  1. Actually about Falcos, the game disappointed me with no great use of them since it was focusing only in armored armies. The point of view was directly from exp of past games and PEXP, by the way, the game doesn't give the escence of a falco or a peg since no character have res growth (only magic wielders and one or two apart from them). I know dracos are more useful in the playthrough due to their str and def, so they give a win on it. But the matter is I DO PREFER FALCOS since all of them end better than the Dracos I train. It's no specific matter since all of them are abused in all ways. Though falcos doesn't have so bad reputation on the game since they're not the only units in the game, so as the game have lots of bishops and mages (not in all chapters), Falcos can't suffer so much the damage they can inflict since it's a difference of five points. Well as you can see, the description and calculations were done only by a comparison between Falcos and Dracos and their respective ranks and bonus, etc. There were no mages nor paladins nor knights; only fliers. However, both of them are excellent units, both of them have the same object in the game, for that you could make of your party both of them to create balance. At the end, Falcos are lighter and swift, Dracos are robust and strong, they're opposed and for that both of them are great in the game (the need of it isn't absolute). The other thing is that I give my opinion specially based on FE7 where falcos have better oportunities.
  2. Actually, if a Falco has an A rank on swords, she'll gain +3 in swords and compared with a capped str draco with a capped str Falco, she'll gain almost the same might with a silver weapon and can have even more might with Mercurius than with a Haulteclere. So 24+18+3=45 might for a Falco and 26+18=44. The difference is one but the Falco has more chance to hit since the Dracos hit is reduced by its bonus in hit for axes and by its reduction for triangle. As for def there's no great problem since all of the pegs have nice def.
  3. If you are planning to arena abuse, go for Palla as a sniper, she'll land crit at all times since she'll cap skill and str in less than lv 10 (PEXP). If you're having trouble with cavaliers, don't worry, train them with swords as when promoted they'll level up their lance rank (as you know, a basic paladin has D Lances and E Swords) so then your cavalier will be balanced but if you are specializing him with a type of weapon, then ignore what I just had recently said. You can also arena abuse with a Sage/Bishop that has more than 23 of magic, as though the Sage/Bishop will easily wipe enemies in two attacks unless you face a Bishop or Sorcerer.
  4. I voted for Falcoknights since they're my favorite flier class since they're accurate and are faster than Dracoknights. Both classes are ok but still falcos are somehow better. Nonetheless the peg. knights in the game have a certain "destination". So in other words, Caeda by her statistics and ways to level up she goes more as a Falco. Palla goes for a Draco since she's strong and skillful, however she has little speed for a peg and as though must go as a Draco to exploit her growths. Catria goes for any but tends to be a Falco for her speed, luck and skill, since Dracos are stronger, skillful and flying tanks. And finally Est is to be a Falco, her speed and luck is wonderful and being a Falco means to evade attacks. Away from the game, I prefer (supported in past fe games) Falcoknights by her high skill and speed, low def that it's contrasted by her high evasion and as though many of them caps luck and maintain a very high or capped resistance that compensates the accuracy of magic tomes. The only low point is the str and hp of the Falco, they're mage-killers but they may go down in a battle with a general unless the falco has a special weapon or stays with an acceptable or high str. In other words Falcos are better, they dodge many attacks and counterattack with fury and critical attacks while Dracos miss most attacks but are a flying risk for defenseless units.
  5. 1. Ike - He always caps every stat (luck and res are exceptions but end in an average-high#). Ike is the only character I use in trial maps, he's injured and goes with Aether. He's unstoppable and the best one. 2. Boyd - He's somehow like Ike, but not so as to be Ike. Boyd caps Hp,Str, Skill and Speed, his luck and def is high, and his res is not so good but he stands and dodges meteors, boltings and blizzards and all magic attacks. He's awesome, so he becomes berserk when activating his occult skill Collosus. 3. Soren - Soren goes magnific, he is a great killer and good dodger, he caps magic, skill, speed and res and can be in battle with Boyd unless he raises his str and luck in order to equip efficiently a magic tome. 4. Ilyana - She can be even more powerful than Soren. She almost caps magic, but stands really high, she also caps skill; maintains a high speed and luck, goes with great str for a sage and caps res. She becomes excellent when capsing skill and equipping a rexbolt and more great with an efficient and useful support. 5. Zihark - He's undoubtedly the best swordmaster, he caps str, skill, and speed. He stands for an outstanding luck and def, but unfortunately his res isn't great and neither bad. He goes good for the fourth or fifth place. 5*. Jill, Nephenee and Mist - These three handsome and powerful women fight for the 5th place since both Jill and Nephenee are almost the same and cap str, skill, speed and maybe def. And for Mist, she caps str, magic, skill, speed, res and her luck is the best.
