The identity of Masked Knight
Wayward Alchemist replied to Cat Villager's topic in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia
I... I overlooked it... But I finally realized... The 『M A S K E D K N I G H T』 is Celica's awakened Stand -
Eh, it doesn't seem like there will be much room for ignoring Berkut, Fernand, or Redhair McMaskman tbh.

It's a shame that there are so many Mercs and other Sword users on Celica's route, because Atlas is only really usable in Gaiden with that instant boost to Speed Merc provides, and even then he has stiff competition for weapons from Kamui, Saber, Jesse, possibly Dean, Celica and hell, maybe even promoted Mae and Sonia.

I don't know about the not-douchebag bit, the only notion of his character we have is from the one Dutch Comicon player, who said his support with Tobin was mostly Kliff chewing Tobin out for trying to have a conversation on the battlefield.

I'll give you that, it doesn't look enough like a beaver's tail to be Josuke. Regardless, looks like a great design! -

Should Jagens be gone for the next FE game?
Wayward Alchemist replied to Harvey's topic in Fire Emblem: Three Houses
No, Jeigans are quite a staple of the series and make high difficulties more fun and less RNG-abuse focused. Additionally, Jeigans tend to be older and more jaded and are mor diversity to the cast rather than twenty-or-so teenagers. -
Battle Skills
Wayward Alchemist replied to Corrobin's topic in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia
It's a cool way to balance out Mage classes and Physical classes, for sure! I don't know if different weapons yield different skills or if they are bound to the character, but these look very promising. -
Realistically, we know she has three: we've seen her as a Cavalier, a Pegasus Knight, and there is precedent for female mages. There is not precedent for female Archers, Mercs, or Soldiers in Gaiden, but it is very possible she could promote to those. Pegasus probably just replaced one of the three.

Found the screenshot, Python is on the right in blue, and it looks like he has a pompadour. Forsythe is in green on the left. -

If you're incredibly swift about pausing the video, we see a pretty blurry glimpse of Python and Forsythe during the Village exploration sequence. I don't think it's worth uploading bad smart phone screenshots, though. -
Some new info from Dutch Comic Con
Wayward Alchemist replied to Jedi's topic in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia
Maybe it's Sonia? That'd be cool if Sonia got close to Berkut before becoming a turncoat/dying fighting Celica's army. @unique, Clive was pretty bad in the original simply because Mathilda joined already better than him and then you got Zeke and Mycen who were... Well... Zeke and Mycen. -

If this guy was being legit about my boy Clive being really good, I'll be extremely happy!
