  1. Hello friends, I've finished Birthright and Conquest and during my playthroughs I noticed that Intelligent Systems changed a lot of things in this game from Awakening and even added new things as well. And one of the things they changed was the level up system, you can't reclass forever so you have to be careful of how to use your seals. I don't intend on making mistakes on my Revelations playthrough, so I ask when is a good time to promote a unit? I just got Takumi for example and I wanna master seal him to a sniper and then heart seal him to a Basara because of Rend Heaven, but the question is should I do that now with him at level 10 or level him up a little bit to improve his stats? Basically what's the optimal way of going about this? Eternal Seals are kind of expensive so I don't wanna buy too many of them if I can avoid it.
  2. I just finished it guys, this "Using the wind to my advantage" advice made me finish the level in just under 20 minutes. I took all my royals and Kaze to the furthest points of the wind and had them boost each other until they reached Fuga, my other soldiers remained behind to distract the main bulk of the enemy's force. When I finally reached Fuga I weakened him with Kaze and had Camilla deliver the final blow as Leo seized the map's goal. All and all, a great level despite me struggling a bit at the start. Azura said the next battles will be the toughest, I say bring 'em on. Thanks guys!
  3. Hey guys, I'm having a bit of trouble at Nohr chapter 20 "Winds of Change" So my units are about on par with the enemies, a bit stronger in fact so they can easily keep up in the combat side of things. But the problem and what keeps getting me is the map's hazard, the wind. It keeps pushing you forward and or pulling you back from the progress you made, and it does that to the enemies too, and that usually left my weakest units exposed for the enemies to just wail on them. Can you guys help me with some advice for this level? I'd be much appreciated. I'm playing on hard difficulty by the way.
  4. Ninja is my top one without a doubt, the stat drops mechanic is such a great addition. Maid and Butler too for similar reasons, I dunno there's no new class in this game that I hate really. Inevitably not all of them will make a return so yeah I'd say Ninja, I really like Maid/Butler too but we already have a lot of healing classes anyway.
  5. I think the kids are alright but seriously? Awakening's excuse to bring kids into the battlefield was better, time travel was part of the narrative. This "Deeprealm" for them to train and grow up fast? I think it's retarded really. I'm not saying time travel was perfect in Awakening since it left some plot holes but the concept of the Deeprealm is kinda stupid. Aside from that, the more the merrier. I like kids and I want them to make a return, just no more Deeprealms. No more Dragon Ball Z in my Fire Emblem thank you very much.
  6. I finished Birthright and reached chapter 10 of Conquest, this is basically my opinion: 1. Iago: Oh yes, he may not be a mass murderer like Hans, but this fuckhead tries to kill you no matter which side you choose, and he influenced Garon to distrust you in conquest. Let's not forget the faceless attacks, and I bet I haven't seen the last of them in Conquest. As for Birthright 2. Blame Hans for the war, he started it all. And even though it was at Garon's orders, I'd bet he would've done it anyway. Hoshido and Nohr already hated each other's guts and he lit the last bit of fuel in the fire to start the war. 3. Garon: Yeah he's a big SOB but he mostly sat on his throne while all of this transpired. Doesn't make him any good, he's still rotten to the core, but I don't think he's as bad as his two lapdogs.
  7. Well here it is now, I got it and I still won't touch it until I finish Conquest, I've already finished Birthright, and I wanna go out with what I hear is pretty much the best ending. I can't wait to get there.
  8. I didn't know the Arbiter's Grounds were a favorite, it's my favorite as well. I always had a soft spot for it, great boss despite being so easy, the atmosphere's great, I liked the non-linear progression of it, I liked the puzzles, I liked everything really. As for Twilight Princess HD I haven't bought it and I dunno if I want to. I'll keep playing Fates until I get bored and maybe then I'll grab it, but I have a lot of games on my backburner so I dunno if I'll buy it then actually.
  9. Oh yeah it's Azura's birthday, it popped up in game too. Happy Birthday my dear fictional wife.
  10. Before I give you my opinion I must say this is a good analogy, and I LOVE One Punch Man, such a fantastic anime unlike any other. Now about Persona 4's story, I wanted to respond to your Persona 3 topic but I forgot to, basically I agree with both you and Radiant Head. I think Persona 4 has a much better pace than Persona 3, and the characters were more likable for me. I mean I like Persona 3's characters and I even mentioned that in my review, but none of them really got stuck in my head save for Akihiko and Aigis. I think Persona 4 has absolutely incredible atmosphere and similarly to what Water Mage and Radiant head stated, I think the "Anime BS" actually added to the experience too, look I don't like it as much as you, and I'm not a fan of typical anime tropes unless they're well done, but I think the game would've been worse without those moments. Extra Credits talks about Differences in Kind in this video and I think it's great for analysts and/or game designers to understand why developers sometimes put moments in a game that seem pointless at times. One thing I particularly like about the game is how when you play through it a second time and analyse it you can notice that the game had clues about Adachi if you look carefully. It's a sign that the writers really put some thought into this, and it didn't feel forced like I was expecting it to be. Overall I mostly agree with you, I like Persona 3 a lot but I think 4 is definitely the superior game, it has its faults which I'm hoping Persona 5 fixes but otherwise it stands as a masterpiece for me.
  11. It depends, every game company has different ways of doing it but yeah it's usually like 1 to 2 weeks.
  12. My opinion of your opinion is inside this spoiler tag. OPINIONCEPTION! That's all of what I think, you should play Xenoblade Chronicles it's my personal favorite Wii game and one of my favorite games of all time, definitely top 3 material.

Yeah I love it, I finished Stardust Crusaders a few weeks ago, looking forward to Diamond Is Unbreakable.
  15. That, I figure he's only allowed to die the way he's fated to die like Grima explained, but THEN he didn't know that he was fated to die in THAT way. After he gets fooled.
  16. Yeah what Doofina said, if you get into game development you can see how hellish some alternatives can be to create. They would never do that I'm sorry to let you know, it would hurt their business plan with creating DLC characters. Pretty much, I can tell that part of what makes the customers want to play the DLC characters is also out of curiosity, it's a risk especially since they may never want to touch that character again after trying.
  17. Excellent, I hope you enjoy them all, though I personally haven't played Trails in the Sky.
  18. Banned for being Silver Chariot as his stand.
