Lightning/ Snake Spirit are great choices, Snake Spirit effect can be bypassed somewhat with lances, Horse scroll is good for no drawbacks,also Guard Naginata can be used, Selena gives a +5 DEF mod on top of the Guard Naginata's +5, Killer Lance could be used in the turn your MAG is halved. In regards of skills it is somewhat dependant on how you want to play her, as a Galeforce unit things like Certain Blow, Darting Blow, Extravagance and Replicate are incredible, if you want to play her in a Nohrian trust build you could put her with Asugi, since it gives her SPD which is the stat she most desires, with skills like Dragon Fang, Ignis, Aether, etc.

You could change Camilla into a Wyvern Lord so when she gets level 5 she gets Rally Defense, that helped me a lot so I could tank with Xander with Laslow on the right and Ryouma and the Avatar with Camilla's rally. Also abusing Sakura and Elise skills can be important here, My male avatar with a Rinkah pair up and being in range of Felicia(her personal skill and Demoiselle, Jakob for a Female Avatar) and Sakura +4 Defense of Rally Defense did the job pretty well. MU, Xander and Ryouma are usually going to be your main offensive units with pair ups that boost DEF, have 2-3 healers(Sakura, Elise, Jakob/Felicia), Azura for refreshing and the rest focused on cleaning weakened units if Ryouma, Xander and MU did not.

Selena!Caeldori is bad for maingame compared to other children, but for PVP her mods are usable, she really shines as a mixed unit, classes that their brave weapons cut STR in half coupled with magical weapons(Soldier Knife w/Flame Shuriken/Leo's Coldsword) or classes that can use physical weapons and tomes since that lets her get the most of her personal skill which is the main niche she has over the other kids. Master Ninja Caeldori is pretty good, her personal skill somewhat shines here because it will proc almost always. Dark Falcon Caeldori is also incredible, Selena does not lower her MAG cap and also gives her SPD mod, though her personal skill will not be proccing a lot with tomes it will do with lances. Tough for maingame Oboro and Hinoka are much better choices overall.

  5. Rinkah!Shiro is great because Rinkah is the best pair up bot for Ryouma and Mozu!Sophie is also good.
  6. I think aside from Braves forging weapon to around +3 is acceptable, but for a quick ban is better to start with no forging so we can gradually adjust. I would add Warp, but overall that is a great way to start. Also using a chatroom and organizing some matches even without a tournament would also help, gonna need to get my team ready. That is because the meta is only offensive focused, without forging tanking becomes viable and Lethality just screws over strategies because of how dependant on the RNG it is, it reminds me of Drill Horn/Fissure/Sheer Cold moves in pokemon.
  7. I like the idea. I think focusing on Revelations mostly for the meta is the best idea since it would be too restrictive to adjust Revelations/Birthright against Conquest. Statues are not the problem, since it allows more character customization, the problem is since that offensive is much more efficient than tanking usually there are no variations in the type of statues, if we take out the real bothersome things(Forging and Braves mostly) I think statues can contribute to add more dept to the meta, especially since tanking sets become usable instead of being just gimmicks, that way you could get screwed up if you focus on SPD statues mostly and go against a Wary Fighter team. Unique Weapons aside from Yato are not that broken, especially since when capped a lot of the children have similar if not better stats than, IMO Kanna is the only thing that comes close to being too MU in brokeness. Also I would be in favor to ban MU and Kanna if it were not for their dragon weakness, in a no brave/forging meta Wyrmslayers and Dragon Spirits will be more common IMO, they will be a high risk high reward unit. I think Rainbow Tonics are fair game since they consume a turn, Battle Emblem would be fine on a no MU/Kana unit. We should focus in how to make more styles playable instead of just banning everything, but there needs to be a tournament or something for testing, since even in Pokemon theorizing over something most of the time does not work until proven, especially regarding what is broken and not since that is subjective to how the meta develops. Also Limit Mode is a no go as said previously, since it has more randomness unlike a capped meta where stats are more about planning and less about relying on the the RNG. So the big question is, when can we begin? I am actually excited about doing something like this, seems much more fun than going on a random battle against someone with 5 Omega Yatos forged.

