  1. after a few runs on lunatic i found it to be "easier" not saying it was easy even after a few runs but your mind kind shifts gears i guess you can say. now i still struggle on lunatic+ and have only beaten it once. my tip is to go and watch a few playthroughs and look at how people plan/take notes or you can figure it out for yourself its your call.
  2. you may have just missed this but you can click * here * to see the pairing thread which will basically answer any of your pairing questions.
  3. well this wasn't that hard of a vote for me.... lol
  4. hmmm so what is the most optimized paring for parents then.... because i see so much conflicting stuff ive read a good bit of the end pages here and i see so much of "this and that" anyone feel like posting their optimized pair?
  5. are you doing this as a from scratch or from a post game point?
  6. hmmm I've read around 30 pages and so far I'm seeing a lot of anti chrom x (f)mu based on the fact that morgan will lose some overall stats....but with chrim being that S pairing couldn't that make up for the overall stat loss? idk just thinking out loud... feel free to tear me a new one if you disagree
  7. been saying the mode is meant for less stress and casual plays......but i'm speaking latin I guess. goodluck with this group...
  8. 1) that would be a horrible business move (yes this is a joke) 2) no i'm not trolling just pointing out real world things money speaks plain and simple. and also the institution of nonperm-death crossed no lines it just made the game better for CASUAL play. why am I even still here...
  9. I do believe i'm not the only one repeating points. And i would have respect if there was a single valid point other than "intent or art".
  10. here let me tell you the intent: MAKE MONEY.
  11. yes, why bring something that would help encourage growth to a series that was almost over due to a lack of sales......the audacity. and don't go on to say "do you really think it helped that much?" Yes, I do believe it helped more than any of us know or ever will know, because obviously the game formula was lacking something.....but this one got it right in every single way from a Financial standpoint
  12. thats how..... your words not mine. And to irysa: you are making a huge jump by assuming that this ruins the feeling..... for some people it may make the story feel even better, because there is less stress involved with each decision. To be honest there is no real reason why it shouldn't be brought back.... I mean unless you just want to feel like an elitist and punish people who aren't as good as you.... which is basically how you come across when you are saying " no don't bring back an easy mode" but as Einstein said: "Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience"No valid reason why they shouldn't bring it back......but what does it matter because they will bring it back regardless of what anyone on this site says or feels.
  13. But why? why do you want to punish people who struggle with a game and want to have fun in their own way? like I really just don't understand the hatred for players who use casual...it's not like anyone is forcing you to use it as well?
  14. First off- I am not picking on you, but you do provide the best example for the points I am about to make. while you are entitled to your own opinion as you should be, why do you even feel the perm-death should have any effect on you game? If it is not a mandatory setting (which we all know it won't be). I understand that you feel that difficulty isn't a core value but perm-death is but that in and of it self is a contradiction. perm-death increases any difficulty because it makes all of your choice matter and have consequence, therefore difficult and perm-death are one and the same. on the topic of tolerance for a GAME. as i said above don't take this personal, but just because you feel a game mode with a non permanent death shouldn't exist doesn't make you right. The series is expanding and trying to grow, which as a fan should make you happy. This casual mode is not going to be forced upon anyone here...let me restate that CASUAL WILL NOT BE FORCED UPON ANYONE , So what does it matter if it is put into the game to help new people to the franchise? What does it matter if people can't beat the game without it? That is THEIR choice and it will in no way shape or form effect your gameplay. and with that i shall leave you with this quote “A mind set in its ways is wasted. Don't do it.”
  15. meh.... i liked both....but then the optimization can be hell....but that's all part of a strat. game. A lot of vets don't like change, but lets be honest fire emblem was about to be canceled and this game brought it back.... so as much as vets may not like it, you just have to accept that it is a game made for everyone and not just the hardcore fans. with all of this being said i support both of the options... its a nice spin on things... and maybe they should allow more freedom with "robin". ex: letting us choose dialogue.
