Honestly I'm kind of meh, on the re-release
It's nice that it's there, just not worth the price per year
-
A movie is really unlikely, plus I think the show format is better for telling stories
I can see them doing an adaptation of Awakening
-
Welcome to the forest!
-
I'm starting Hard Classic
Think it'll be a good challenge, I'm not expecting the story to be great but maybe it'll be as fun as Fates Conquest campaign
-
I've always thought unplanned prequels can work in general, but I don't think there's enough fluff to build on
-
I thought they already closed the eshop
Not much I can really add to the conversation, though I will say that the Awakening DLC is the least important and the Fates DLC should be priority, while Echoes is pretty important to get but not essential.

Well if that's the starting point, why not have female units tied to sons and male units tied to daughters like is typical of avatars?
From a game play point thats fine
But,
Then you'd have to account for siblings and cousins, and that's just going to be more and more writing I feel that the writer's will get tired and half-ass it
Like I said, I think child units in Fates took away from the core game. I think the relationships of the current and present cast could be explored more than having every male character have a C-S support for every female character and vise versa
For simplicity sake I think they should be tied to 1 gender in it's respective game so it's not too overwhelming in design and for the players
edit: I play a lot more tabletop games and am working on one, complexity creep is a thing and can make games hard to design and play
-
I'm going to throw this out first
Child units were a waste of resources in Fates, and that should have been put into the main game and same sex supports. (like seriously, so many supports were so just boring so you could get child units(
Rant over
Considering that we exist in a patriarchal social environment that mother/son relationships aren't explored as much in media from what I've seen and have been exposed of through media. Just because that's something I think is lacking in any media
So I agree that they should be tied in with their mothers
(But I don't want to see child units again for a long time, becauseI feel it takes away from the game)

I did it once without any guides and it was a pain
The easiest way is to block Slade with someone who won't kill him, but can consistently get him to below 50%hp so he automatically retreats and you can work on chipping the main boss

I mean I used to slip my math teachers a couple of $20s to pass my class and I do ok at playing FE
most of the math is done for you, so it's not super intense, unless you're playing anything from FE5 and back

I would have loved some Streets Of Rage
Pretty much the entire OST of Metal Gear Rising
Castlevania is hard to ask for more with how good it was, but I'd have loved this track

Can't say much of the early part of the 00's since I was super young
But it was weird, some of my earlier memories of being a kid were about 9/11 and hearing about the Iraq war
It was kind of cool to watch how technology rapidly changed going from flip phones to smart phones, land lines disappearing, this new thing called Netflix, and how much the internet changed. I remember a viral video on YouTube was 100,000 views and a million if it was big.
Phones books and phone booths being phased out
We knew what memes were without knowing what a meme was (I remember in school if someone yelled "HILLSHIRE FARMS" a bunch of us would yell back "Go Meat!")
The best way I'd sum it up was a rapid change in technology and how the internet changed socialization
And the great recession of 08

Eh, I don't really consider this a series that you can 100% outside of getting all the supports

last time I actually saw cable TV was when I went to my aunt's for Thanksgiving
sometimes it's on in the background at my fire station, but I don't really watchHaving all the streaming services is about as expensive as cable, but getting to watch when I want without ads has done in cable TV
Early 2014 was the last time I actually watched TV, but I think the over abundance of reality TV is what actually pushed people over to Netflix and other services
like so much of that was just irritating to watch,
and so many other shows were just bland and boringand I think YouTube played a major hand in that since people could find a niche topic that wasn't on TV and have something they really liked
they were cheaper to produce and quicker to get out
why spend your two hours watching an hour of ads and a boring show when you could watch that really specific topic on YT -
definitely one of my favorite games in the series
probably one of the best examples of a game that needed a remake, and that got one
(looking at you Last Of Us Part 1) -
You could be a type of a pan/ace
Like this is something I found out about myself in recent times
I experience attraction, I just don't have "that" urge
-
I keep The Simpsons on in the background if I'm not doing anything
I recently watched Inside Job on Netflix, it was a really fun show making fun of conspiracy theories
-
I'm not too surprised that the in person event was canceled
I figured they'd go to just a long prerecorded video
-
I can sympathize with you, I used to have several body image issues in comparing myself to others. I tried improving myself, working out and loosing over 100lbs, and I still hated how I looked
Then I attempted drag one day and realized that I didn't hate how I looked, I loved looking feminine. That's when I realized I had dysphoria.

I think 11/22/63 had a really unique way of doing time travel
Where the bigger of a change you try to make in the past, the harder the past tries to fight you. It's doable, but you have to fight the past trying to stop you
Like moving a cup won't do much, but trying to change a major event will

If you zoom in close enough you can do it in MS paint
That's how I make half of my memes

But the moral of the story is don't let your parents shop for you and that I need an less expensive hobby.
lol, wait till my parents find out how expensive my 40K stuff is

TBH, from what I've seen the game runs poorly on the 3DS
It can turn into a slideshow at times from what I've seen
Which FEs have the best and worst character design, in your opinion?
in General Fire Emblem
Posted
Yeah, I'm in the camp that dislikes Engage's character designs too
Honestly I think they look a bit to "generic", none of them pop out to me as iconic FE characters
(And honestly if you threw them in Xenoblade I don't think they'd look too out of place)
Best IMO is Genealogy, I'm a sucker for water color art, even tho I'm not a fan of Genealogy either
