  1. So Shade and Emma appear as their SoV selves (or close enough approximations, anyway) while Yuzu and Lando appear in classes other than those of their SoV selves. Something tells me that it will be the other way around in Series 11 and it will be Yuzu and Lando who will appear as their SoV selves while Shade and Emma will intentionally be depicted in a way that is different from their SoV selves.
  2. I wasn't asking about Alm and Celica's ability specifically, though. I'm asking about how all Hero Skills function. Lv Skills, for example, function by counting the number of cards in a given stack of cards. How do Hero Skills IN GENERAL work? Or was that not defined yet?
  3. The five cost versions of Alm and Celica have a type of ability called a "Hero Skill". What is a "Hero Skill", exactly? In general terms, that is. How do they function?
  4. ...Say, I just realized something. Alm's Falchion grants him +20 power when battling a dragon or a monster unit. But what if that version of Alm were to battle a unit that is both a dragon and a monster unit at the same time? Would he still gain a mere +20 power or would he gain +40?
  5. ...It doesn't even get the Dragonstone icon as its weapon. Granted, the Necrodragons in SoV do attack by biting. But still, this is hilarious.
  6. ...Right. My bad. Looks like I'm still too used to FE12 on the higher difficulties even after all this time. Whoops.
  7. ...Now wait one damn strategizing minute here. After three of the Legions were killed the battle went through the beginning of the enemy phase and yet no reinforcements spawned. What gives? Is there a turn limit on when reinforcements can spawn or something?
  8. As far as Japan is concerned, all Pegasus Knights """""canonically""""" wear their clothes that way.
  9. Oh come on. You bothered to create the FE3/12 section just for Sheena after I pointed it out, did you not? And, on top of that, you bothered to create the RD section just for Sanaki rather than shove her in the PoR section.
  10. Given the snow, I take it that this map is supposed to be a reference to chapter 13x of FE12. Which is weird since you already killed the main Legion back in chapter 10x while chapter 13x is where you kill Clarisse.
  11. Vaike is something of a ripoff of Luke and Sully is even more of a ripoff of Cecil. This is old news, guys. Also, Athena belongs under Shadow Dragon. She first became playable in that game. In chapter 6x, to be exact.
  12. I... I'm just...so happy right now. Welcome back, dear friend. The tears do naught but show how much of a puppet you are not. Welcome home.
  13. @Raymond: Like I said in my previous post, they aren't going to pander to a skewed perspective. If anything, they would obviously prefer to weed such elements out until either said elements actually get weeded out or until said elements take steps to fix their own skewed perspective. Like, you know, expanding the title of "old Fire Emblem games" to include all of the FE4-FE12 games instead of fixating on FE7-FE10, for starters.
  14. Looks like IS has fully noticed the skewed perspective that resulted from the English fanbase's first exposure to the franchise proper being FE7 and decided to weed said part of the fanbase out in full force. Can't say I'm terribly surprised about this decision. Well, maybe Alm, Celica, Roy and Ike will get included if (and this is a big "if) IS bother to include amiibo functionality in this game. There's a decent chance that they won't, though, given the Ike is part of that list of four characters. Also, the Binding Shield's five Orbs were depicted with the Archanean Falchion, the Ylissean Falchion, the Yato, the Siegfried and the Raijinto inside of them in the very first trailer. So this game being focused on FE1/11, FE3/12, FE13 and FE14 only isn't terribly surprising even just within the context of Warriors itself. Personally, I'm just happy to see the Archanean cast get included. Granted, the Valentian cast would have been a nice bonus but them's the breaks. Also, IS. Please, for the love of all that is good in this world, lets Marth and the male Corrin have access to the FE12 look with the DS Falchion and the Binding Shield included as well as the Nohr Noble armor as alternate costumes. Pls.
  15. Caeda looks damn great ("Baeda" tier, even) and Charlotte is pretty nice too. The other two are nice inheritance fodder, I suppose. I wonder, though. If this is supposed to be a seasonal thing then what is the occasion? Is there going to be some sort of thematically appropriate festival within the next...two or three months? Tanabata, maybe?
  16. I'd just like to point out that Mila did nothing about Lima being the sort of king that he was for...how long exactly? That is at least a decade of inaction on her part while his reign is specifically stated to have been full of rebellions by one of the Ram villagers. Now to mention the crazed look in her eyes when she looses her cool. The global effect of draconic degeneration was clearly getting to her if she didn't consider the specifics of the state of Zofia (as in, she only bothered to keep the land fertile but she didn't give a damn about the ruiling king's debauchery) outside of her temple to be worth her time.
  17. Well, snap. The Conqueror and Maeve classes respectively have the symbols of Duma's and Mila's faiths on the back side of their capes. Now that is legitimately cool.
