  1. Yes, Japan in summer 2015. Still no info. I doubt it'll get delayed(well maybe localization will). We saw plenty of what they had already done in the teaser. It has the potential to be big, yes. However, I'm sure that it won't do as well as Awakening if it doesn't get another good advertising campaign. I can, and I pretty much do expect very little info outside of a nintendo direct with a new trailer.
  2. After playing STEAM with my Ike and Marth amiibos, I gotta say - the FE remixes are a nice touch.
  3. Pretty much. Hyrule Warriors has gotten TONS of DLC lately, but IIRC none of it unlocks the Spinner weapon. It's still amiibo-locked. Same with MK8 - no DLC gets you the costumes.
  4. If we could do that, then the Spinner weapon thing in Hyrule Warriors and the Mario Kart 8 costumes would be purchasable already.
  5. Well at least the middle two have happened before. You could choose which axe-wielder you wanted in FE4 2nd gen, and you could choose which mercenary army to ally with in Yarne's paralogue. I'm hoping for a lot of variety in choices. I want to make several different playthroughs for stuff other than eugenics this time.
  6. I wouldn't mind. I'm planning on getting a N3DS soon anyway for Codename STEAM. If it gets amiibo functionality too, that would only be a plus for me since I already planned on buying all the FE amiibos. Not because I felt obligated to, I just like FE enough to buy them.
  7. It's the only figure of Ike there will likely ever be. There's no doubt in the world I would get his amiibo. can I get an RD Ike Figma too pls ty
  8. I think it'd be neat. Obtaining two falchions in SD was bretty fuggin neato.
  9. I'm conflicted. I know WHY it's there and understand why people like it, but it just doesn't feel like Fire Emblem anymore if you choose to play it that way. I love the feeling that death could easily happen if you don't account for something. It's exciting. Of course, Classic mode will always be there, which is great. I just don't know how to say this without it seeming like I'm hating on newbies. My answer is no.
  10. Yeah, I know about the reprint, but I'm also sure that they'll all be bought up by scalpers once again. I mean, Fox got a reprint in December and has slowly been trickling in, but it's still pretty hard to find him. I'm not seeing high numbers for Marth's reprint. I'm just going to play it safe and import one, and should I come across a reprint, I'll buy that one too just to have one in-box for display.
  11. This is the saddest part. Unless you preorder them, you likely won't get them unless you treat their release date like bloody Black Friday and line up outside of the store before opening. There WAS tons of time (a few months IIRC) to preorder an Ike from Gamestop though I guess. Too bad I couldn't get myself a Marth before the whole craze started up. I'll probably import one next paycheck. Oh well.
  12. Yeah the confirmation of the cards threw me off. *eats my own words* I don't like it, though. I collect amiibos for the figures themselves, not really for their in-game functionality. Hopefully they'll still be producing the statues along with the cards, too.
  13. This isn't necessarily what I want to see in If, since we already know some of these aren't in. This is more like a "What I want to see in my FE Game of All Time." Also it's not in any particular order. 1) HD or at least, near-HD. Preferably on console. Just...make it look really nice and try to keep nonsensical weapons like that huge axe from Awakening out. 2) The ability to give orders to(but not directly control) Ally and Other units. Also, if we could bring back a skill like Reinforce form PoR, that'd be incredible. 3) Either full voice acting(As long as it's not "IKE LOOK, UP THERE!" bad) or blinking/talking portraits again. 4) The ability to support with any ONE character, but with support affinities back. I prefer power couples to power triangles. Obviously, if we could get non-generic supports too, that'd be great. 5) RD's Bonus Exp system. Being able to cap stats that won't get capped otherwise was neat and it encouraged you to play smarter and complete other objectives. Speaking of which... 6) Bonus objectives. It's neat to try to accomplish everything the map asks of you. Examples being trying not to kill any of the priests in Palmeni Temple in PoR or trying not to let ANY of your allied units die. It's these extra objectives piling on a small bit of stress that makes them all worthwhile. 7) Complicated recruitments. Xavier. That's all I'm going to say. 8) A good story. I know it's FE, but the whole "Some dude's a terrible person and resurrects the evil dragon thing" is getting a bit old. PoR had my favorite story as far as FE goes, but I don't want a copy of that, either. 9) New Game+ stuff could be neat. Sephiran, Pelleas, Soren, they were all pretty neat stuff to find out about on a second playthrough. Also, transfer bonuses in sequels would be neat, too. 10) Third-tier units. They were neat, but their Occult skills for the most part were just a reskinned Lethality. Seriously though, Marksmen getting 2-3 range was INCREDIBLE. also if we could rebalance archers to make them viable again, that'd be great. There's more I could say, but the topic only asks for 10.
  14. I'm fairly excited. It could go either way for me, but I'd love to know more. It probably won't be my favorite Fire Emblem ever, because it's already failed too many checks of what I wanted to see, but I'll still play it and enjoy it no matter what.