  6. Well the best characters in PERSONAL EXP, are Lyn, Florina, Lucius, Nils/Ninian, Serra, Hector, Lowen, Priscilla, Raven, Canas, Louise, Pent, Dart, Nino & Jaffar. PS: These characters are obviously personally trained and having most of their stats capped. I missed Eliwood but he doesn't goes too good with me except by RNG and Arena abuse.
  7. Well it's supposed that knives work against Magic wielders, but it's not worth it cause I trained Calill and she's supposed to have high str for mages but even the Priest resisted the attack (double). The only mage that counts with high str is an abused Tormod, instead give staves to Soren and Ilyana, but the knife still won't do for good so give Tormod a staff if you're going to train him. But knives were a bad creation, only to distract the eye.
  8. Oh God, it's serious work to get them but I beat the game 16 times, really exhausting, but the results were for almost two years...well you know, there are other games. But I unlocked everyone, the only ones that are worth the effort are Petrine, Bryce and Ashnard while Oliver and Shiharam were excecuted in the 1-2 turn of the map. But well, I only played Ashnard a couple of times cause I lost the game.
  9. Well, actually I'd recommend you to give an Aether skill on Ike since it's much better towards BK, Ashnard and Bryce. It'll work better than to give him a wrath skill since he lands approximately low damage to BK; in fact you'll strike and recover at a time. For Soren, you just make him stay with Adept, or add him a Vantage; I don't give him Flare because he won't take heavy damage to normal enemies that are armored and well-defense units, I'd rather give it to Ilyana that does more damage.
  10. Hi there, welcome to the forest of forests. You'll enjoy plenty, that's for sure. It'll be great to share opinions from people around the world. Again, nice to meet ya and welcome!
  11. In recent times I had never known about RNG abuse/manipulation and that stuff but misteriously I always do it, starting with the shift+f1 in fe roms, but mostly in Path of Radiance, but now that I know what does it mean I can tell that it's totally official, if the game unconsciously or consciously gives us this privilege it's because it DO knows that it's absolutely lawful. I always RNG and most of it Arena Abuse. I like perfection and things well done so I train my characters at the arena at lv. 20; in fact, at chapter 10 I have most of my characters promoted in level 20. But the thing is, that it's not cheating or hacking; it's only a way to play, that's all.
  12. I voted for Ike, I've seen some of you are and may be impressed but if we think seriously, if you abuse on Bonus Exp, he'll end maximizing Hp, Str, Skill, Speed and Defense, even though his luck and res aren't maxed, hea obtains an average-high point on it. He's invinsible with Ragnell and so on with Aether. I don't think he's the second best, HE'S THE BEST! Ike is not like Roy or Eliwood that DO are crappy ones, Ike is different, he's an all-around. As for my second best character, I would choose between Boyd, Soren, Zihark, Ilyana (breath if you want :D ), Jill, Titania, Oscar isn't so excellent, he's...just good (IMO), Nephenee or Tormod or Calill in last option. I think all of them have their good qualities and do have their good shortcommings but in conclusion the best is Ike and the second place is well fought.
  13. For me, Ilyana has been very underrated around all the fe players/fans. I think only in BEXP abuse on everyone, but for Ilyana, she's much easier than Soren. Nonetheless, miraculously, Soren raised his str, he had one point of str enough to lightly equip his wind magic. But for Ilyana, she raises str like each 2 or 3 lvs. That is enough to make Ilyana well-equip her elthunder, thoron and have less reduction by equipping a rexbolt. Another thing, Ilyana tends to have more luck, she tends to max skill, res and maybe magic. Since she has a maxed skill, she'll land to anyone her critical hit with a Rexbolt. By her defense she won't be much problem since she can have a good support with Gatrie since his affinity is light and can obtain bonus defenses with an A support. I don't mean Ilyana is the best one and neither the worst one, she's fine and very good. Their differences aren't so big since Soren has good magic, he won't take good of it though he uses wind magic that is weak and light for him. And for Ilyana she has good magic also but lesser than Soren's, BUT!it's compensated with the most powerful tomes that are thunder magic: they're heavy, powerful and easy to land a critical hit. In conclusion, Ilyana gets to have a higher might than Soren. Hey! Don't forget Tormod or Calill, what do you think? Nice, eh?