  11. I picked #blametakumi mostly because for some reason it feels like the type of character you love to hate. Aside from that I think it is pretty ridiculous to say that he is a bad unit, the dude just smashes through everything the moment he joins, no reclassing or babysitting needed, saying that Azama or Setsuna outclass him as an archer is absurd.
  12. You should be wondering why he did not kill her or use her as a hostage to force Corrin to surrender instead of criticizing him IMO. You want to apply real world logic ingame? fine, what would you do if your long lost little brother that you love betrays you and threatens you without giving you a proper explanation? and that happens exactly when your step-mother just died in front of you and you need to inherit a country since you are the new heir and also need to stop an incoming invasion. Like I am far more surprised that Ryouma did not go insane instead of not helping an enemy, with all the things he needed to take care at the moment I think it is pretty obvious that you cannot be helping a potential threat.
  13. I think Mozu passing down Aptitude is not relevant when you can buy the skill, especially in Birthright since the game basically throws gold at your units. The thing about Rinkah is altough she does not give the best Shiro it is one of the best if not the best pair up for Ryoma(in Revelations Rinkah is the best without doubt,here is not that godly because she cannot be a Zerk.) , also Rinkah!Shiro turns into a pretty great tank for ingame, I used to do Kagero x Ryoma but Shiro just turns into a slightly weaker Ryoma without Raijinto.

Tought I was the the only one that agreed with Micaiah, she is one of my favorite characters because she does what is needed instead of just complaining all day why she should fight and kill, alongside not being a crybaby, unlike a certain main avatar protagonist. Regarding that I think Kamui's actions are much more questionable than Ryouma's. Also this is a game were you can turn into a dragon, fly in a pegasus, use magic, travel in time and use interdimensional portals, like, why the hell would someone think this game can be logical?

I would suggest a +SPD - DEF Master Ninja, you gain access to Brave Knife alongside using Omega Yato, you can ORKO Ryouma's and other MUs online(since almost all of time they will be using Swords), without a + SPD you cannot outrun a capped Ryouma,other MUs,etc. having a +SPD gives you also an extra SPD statue, which means you are really having a +5 SPD. It also lets you comfortably kill magic units, since with a 37 RES cap and Weapon advantage you are going to have a field day against them. This has been my favorite set since I used it, Omega Yato is useful here unlike in other classes where it gets overshadowed by a Brave Sword, you can double anything from afar, debuff, kill, is so much fun.

Actually Kana's skill is somewhat useful when you are in Hoshido Noble class, you can use staffs while equipped with dragonstone+ so you can tank some hits alongside supporting, I use it mainly for debuffing with Dragonic Hex, so yeah, limited but still can be put into work. Now Pecebringer and Divine Retribution are the worst imo, since even Dwyer's can still be useful for My Castle, but Peacebringer helps your enemies and Divine Retribution has literally zero use for Asama.
  19. In Awakening you can have all children an marry whoever you want, it does not matter if you choose FeMU or MaMU.

I dont get the hype about sorc doing a x4 Lightning on someone when the class cannot double anything, the same as why say Master Ninja sucks when it can double everything and talk about the defense being low when the only relevant way to tank is to avoid(which master ninja can do comfortably having 2 weapons to work around some breaker skills, and having inherent 35 max SPD). Like Witch is just better than Sorc just for the extra speed, that is without the fact that Countermagic and Tomebreaker are seen everywhere. I am planning to use Awakening with some shennanigans, basically attacking with the weapon that lowers your HP by 30% use Azura , use the weapon again to get to 40%,kill and proc Galeforce, kill another unit with a brave, with Lucky Seven and Awakening I have 50% of avoid there, I have not tested it but since is easy to one round everything I think is better to focus on having that extra avoid, maybe use it with a Master Ninja+ Vantage so even if I die I can lower stats of a couple of units.

