I actually want to try using Zihark instead of Edward on my next playthrough and supports with Nolan. I'd choose Lucia instead if she doesn't join THAT late in game.

I'm currently on my second playthrough and I decided to use Fiona. I forged her a lance and she did alright in part 1. However, she starts to get even more underleveled in part 3 and I just have to throw her (lv 12 Paladin) away in Part 4 because the enemies are just much stronger from here. It's sad because I don't really dislike her. May be I'll give her another chance if I play normal mode again.

I think it's removable in pt3 or 4. At least in the Japanese version. Only played once, so not 100% sure.

Get Volug to kill an enemy in first turn. Reset and remove Wildheart and do the same thing to see if it halves exp.

Not necessary. Shinon in FE9 can be a god in early game, though he can still take damage from enemies if he somehow got hit.

only have the jap version here. No in game saves. Playing Hard mode at the moment. Had to make sure my units have good stats and each of them fight like ten men. Seriously, the first part gave me a lot more troubles than the others. Properly because I wasn't get use to the difficulty yet.

Agreed. I'd like to see Ike and Micaiah support conversations. That might explain how Ike became the father of Sothe's children.

I mean the Discipline skill is somewhat lower your stats to match your opponent's in FE9 (in FE10 it doubles weapon exp receives instead right?). But if you hack the game and use Greil or Boyd, they would still have horrible stats no matter what enemies you fight (something like 6 str, 5 spd 2 def etc). My point is if Ike's stats is lowered down to that level, everyone can beat the crap out of him, maybe except herons...

lack of magical swords make Mist much less useful. She used to be one of my fav unit in PoR

Just give Ike FE9 Disipline skill and OHKO him. I thought you have to fight Jill for Mist too.
