This is the best bad summon I’ve ever had. Linde is a nice merge, Azura makes me feel less bad for missing Bridal Ninian, and Beruka finishes my currently +9 build. Completely missed the focus units, but no complaints here.

@Kori Thanks! It's two trumpets and a trombone section I can't take credit for the idea though, that goes to the original arranger. @ElectiveToast Thanks, I'm glad to hear it. I don't mean to throw shade, but pretty much all of the popular covers on YouTube are grossly inaccurate...so I am happy to know that you can appreciate my work.

@XRay Thanks for your feedback! Yup, there are two organs playing at the same time, one played normally and the other played una corda (it's possible that those articulations can actually be played simultaneously on a real organ though, I'm not sure). Man, me neither. The past three sound teams have killed it (FE13-15), and this trailer gives me the impression that the streak isn't ending yet.

I made an orchestral arrangement of Reminiscence from FE7 and wanted to share it with you all. I plan on doing a few more songs from FE7, so if you have any requests let me know!

Fueled by hype, I created an arrangement of the awesome music from the trailer and would like to share it with you all. I intended for it to be as true to the original as possible, and I hope you agree. Please enjoy!

Lon'qu (+ATK -RES), BST 211 (w/SSupport) https://imgur.com/a/oFCYwpZ First picture is his base stats including summoner support, and second picture is +6 to all stats, as well as Legendary Ike's earth blessing (+3 HP, +2 ATK). He's easily my favorite character in the series, so I went to great lengths to make Lon'qu my favorite character to use in Heroes too. I've been pulling on banners, praying to get my boy, but I wound up with [Ayra, Fallen Celica, Sigurd, two Lucinas, two Bridal Sanakis (I know, she's not even red), Bridal Tharja, Zelgius, Sword Reinhardt, PoR Ike, two Karlas, and a regular Sanaki] before I miraculously pulled two of him in one go yesterday. It had gotten to a point where I was bitter about getting a +Spd -Res Ayra, but yelled uncontrollably every time he chose to pop up. Now that he's finally done, I'm glad I can sit down and properly appreciate all the units I was blessed with while trying to summon him. Lon'qu's Dinner: Karel (Wo Dao+), Chrom (Aether), Rody (Rally Def/Res), Hector (DC), Nephenee (Wrath), Luke (Panic Ploy) Some Functionality Scenarios (if you're curious): Defending against Reinhardt With Distant Def/Deflect Magic, this Lon'qu can actually survive a Dire Thunder from +ATK Death Blow Reinhardt despite a -RES bane without using any spurs, ally support, blessings, nor defensive tiles. With just +2 attack (from blessing or ally support), Lon'qu actually wins this matchup, surviving the onslaught and KOing Rein in response. Swordbreaker is another story, but this is really impressive to me since I don't think Ayra, Mia, Karla, nor any other infantry swords have the bulk to stand up to Reinhardt like that (correct me if I'm wrong). Defending against Brave Lyn Sacae's blessing unfortunately prevents Lon'qu from retaliating, but his bulk lets him take the Brave Bow hits and start his next turn with only 2 cooldown on a Wo Dao + Wrath Aether left.

I’m a huge Sawano fan and have listened to a lot of his works, and my gut says it isn’t him. I get where you’re coming from though, especially with the drum line and eguitar backing, but the drum-and-bass, dance-feeling track that backs the vocals in the trailer is outside the realm of what Sawano does (as you said, he typically combines electronic instruments with acoustic, rather than having electronic instruments alone). Another thing that’s making me think it isn’t him is the singer: she isn’t Mika Kobayashi (his frequently-appearing and very talented Japanese vocalist), and not Cyua, Tielle, Sayulee, nor Gemie, based on the lack of an accent. Aimee Blackschleger is the only singer in his “band” I know of who speaks English 100% fluently, and the voice in our FE16 trailer isn’t hers. He isn’t known to work with many other singers outside of his usual cast, but it’s totally possible that Sawano simply worked with another singer for this particular song. But looking at the quality of the lyrics, I don’t think that’s the case either. Sawano has almost always stuck with mpi and Benjamin to write his English lyrics, and they end up like this: “In the tavern ‘Armageddon’ ’The horizon’ People were talking of a hunger Many years back I was younger” —From “Layers,” sung by fluent English speaker Aimee Blackschleger Not hating on Sawano, I do think his English vocal tracks sound good if you’re content with listening to the sound of the singing, rather than the lyrics. But the vocals we’ve got in the trailer sound a lot more fluid and lyrical, which is another fact I think would point away from a Sawano-lead soundtrack.

I realized after reading through all I wrote here that I have a lot of complaints about the series...but I just want to say that the reasons why I love FE are way, way more than the issues I have with it. Anyways... Want to say: The side characters are well-integrated into the storyline, instead of disappearing from relevance immediately after recruitment. Rei Kondoh is back on the sound team!!! The plot is poignant and well-written/localized, is this 2003? They thought of a cool way to use the Switch's unique features as a part of the game, instead of just putting it on the Switch for the sake of moving on from the 3DS! This local/online co-op/VS mode is awesome. The FE10 promotion system is back. The marriage system is back, sans children. The game features an FE7-esque avatar again. Don't want to say: This plot makes me want to stop playing... Every gender-compatible support chain ends with marriage again. The playable adult children are back. All the main characters have the same, unfailingly straight-laced and generic personality again. All the side characters are one-dimensional again. Another sword lord. Why is this game easy on the highest difficulty? Release postponed. They haven't been telling us anything because there actually isn't a game yet! Expect to say: Another 3DS-style avatar. W a i f u s How did they make a difficulty level easier than Phoenix? Here's more fun-looking DLC I will never buy... (FE16 character) is going to be some major powercreep in Heroes

I'd just like to share a few simple wallpapers that I've made. If you'd like to show your love for FE but aren't a big fan of wallpapers featuring people (like most every official wallpaper), or just prefer minimalist designs, these might just work for you. All wallpapers are 3840x2400 (proportional to 1920x1200) JPG files (for some reason, exporting as PNG made them really grainy). Please use the links to download, not the attached image previews. If it's your first time playing, I wouldn't recommend going for ranked (unless that's the way you find the game to be most entertaining, then go for it by all means). I personally find it more entertaining to just play at my own pace, build supports, and use my favorite units. If you're interested, here's a team I built based entirely off of characters I like and supports. Beware, possible character spoilers:

Oops, my bad. Nope! No rings used at all (and yeah ik about the ring glitch, it's pretty darn useful). I guess it's just lucky number 7. I had that exact same thought when I saw that conversation... But nah, definitely not the best Eliwood; the guy has yet to break 14 Str.

Oh whoops, apologies for the insanely late reply. Yeah, what Shin said pretty much sums up all of my preexisting concerns when I posted this. I guess I just really wanted to participate in an rtu, since I've been looking at them recently and they seem so chaotic and fun to participate in. It IS my fault for joining sf so late though.

So I was playing HHM again, and Eliwood kept critting at 7%. Here's an MLG video to commemorate Eliwood actually being useful... It's definitely not as ridiculous as what you'll see on YouTube (windows movie maker is quite limited, you know), but I still had fun making it.