Rend Heaven is kind of a mixed bag, I prefer to use it as a standalone skill, but when going for proc stacking I tend to go for other ones since the difference in activation rate is much less in terms of percentage and IMO does not compensate for the difference in damage. In regards of Hoshidan Unity is actually more useful than RFK here since that 10% is much more noticeable because you have less max stats and proc stacking being more useful here since unlike Awakening where the most was 3(since Galeforce+Limit Breaker is staple in an optimized set) you usually can stack around 6 skills thanks to Nohrian trust. Quixotic is pretty good for an offensive unit, I dont know why someone would think otherwise when it gives you the ability to get through breaker skills and have a better proc rate, though of course is not useful on a breaker set. Note: Regarding Rightful King Lucina, and Chrom were the best users out of there, Chrom did not have access to Galeforce and Lucina did not have access to Aggressor so they could fit very well it in a skill set, Assasin Lucina LB+Galeforce+Aether+Luna+RFK was a great set since it let her get around 98%~ with pair up,rallies and tonics; I just wanted to point this out since people tend to ride a bandwagon saying that some skills suck without testing them. Also Lucky Seven+Quixotic could work against a breaker set, maybe Awakening could be useful there also against breaker sets.
  22. Kinda agree, I like like 5-6 kids (Shiro, Velouria, Asugi, Caeldori, Ophelia, Kanna), then it would Nina,Selkie, Soleil(only design wise), all the others are like crap.

As you may guess this thread is about posting the most common benchmarks, the importance of this is so you can know how much SPD you need to be aiming for doubling a particular build(or to not be doubled), how much STR/MAG do you need to kill, or even in the case of the defensive sets how much of RES/DEF you should have. This particular thread is made with the mindset that you have every stat capped with all the statues build in the corresponding stat. The following example is regarding SPD, keep in mind that is unnecessary for comparisons to add the +11 from the statues when comparing this stat because your opponent is going to have also +11 which would make no difference, that is unless you go for a boon/bane of SPD which would add another +1, since not all MU have the same boon/bane (for obvious reasons) this could make a difference since in the case another player use a boon/bane of SPD would mean all of your opponents units will have a +1 SPD, so in the case of comparing to another build do that with the mindset that they have a +1 in that particular stat, in this case SPD. I began thinking in this when I was doing my pairings and was going to do a +STR / -DEF Master Ninja build, as you may know this one is a somewhat popular choice, but when I was comparing to other popular units like Ryouma or Charlotte!Velouria I realized that I still needed more SPD. As we know Master Ninja has 35 SPD, if we add Omega Yato that leaves us with 39, and dependant if we are holding Soldier's Knife, Omega Yato or a Shuriken, the speed can remain the same, go to +1 or to +2 respectively which would be: 39(+11) Soldier's Knife equipped 40(+11) Omega Yato equipped 41(+11) Flame Shuriken/ Other Shuriken equipped Now lets compare it to Swordmaster Ryouma equipped with Raijinto: 35 from Swordmaster + 1 from personal MOD + 1 Katana/Raijinto = 37(+11) Since the most you can get is 41 this means you cannot double him. Now lets see the case of Zerker Charlotte!Velouria: She has 35(+11) this means that you can double her with Omega Yato and Flame Shuriken, this could be enough since with Omega Yato you have W Triangle advantage, the problem comes if your opponent has a SPD boon/bane that would leave her at 35(+12), which would leave you unable to double her with Omega Yato, and altough Shurikens are not bad it would make you lose in Weapon Triangle( as opposite from winning with Yato). Now lets see if we have a +SPD / -DEF, we gain +4 with the Boon and also an extra +1 with the MU statue, that leaves us with: 43(+12) Soldier Knife 44(+12) Omega Yato 45 (+12) Shuriken Comparable to a Swordmaster Ryouma 37(+12) This means that we are able to use the Soldier Knife to inflict x4 hits on Ryouma, which means more proc rate and overall damage. Remember that Tonics, Rallies, and Emblems work both ways, so regarding SPD they are a mood point. Pairings are also mostly a mood point , but they can actually vary slightly in the case of MU and Kana because of his/her boon/bane.
  24. Does anyone knows if Quixotic lets you have more hit rate with Staffs? I am unsure and I want it to know for a build I want. And if you have Kunaibreaker and the enemy has a Kunai equipped do you gain the +50 hit?
  25. Darting Blow or Speedtaker could work also, or have a pairup Ninja/Berserker. I am not fond for that on a vanguard set, I would go for -Luck, you lose a point in strength but is better than 4 in defense for a tanking class.
