  1. How about this guys. Zero/Shara and Kamui marry. They adopt a/two kid(s). Who look exactly like Kanna (and Eponine), have the same personality, and the same names, but aren't the Kanna (or Eponine) any of the other partners could have given birth to. Just like Camilla's children wouldn't be the same as Nyx's, but nearly identical. Considering that a single parent change should have a huge impact on a kid's biology, but really doesn't, I don't see how adopting a child that looks exactly like other 20 kids you could have that are nearly identical to each other is any more illogical than what we already have. There! Problem solved. In this case, their children get their growths and bases and classes and whatever based on their fathers/mothers. And Kanna just takes the role of "random manakete kid you found lying around and joins you", just like Nowi, Myrrh and Fa before him/her. (and, y'know, if you think that's so terribly illogical you can just not marry them. or not do the paralogues if you do marry them. Just saying,)
  2. But it doesn't defeat the purpose of having children because...? Also which models would that be? You're thinking they should've created new characters to be adopted? I don't get the special treatment. Really, all they had to do was put in Kanna and Eponine, and instead of them being biological children, they were adopted. (Or conceived magically or through a surrogate mother, I don't care). If this is like Awakening the supports are also the same for the parents, with very few lines changing. There's really no excuse. I also don't get how people think it'd be OUTRAGEOUS if Kanna was adopted because (s)he is also a half-dragon and "what are the chances"?? Well, I guess the same chances as finding Nowi, Fa, Myrrh... except this time they were kids. and you adopted them. I mean, considering Kanna still looks a lot like a kid, (I don't know their actual age) you could probably just adopt them at that age and skip the time chamber BS.
  3. I think there are other reasons your fetish won't be in the game. The main reason being that homosexuality, while fetishized to many, is many other's identity. It's not just a fetish to us. We don't exist to satisfy other people's fantasies. It's pretty rude to imply that homosexuality is nothing more than a fetish, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're just ignorant and not ill-intentioned Even though it was a big step to have same-sex marriage in the game, it seems that being seen as real people and regular members of society is still a ways to go if same-sex couples can't have kids and people are okay with it because it "isn't biologically possible" in a game where people turn into dragons and create fire from thin air.
  4. I'll probably play as a female in hoshido first, to marry Hinata. My original plan was then playing as a male in Nohr and marrying Zero, but having no kids kinda ruins it, since I wanted to have all the characters available in my first playthrough... it seems that I'll feel forced to marry a female again. (probably Charlotte)
  5. Hey! I'm new to the forums, just got so hyped with the new FE I had to make an account. I actually made a little class tree illustrating some of my ideal choices for classes. I know most of these couldn't happen, but you can always dream, right? First, I'd like a few things from previous FE games back. Light magic, and dark magic as a standalone magic type. Daggers back as a weapon type (with throwing daggers included), and also crossbows becoming a separate weapon type from bows. Split promotions are back, and so is LIMITED reclassing... I like it better when each character is limited to a few option, unlike FE11. Also, no genderlocking. Male peg knights! Female berserkers! Equality! Also, I'd like some classes to fit the weapon-boosting skills ideal, that is, only be able to use that weapon type and being on foot. So I put in my class tree a new mage promotion, that uses only tomes and no staves for tomefaire, and halberdiers are back for lancefaire. I'd like rogues back... so I made thieves be able to promote to rogues and tricksters, and made a new class that promotes to assassin and rogue... the difference is basically thieves can steal and use knives. the new class uses swords. Both can undo locks. I'd like pirates to be back too, and to have a promotion exclusive to them, maybe getting a skill that allows them to walk over water? I'm thinking of the promotion getting crossbows and swords in addition to axes. Also, warriors get crossbows instead of bows. As for the flying units... Peg knights get a choice of adding swords or staves upon promotion. Wyvern riders choose between adding spears or staying with axes only. New griffon rider tree, starts with swords, choose between anima and (cross)bows on promotion As I said, Mages get a new promotion, and get to choose between getting staves or tomefaire. Monks are back, and can promote to Bishop, or a new class that uses swords and light magic. Clerics/priests get to promote to Bishop or war cleric/monk Troubadours get to choose between anima or light magic on promotion. Dark magic users now have two starting classes! Shaman and dark mage. Both get to promote to sorcerer, who gets anima magic. Shaman is able to promote to druid, who gets staves, and dark mage is able to promote to dark Knight, who gets swords and mounts. Bards are back, and use crossbows to defend themselves. Dancers now use daggers. And, that's basically it!