  18. Keep something like them but tie them to characters more than items and make them be derived from a given character's weapon rank with a given weapon type.
  19. Does Shadows of Valentia specifically refer to Alm as an "Exalt"? Because if it doesn't then the title of his Awakening einherjar isn't "Exalt" either. It is "Exalted King". Or does the einherjar also get referred to as "seioh"? Also, does Marth ever get referred to as "seioh" in the context of FE12? Dialogue during the final chapter? Character endings? Anything? And did the Archanean kings ever get referred to using the term "seioh"? Did the kings of Grannvale from before Arvis' takeover ever get referred to as such? Did Lima IV ever get referred to as "seioh" in SoV? Rudolf was quite clearly simply referred to as "emperor" ("kotei") so that isn't a problem...Oh, and what did Hardin and Arvis get referred to when they became emperors? Were they also called "kotei"? But even if any people from the continent of Archanea get referred to using the term "seioh", it should still be noted that the First Exalt ("shodai seioh") is still referred to as such regardless. So at least make the distinction between Exalts within the context of the First Exalt's existence and any "seioh" that came before by calling the latter "Exalted Kings" instead. Such a distinction actually makes sense since they aren't quite the same thing to begin with, even just within the context of the Archanean continent. And since we have one example of a "seioh" that is still from the Kagaverse but isn't from Archanea being referred to as an "Exalted King" specifically then it stands to reason that the other such example ought to follow suit...unless the first example already got overturned in SoV, of course. Additionally, is Archanea ever referred to as the "Holy Kingdom of Archanea" in capital letters in FE11? The only mention of such a term that I found reads as "the holy kingdom of Archanea", meaning that the "holy kingdom" part might simply be a description and that the kingdom of Archanea might not have any official English names beyond simply "Archanea". Meanwhile, both the kingdom of Archanea and the Halidom of Ylisse are referred to as "seiokoku". So...what, does that mean that the kingdom of Archanea is to be referred to as the Halidom of Archanea for the sake of consistency? Technically, there isn't anything in English to contradict it but I thought this ought to be discussed first. Oh and, just to double check this, when the Falchion is referred to as a "divine blade" in the script of FE11 the term "shinken" is the one that gets used, right? And what is the Falchion's name as an actual item in FE11 and FE12? Is it just "Falchion" or is it "Shinken Falchion"? And the actual item that is the Falchion used by Marth in SoV is also called "Shinken Falchion", correct? What is Alm's Falchion called as an item, then? "Falchion"? "Shinken Falchion"? And I'm assuming that Lucina's Falchion in SoV is actually called "Parallel Falchion" ("Uraken Falchion") in the Japanese version just like it is in the English version?
  20. With both Roy and Ike getting included I'd certainly like to hope that Marth is also going to get a card in here.
  21. Continuing my previous train of thought, it is actually hilarious to realize that the Whitewings participated in FOUR battles against a "Big Bad Evil Dragon" (tm) over the course of a grand total of a mere four or five years or so (Medeus as an Earth Dragon, Duma, Grima and Medeus as a Shadow Dragon). Char comes a close second due to participating in battles against three of the those four over the course of three or four years. ...You know, at this point it wouldn't surprise me if the process known as the Awakening involves Naga secretly calling upon the dragonslaying powers of the Whitewings to bring the Archanean Falchion back to its original might. I also, wouldn't be surprised if their birth was prophesied in the text of the Naga tome and that is actually why it had the power to defeat Loptyr. >_> <_<
  22. ...What are you talking about? Where did I ever bring up the First Exalt? I was referring to how Marth knew about Alm and Celica's fight against Grima, how things have actually changed in Thabes since he and the Archanean League visited it in chapter 23 of FE11 and what effects Grima's corpse being around might have on the journey through Marmorthod.
  23. ...You know, I just realized something. And yes, this isn't completely on topic but it isn't completely off topic either. Anyway, the Whitewings were there to help Alm and Celica battle Grima. And it would only make sense that they would tell Minerva everything that happened to them over the course of their absence. And Minerva would have then at least notified Marth & co. about the situation as they were nearing Marmorthod. In other words, it is quite likely that Marth actually knew about Grima's corpse being underneath Thabes. Really puts a new perspective on chapter 11 of FE12, doesn't it?
  24. It also lets both Diarmuid and Fergus (and only those two) use the Beo(wolf) Sword so make what you will of that.
  25. I just hope that the schedule for the next four or so Grand Hero Battles gets posted soon after Lloyd's comes out. And I really hope that Camus is the first on that list. I mean really, IS ought to at least give the players access to all the playable units that have been coded into the game since day one before moving on.
