  1. More than discussing, I'm a bit busy taking notes.

Now with an improved playability patch for 20% less lag, 50% more game balance, and more bullshit statistics! Here, have some screenshots! This critically-acclaimed submission has also garnered attention among Youtube's best channels, with over 100 views! Here's what the people had to say about this game! Alright! Now that you're totally convinced to play this game, here's the download link: http://www.mediafire.com/download/qtap7apmng1nigp/Tale+of+Purt.rar Happy raging! Please report any glitches you find throughout your playthrough, in case I get off my lazy ass to fix them. This game is free to play; any money you might have paid to receive this game is not refundable and you deserve to lose it for getting scammed so hard. Time spent playing this game is also nonrefundable. Humor is relative, satisfaction may vary. The characters in this game are completely fictional. None of the characters are related or representative of people in real life, except for Purt, Deuter, Syde, Originul, Marky, Kou, and Bob. This game is not yet rated by the ESRB.
  3. @text in red Not everyone that can analyze/criticize a work can necessarily reproduce it though. An art critic isn't necessarily a masterful painter, but they are versed in color theory, composition, etc. I do think criticizing a work should be followed by constructive advice to show its validity, though.

  5. I can see it now: MJ1990's Ragefest Contest V Submission 36: Dank Meme Hell By RandomSwordmaster [PART 20]
  6. I think we can already find that ourselves given the commentary Marc's given over the course of RF4. Difficulty Gameplay Story/Jokes Music Well, this is my tediously long take on it. Sorry (not really) for the super long post.
  7. HECK YEAH I WAS RELEVANT (in the chat crusade at least)!! :D
  8. Oh geez! What happened to him? Where is he? EDIT: Just finished watching Revengeance Part 3. Badly Aliased John Cena!? More Castlevania music!? Pack it up, guys, this Ragefest is decided.
  9. If it's from before the submission deadline of RF4, it's from before I joined this community so I wouldn't know about it, unfortunately.
  10. Just post it. Spare yourself the pain and give us extra content!!
  11. For something like Revengeance, I think a longer video is better, actually. Considering the whole thing is like one large "make your own adventure" kind of thing with the little sidequests, it seems like a longer video would be more immersive for it, rather than cutting off and coming back to it in parts.
  12. I'm just throwing my metaphorical hat onto the ring here, but maybe it would be better to wait a week or so after the last submission is completed before voting rather than making a reel of all the submissions. If you're worried about recency bias being that much of an issue, perhaps letting the last submission's hype settle a little (hence my suggestion of a week's wait) would help with that. Basically don't make any of them "recent", as opposed to trying to refresh them all with a highlight reel (which has it's own heap of issues). Though this point of view doesn't really help my own submission out too greatly, I think recency bias is a bit par for the course given the style of RF4, and a fair aspect of it. The order in which you played the submissions wasn't totally biased in favor of later submissions, after all. Early submissions had the advantages of having a greater impact during the course of RF4 as well as avoiding the scrutiny of people who saw "previous" submissions. For example, Emblem Warriors made a big impact - at least for me. The fact that it went on early means it likely set a standard, a factor which ought to be pretty beneficial for it in the long run. Having set the standard, it likely isn't coming under very much fire regarding the gameplay (which seems to be very good, nonetheless). Recency bias might be a factor in the final decision, but I think it's really only a valid concern if the final decision is between a very recent submission and a very early one. A "winning" submission wouldn't be one that can't stand a little test of time, in my opinion.
  13. All valid points, but you know what would really seal the deal with knowing if Revengeance will win? A Part 3 video. *cough* Marc *cough*
  14. I think co-commentary is just an all-around dangerous game here, unless it's someone Marc knows pretty well already. But you all already said that It's especially bad if the other person is the creator, since they then have the urge to spoil things/defend weak points of their submission.
