah, well last pick so go figure. Hara Shouji really isn't bad at all. Give him Ryuuguu sword, use volley as second attack, and stack up +600 damage from the item. If only he had more speed... Kyouko really helped the capturing process with himiko, goemon, and honda. Gave her guts armor to help alleviate for that crap defense (plus, I'm playing with very few footsoldiers) Honda Tadakatsu hasn't seen much action yet (Acquired on turn 12) Himiko hasn't seen action yet (recruited on turn 13) Goemon hasn't seen action yet (recruited on turn 14) Have yet to acquire Sounn. Notable generics acquired: 3 action 6/6/5/6 Cavalry (240 starting troops) 3 action 5/6/6/5 Cavalry (220 starting troops) 3 action 6/5/6/5 Footsoldier with attack luck (509 starting troops) 2 action 6/5/5/6 Tactician (257 starting troops) Got a dude with asset tech and merchant, as well. Reeling in the dough huehue. Of course, the real struggle begins when I head south. I doubt Masakage is going to be soloing Mouri, but hey.
