Usually there are already initial stat variations for 5* chars discovered, even if you cant change your 4* into 5* right now you just need to level the unit to 20 and "try" to unlock potential to know what stats it will have at lvl 1 5*, there are also some for 4* to compare, just google your unit and see some pages with how their inital stats should be depending on their lvl 1. For example I was hunting for a Roy with +SPD and a Bane in -DEF, Roy can have 8/9/10 SPD at level 1 5*,obviously 8 is a bane, 9 a mid and 10 is the boon, I usually see paged like rankedboost or gamepress, which altough have some inconsistencies and not so great reviews for chars(I read there that Takumi's Special Skill was worthless, that is how much their reviews suck to an extent), it still has some initial stat variations which help a lot to see if your unit is worth it or not. And believe me I got a -ATK Camilla and its damage was very bad, like there are some Robin variations that it doesnt OHKO. It depends on the unit since there are some that get more fucked than others, like Healers usually dont care, but offensive units or defensive ones that need to aim for a speed benchmark or OHKO or 2OHKO some units, I got blesses with Roy,Lilina and Takumi since they have perfect natures for what they need.

  3. I would vote for a green unit so Fae, Cecilia or Camilla, but do ir after knowing if they have a good stat spread, because if for example your Camilla is a -ATK then I would ditch her.
  4. Well that is usually what I do, since sometimes you are missing like a certain color or just want a particular unit that badly, it will usually be 1 unit less per summon but since you are aiming for the same color the chances for getting the unit that you want are obviously better.
  5. Dont merge them until you know who has the best boon and bane though, then merge everyone to him.

Still it should be better, also worth of noting is that I am using Roy for killing Robins since my Camilla turned out to have a crappy -ATK bane, Roy can take a hit from Robin, his seal activates, next turn I attack him(and since my roy is +SPD it doubles unless he is also +SPD) and then kill with Lilina or use Takumi to set up a Revenge next turn(Takumi attacks, receives a hit from Robin and drops to like 5 HP, then kill, so Robin is out and next turn I can kill something with Takumi). Also Shove is good against things like Effie, for example in my case my Lilina 2OHKOes all the effies I think(since she has a + ATK and FCorrin boost if I need it), so I attack with her, then use Shove to be out of range of Effie and kill next turn, Takumi also works. Currently have like 28 matches won in a row with Roy,Lilina,Takumi andFCorrin(used to be Camilla but I dont need her for Blue units anymore and the boost help me one shot Takumis with Lilina).
  7. Yeah just realized it after i posted it, lol. Julia and Ephraim seem pretty cool. Wtf Julia can have the +2 Res/Def and also bonus against dragons? Nintendo needs to do some justice for Roy.

Believe I also hate how obviously they wanted to make things like Ryoma OP and Roy just a one trick pony(best counter to greens and an ok match for other lords), like Raijinto having the ability to counter everything, Falchions recovering HP and dealing bonus damage to Dragons, and Roy getting that +2 Def/Res crap, if it was at least a +5. On the good side there seems to be an incoming new version of Roy so it maybe gets something good, but seriously it appears that in EVERY entry of any game Roy appears it needs to be below the other lords.

  11. Well Palla is Red... Use a green unit for baiting it or an Archer/Ninja and have someone that increases RES, usually i bait it, kill with archer, refresh with Olivia to get Archer/Ninja out of range and kill the others. Is not that hard when you know the map tbh.
  12. Has anyone noticed that the winners of "Choose Your Legends" coincidentally are 4 and also that Seriph and company are also 4, and it seems the seasons are focused on 2 character pools... maybe, just MAYBE they are going to be the next Summoning Focus.
  13. -ATK Camilla is incredibly bad, since you cannot kill anything outside of blue units, believe I have one in my main account and it sucks, definitely go for a +ATK for Brave Users

Well Roy has been doing work for me, not Takumi level but the thing is that it helps Takumi to not get overpressured since sometimes you need to kill Camilla/Hector and a Red Lord in a turn, Roy usually tanks all the Red Lords(this depends on boons and banes) and things like Tiki and then kill next turn, Shove also helps when you need to get out of range things like Camilla and Takumi or give them an extra square, Roy also benefits much more from the Speed debuff from Takumi than Tiki, since with a boon in Speed nothing can double him and in return it doubles a good amount of things, like other Takumis for example. I am not saying Roy is better than Tiki, but it is better for me as a teammate for Takumi than Tiki since it does much more for him than Tiki. I agree with the final team mainly because Lilina and Roy are 4*, still a colorful team is always good, in the end is a matter of what you like I guess.

Well Roy blends better with Takumi since that Def Debuff helps Takumi against bulky units to kill from afar, Young Tiki also is tricky because its ability recovers health which goea against Takumi's special. I just noticed he is using the exact same team as me, lol. I like Roy,Lilina,Takumi and Camilla line up, still it hurts that some are 4* instead of 5*, they blend well together since is easier to position them because they are 2 long range and 2 short, and they blend well in general, Roy debuffs for Takumi, Camilla and himself, Lilina nukes things like other Takumis while giving attack boost to teammates and also providing Magic damage, Takumi is broken, and Camilla kills Blue units, mainly Robin and Linde for the team. You could also go for Abel,Tiki,Camilla and Takumi, a pretty balanced team of pure 5*.
  16. I am guessing they will pull out something like buying Skills with Orbs and a character learning it through SP.

I was thinking maybe there will be additional skills to get with those SP, especially since a lot of characters have artwork of using Special skills but dont use it, and also because there are 3 types of passive skills (A,B,C), since at most units get 2 of them there is no real reason to have 3 spots, is just me guessing though.
  18. I have one 5* , it doesnt have fire effects sadly, but I am curious as to when that picture is used(the one with fire effects), since as of now have not seen it being used.
  19. I have just noticed that there is some artwork in the character screen that i dont recall being used inbattle, for example there is a picture of roy attacking but with some added flame effects, is there a moment where the picture is used as in battle?

  21. Lilina can one shot some variants of Takumi, though she needs a boon in attack, I usually deal with him with Roy and my own Takumi lol.
  22. Now I understand why my Camilla is lacking in damage, it seems it will max at 34. On the other hand I have a +SPD Takumi to celebrate.
  23. 5* Roy lvl 37 5* Lilina lvl 38 5*Takumi lvl 40 5*Camilla lvl 34/ 4* FeCorrin lvl 30 My Camilla turned to have very low attack it has 32 at lvl 34... still helps with blue units for the team mainly Robin. Roy turned pretty great it has 45 attack and can kill anything 1 vs 1 bar blue units, combos pretty great with Takumi Takumi is god, like serously 46 attack with 36 speed, with Roy debuffs in defense and Takumi in speed is pretty good. Lilina is amazing, kills bulky units like no other, 54 attack is amazing, has a passive that gives extra 4 damage, godlike Special AOE. FeCorrin is when the chapter has too mang bulky unuts and red ones.