  14. I vote for Zihark, he's more powerful than Mia, he has more stamina, defense and strength, nonetheless he counts with much more skill than Mia. Also, you could make of Zihark a greater one with a Vantage skill, he'll always attack first and since he has a high skill, the Adept skill won't take long to be activated. Yes, it could be the same with Mia but she lacks the skill Zihark does, otherwise she's fragile by her low str and def, instead by her growths, she seems to be a magic wielder. Still, if Zihark is accompanied by an A support with Ilyana and a B support with fat Brom, he'll be unstoppable. Go for Zihark, he'll be a living Vague Katti.
  15. I also obtained the bonus items from Mario Kart:DD Bonus Disc. The thing is that when I wanted to seethe weapon's description, it resulted ok and the mayority of the time, the description was viewable. But as you say, sometimes the description is changed by some wierd blue squares, I don't know exactly what the problem is, but my game was never altered in such a way when I wanted to see these items.
  16. Thanks for the welcome, nice to meet ya.
  17. Well I suppose, the game tells us:"you mustn't attack Minerva on C7". I guess, the option is to kill her with only one shot or ignore her. :D :D
  18. I'd rather have a well-balanced team. Then, go for it: Marth (Lv. 30-Lord)- He's balanced and is useful and strong. Has great str, skill, speed and luck. Frey (Lv. 20-Paladin)- He's like Marth but with more skill; caps str, skill, spd and luck. Caeda (Lv.20-Draco knight)- She must be Falco but in order to raise her hp, str and def I chose Draco. Caps skill, speed and luck. Ogma (Lv.20-Hero)- All-around soldier, caps str, skill and speed. He's an excellent hero. Barst (Lv.20-Warrior or Berserker. Depending on how his stats go for the required class)- He's strong and stands for great stamina (str & hp), skill and speed might go equal but if high speed, berserker or warrior if high skill. Therefore he caps luck as a berserker. Julian (Lv.30-Thief)- Efficient and strong to be a thief. Caps str, skill, speed and luck. Unluckily low def and res. Lena (Lv.20-Bishop)- Her only option, caps luck and res. No way to be sage since she lacks its magic and skill. She's a magic tank. Merric (Lv.20-Sage)- Caps skill, speed and maybe magic if greatly abused. Low res to be a sage. Nice luck but good sage. Wolf (Lv.20-Horseman)Optional- Caps str, hp, and skill and speed must be helped with secret books and speedwings. High luck and def. Sedgar (Lv.20-General)Optional- Caps hp, skill, def, str and speed. Great general and tank in battle. Linde (Lv.20-Sage)- Same as Merric. Caps luck and speed. Palla (Lv.20-Draco knight)- Caps str, skill and speed. Unlucky but with high def. Catria (Lv.20-Falcoknight)- Caps str, skill and speed. Lucky and average def. Est (Lv.20-Swordmaster)- Caps str, skill, speed and luck. She becomes destructible. Able tp use Mercurius as a course of the history. The three whitewings are strong and perform the triangle attack Tiki (Lv.24-26-Manakete)- Excellent manakete, caps str, skill, speed, luck and high def and res.
  19. Interesting, your point is good but there are some levels in which they disappoint us or they may surprise us and as a consequence they may result as good or bad. It's just that I trained both of them until lv.20 at the arena in chapter 8 and Wolf ended with better speed and str than Sedgar. What might be the fact? Dynamic growths? Then it's sort of...luck?
  20. Mist is far more useful than Elincia, have Mist promoted, help her forging a powerful sword and make her have the sword rank to equip her with the sonic sword. She'll be awesome. About mobility, equip her with a physic. Elincia comes late and fragile. Also, Mist will be of great use with the battle between Ike and Black Knight. The fact is that you can somehow control her growths with the gained experience. First, save in the battlae prep, go to raise her lv with bonus exp., do it as multiple times and decide on the best growth.
  21. Athena is the best choice since she's Navarre's copy, Horace isn't worth the effort, Etzel and Ymir are even worst. I go for Gotoh just because you obtain Thoron and Swarm for Wi-fi battles and since a well-trained Tiki is the double of Nagi. Go for it!
