The GameCube. I used to play Sunshine, Melee, and Animal Crossing all the time. Sadly I didn't have Wind Waker because my sister chose stupid games like Rocket Power, there was this one weird game called Tak made by THQ and Nick. Although it may seem bad, it was actually a well designed game looking back. The third game had the best Co-op play I've ever played. Something happened to my Gamecube for a while and I got a Nintendo 64 and played Ocarina of Time for the first time. I didn't know what I was doing at the time being a kid. I guess I played Ocarina of Time real late, but I'm happy I got to play it when the nostalgia was very strong. Around the DS era is when I could finally understand the games I played. Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, Platinum, Heart Gold, and White were the games that made me today. I used to go back and play the endings of the Zelda games because of how much I cared for Linebeck, Zelda, Bryne and especially the music. At the time of Pokemon White I was finally starting to understand many issues involving the treatment of animals in the meat and dairy industries and moral perspectives. At the time I didn't connect my experiences to that game, but that's probably why I liked that game and especially N so much. This new generation will have nostalgia for the GameCube, Wii, and DS games when they mature and grow up, just like how many of you older fans have nostalgia for the Gameboy and such. I can't wait to reflect on those days.

Adding it now, I didn't think anyone liked that thing. Although more powerful, the battery on that was short I've heard in turn, which is why I didn't think it was worth it to put it on the list.

I can't get the Mother 3 Love Theme to stop playing in my head. This guy ran the company that made the only things that I enjoy in my life. The Nintendo Directs will never be the same again without him.

I don't usually care about real people dying, but anyone from Nintendo dying makes me feel sad.

The only thing that should be purple is Waluigi.

Groose and Linebeck are so similar in how they are funny and jerks throughout the game, but end up redeeming themselves in the end. Haven't played Skyward Sword yet, but I don't need to in order to understand him.Linebeck was the only good thing that came out of Phantom Hourglass. Therefore salvaging the entire game.

I'm kind of disappointed that all these big characters were ranked so high. I blame Smash for ruining the poll. Finn being there makes me happy though. Same thing with Ephriam.

I'd like to see them go through the story of each lord. Maybe like Pokemon Adventures and how they handle the main protagonists. Maybe a manga instead? I read that in Iwata's voice.

I forgot about that whole prize/goal thing, but Link doesn't go on a quest to save Zelda in Wind Waker. He's trying to save his sister and gets caught up in various events along the way. Link is like 12? He's just a kid, I don't think this women being a goal or prize thing is present in Wind Waker. I apologize for forgetting about why the trope is disliked and coming off as ignorant. I will also stop using the term sjw if it offends the people of SF.The King of Red Lions made her stay there to get captured and she was looking for Hyrule in the first place. It makes sense to me.

I thought this would happen, I like Linebeck a lot as a character and his theme is great too, but The King and his slick plan and sacrifice made it hard to choose.

Too bad for me? I'm okay with all that stuff you said, I agree with putting more creativity in characters personalities, but getting rid of these already existing tropes completely is something I'm against. I just don't like it how people want every female character to be the same way. We have Princess Peach, and then we have Samus Aran. As long as every female character isn't like Samus or Peach I'm fine. Please make a serious discussion thread of this bothers you so much. (I'm a hypocrite, this bothered me too)

Why can't a women play the damsel in distress role anymore without people complaining and calling out sexism? Why is this sich a bad thing, I already explained the whole deal about her mother. I like it when games have variety in their character's personality. I'm all for strong women in gaming, but please stop shoving this sjw stuff onto every character and game you see.The magic tan removal was a bit weird, but I'm okay with it as The King was trying to show her who she actually was and the tan was something not from Hyrule, but something gained from the flooded world.

The whole thing about Tetra's dead mother could have made her act differently when all was revealed. She must have known about the secrets and legends of the royal family and told Tetra. Why do you think she was looking for the pendant of courage? She was looking for Hyrule.Plothole fixed again? The ending was great even if most think the plot suffered, I do enjoy and always will enjoy those endings where Link has to say farewell to his sidekick/guide, no matter how repetitive they may get. Zelda's story and plot does get really interesting if you look into things more. Before I thought Ganondorf was evil for evils sake, but he was angry at the state of his people and land.

Link's pink hair was a spriting thing, it actually isn't pink. Brown hair Link should come back though. Handsome teenager and kawaii chibi Link need to take a break for a while. You guys are forgetting The King's master plan to have Ganon piece together the Triforce in order to steal his wish. The King knew what he was doing. The King was after the Triforce just like Ganon. The King used Link and Zelda to distract Ganondorf while he made his wish. He didn't just waltz in there.Plot hole fixed.

Double Clawshot was great, but other items weren't implemented in the rest of the game well, I want to be able to use my items again and again after I get them.
