    I have a limited number of "permanent event IDs" to work with, which are the basis of the achievements, pairing options, bonus content, and tracking each tale being cleared. Mostly, I referenced the paired endings from FE7 (with a few liberties taken). Vaida and Florina do not have pairing options.

    Hey, I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying yourself playing EN! People like you are what make all of the bug-testing worthwhile though, LOL. I have been spearheading this effort for several years now, but I sincerely appreciate that you've thanked all of "the people who made this hack possible", because this hack would not be possible without the amazing team effort that's gone into its creation. The public releases that are available, I'm sure, have a few horrible bugs in them. I would strongly encourage you to wait a bit longer for the definitive release, as a final (glitch-less) version will be coming soon to an emulator near you! #MakeENGreatAgain

    We're going to build a wall around the entire oceanic border of Elibe, and we're going to make the Magveliens pay for it! I can't disclose how I'll make them pay for it publicly, because that would ruin our leverage, but they will pay. Believe me! We're also going to destroy the radical terrorist group known as "the Ylissians", and we're going to do it quickly. Believe me! We're going to rebuild our disastrous military, we're going to make sure that each and every soldier is armed with a divine weapon. We're gonna do it! And when we do, we're going to win so much that we'll get tired of winning!

    Just letting people know that the closed "gamma testing" phase has begun and that I've started working on the project again as of today. Hoping to have something ready in time for FEE3 (even if it's just an "open gamma test" release). Special thanks to all of the homies who are helping me out with the bug zapping/polishing phase (y'all know who you are, so thanks for being awesome peeps). It's time to #MakeENGreatAgain.

    I'm pretty sure that I modified that so that Canas has priority to find the items (like the boost that a Thief/Rogue would get with desert items). If not, that's something that I intend to do in the final draft. The Playing Card allows you to access a Secret Shop, Silver Card (if it's there, I don't even remember) just cuts prices in half. The achievement hint for "King of Hearts" tells you to "return the king to his castle" or something to that effect.

  19. It's interesting that SF's wizarding requests are mostly based on FE5 mechanics. Definitely a pleasant surprise, since I was half expecting someone to have requested S-rank supports by now. Anyways, Fatigue is an awesome mechanic when it's properly designed around. You have to tailor the progression and cast composition to accommodate for the extra layer of challenge, but it the forced party rotation aspect is something that I've always appreciated from a design perspective. I jotted down some thoughts on implementing Fatigue a while back, but my concept for the display would likely be difficult to implement. Some sort of gauge would be appreciated--I felt that Thracia displaying only the fatigue count made it somewhat difficult to track (that, and piss poor menu translation in the incomplete FE5 English patch). Capture is also pretty legit when implemented properly. Fates had an interesting take on it, which basically amounted to "free extra units". It was cool, don't get me wrong--FE5's was infinitely better, though. The game's item distribution was designed with Capture in mind, making it essential to maintaining a steady supply of weapons. FE5's shops overpriced items, too. TRS shields are also pretty neat. In GBA, it would probably be optimal to just grant a passive stat boost (ala venno's hack) come up with a way to -1 use to the shield for each hit the unit takes (unless whoever suggested that wanted you to develop an "equipped item" system, in which case RIP). Gaiden also had shields, but if I recall correctly there was no durability attached to them in FE2. Good work on Dismount too, CC! I think others have suggested it, but if you wanted to take that mechanic a step further you could implement FE3-style Dragonstones where the Manakete actually transform into alternate dragon classes for a few turns before shifting back into human form. Perhaps that could be implemented as a status effect? Coincidentally, TRS handles dragon mechanics the exact same way.

While we're on the topic of policy changes, I'd argue that "don't dissent in public" is the first "rule" that needs to be scrapped, lol.Unless the goal is to minimize the role of public opinion, there's no real reason why users shouldn't be allowed to discuss rules and make suggestions openly.