  22. In the game, we have the option of training archers/snipers: Gordin, Norne, Jeorge or Tomas and hunters/horsemen: Castor, Wolf and Sedgar. Gordin: good promotion gains but awful in all aspects. Norne: nice speed but no good str. Jeorge: noting at all. Tomas: pure speed but nothing more. Castor: unbalanced growth, nice skill, speed and def. Wolf: Horrible bases but magnific growths. Goes more on str and speed. Sedgar: Goes more on skill and def. I chose hunters/horsemen due to the quality of the bow users the game give us. The available options are for Wolf and Sedgar. The archers are horrible. My opinion is based on no reclassing. The class swap option widens the horizon.
  23. Lyn: 9.6/10-She's a swordmaster in other words, nice strength, exceptional skill, speed and luck, but it contrasts her low defense; she has impresive evasion with supports (Eliwood, Hector*, Florina*). Kent: 8.1/10-Low strength, but nice skill and speed, awful luck. Sain: 8.3/10-High strength, speed and nice luck, the rest...no comments. Florina: 9.9/10-All of her stats are awesome, a little more on defenses. Wil: 6.2/10-He's average but no unique skill. Dorcas: 6.6/10-Good stamina and strength and skill, low speed, luck and defenses. Serra: 9.4/10-Excellent bishop, but her low constitution and defense make her weak. Erk: 8.9/10-Good magic, speed and resistance, low defense and average skill. Rath: 5/10-Good at the beginning but pathetic at the end. Matthew: 7.6/10-Nice thief but not as an assassin. Lucius: 9.6/10-Excellent bishop, but low luck and defense. (He isn't much trouble, if well trained, his luck and defense won't be a problem since he'll land critical hits). Nils: 9.8/10-Useful, awesome evasiveness and nice defenses. Wallace: 4/10 Eliwood: 9/10-Nice skills in combat, all-around. Marcus: 3/10-Terrible stats but a steel tank at the beginning. Lowen: 9.7/10- He may have the chance to max it all except resistance. Rebecca: 9.8/10-Great sniper, better than Louise. Bartre: 8.5/10-Awful bases but good growths. Hector: 9.6/10-A fast and skillful combination of a warrior and a general. Very good. Oswin: 9/10-An iron tank, it's worth his training. Guy: 9.2/10-Better than Karel, but low strength and cons. Priscilla: 9.4/10-Same as Serra. Raven: 9.6/10-Fantastic heroe, but low luck and res. Canas: 9.7/10-An excellent druid, great magic, skill, speed and res, average def and luck. Dart: 9.8/10-The best berserker in the game, make him have a support with Rebecca and both of them will be killer machines, their critical will be more than 60% with a killer weapon. Fiora: 9.3/10-Same as Florina but low luck, and her growths aren't as fantastic as Florina's. Legault: 7/10-Only as thief. Ninian: 9.8/10-Nils as a female. Isadora: 2/10-Same as Marcus, well, weaker. Heath: 8.3/10-Not so surprising, good skill, strength and def. Hawkeye: 4/10-Pathetic growths, nice hp and strength. Geitz: 5/10-Good but not at all. Pent: 8/10-He might have the chance since his bases are good, but his growths aren't so nice. I use him because of his support with Louise. Louise: 9/10-She has decent growths, her bases aren't so good, but meanwhile she'll turn on very good all along with Pent. Karel: 8.7/10-Nice bases, but low growths in strength and speed for a swordmaster. Harken: 8.5/10-Same as Karel. Nino: 9.9/10-The best mage. Awesome growths but her status as mage in level 5 make her very hard to train. Nonetheless I succeeded on having her as a sage in lv. 16, with the help of an arena. Jaffar: 9/10-He's a bit confusing, excellent bases but his growths may be not so of an obstacle. He's undoubtedly the best assassin. Have him have a support with Nino and they'll be undestructible. Vaida: 5/10-A horrifying flier, may be useful to kill minions but no bosses for the endgame. Karla: 6/10- Pathetic swordmaster for the last chapter. Horrible bases and growths. Athos: 9.7/10-Excellent for indirect combat, not so good directly. His excellent magic makes him a great use, but be aware of Lloyd or Linus with him. Just good luck on him for it. This is just my opinion.
  24. Hi there, the name's Daniel, I'm from Colombia and I've played Fire Emblem since 2001, throughout 8 years I've improved each day my skills as a strategy tactitian in this awesome game. I've played Sealed & Blazing Sword and Sacred Stones, but Path of Radiance and Shadow Dragon are both my favorites. I hope we share about these fabulous games.
