^ Plus I haven't seen this hate as much. Either it's that they are okay, or that they're better. I personally really like them, I think Hoshido is better then Nohr. And that's all that I need. Plus design is very appealing to me.

Awakening has been out for a while and there are a hell of a lot more reviews for it then for Fates so I don't think that's something you should consider too much just yet.

It's terrible. Terrible to us at least. We have mostly all agreed on this. And what people have said, that it's not our culture, that is true. All we can do now is just wait. Hopefully the thread gets locked... it's tiring. Well it's probably my fault since I read it so it's more then likely just me.

An attempt at my first Fire Emblem story. It's not linear, more of... well the events happen out of order and you can piece them together if you wish. Based on a run through FE:if, with no resets, and contains very little spoilers. It's just the dramatization of certain moments, nothing more. Below are my first deaths in the game. They can also be based off of random things, like buying weapons or equipping them. EDIT: I've decided to also do supports, but my version of them. When I feel like it. I stood there, every breath taken away from my body. I don’t know what I did first; did I scream or did I run? The next seconds passed by so slowly… approaching her body and holding it in my arms. My first thoughts were “No. No.” Just two words and that was all. I felt the tears stream down my face and I, without another thought, tried to wake her up. “Hey, hey. Wake up. Wake up. We’re in a battle, don’t sleep.” Then someone stepped in front of us, and I was dragged back to this awful reality, full of ugly and revolting people. My best friend was fending off the killer, shouting at me during the same time. “Get up!” He said, repeating it over and over until his blood was all but gone. “No… no…” I said, the first words out of my mouth. I looked up at the killer, my own brother whom I loved dearly. I gave him a deranged smile, and shocked so badly by the events, reached out towards him. “It’s a dream, right big brother?” I asked, but I couldn’t hear his response, for I had gone deaf to the world. In that moment he stopped to respond. In that moment, a bluish hue went through him. And in that moment, my savior held me close. “It’s alright…” He whispered into my ear, holding me tightly as my hearing came back. That’s when I realized that I was screaming. I looked back down at the corpse of my beloved. My eyes burn, no more tears to shed. My body is sore and I am tired. And yet… And yet… I could have saved her. I could have loved her more… I slowly slip my finger underneath her black headband and wrap it around my wrist. My resolve has been renewed. For her, I will destroy them. For her, I will lose my humanity. For her… I will do anything.

I basically had that reaction. I'd argue that while she is older then Kamui, I wouldn't say she's that old like 15 years older. More like.... 5 or 6 years older?

You mean the right way. Yeah it got messed up. But good news, it works! I tested it out on leh PC and a Mac, and so far so good. It works on both.

This. This so much. It applies to basically everything. I mean look at Awakening, a good example of this. It saved the series but people complained about characters and how linear the story was. Yet it still saved the series because so many other people liked/loved it. You got another one for me?

Money has gone to this game and it's been spent. Let that answer it. Yes I did. XD Trying not to spoil it. Sorry if I'm being "dark and mysterious" again. Don't worry, I'm just biased towards Hoshido because my favorite characters are there, or most of them anyways. Third Path is fun. :3

I myself am a long time fan, yet I found some points that the reviewers points of the game I liked. Hell, I enjoyed Amie so I don't think being a long-time fan necessarily means their point is more valid then ones who isn't. But yeah, some of these points are valid and do have merit to them that I agree with. I think that some of it could just be that the game changes some things and people don't like change, understandably. This is all just my opinion, do with it what you will. I liked the game. They didn't seem as fond.

Well maybe I was being a bit harsh. It really does come down to personal opinion so I'd just wait until the English release to make a final statement. Plus I'm biased towards Hoshido cause it's my favorite out of the routes, so take my words with a grain of salt for now.

Like the others have said, Amazon reviewers are.... harsh. They're not always wrong but if they find something wrong, they will get angry and berate the game however the can. There are some other threads that have people asking similar questions, check those out if you can.

I'll answer a select few since I would explode at answering them all. Gameplay has improved, at least to me. The maps can get pretty big and the transition to battle is obviously better. The music is amazing, I love it, especially during Chapter 0(won't spoil it but the music is great.) It can get grinding heavy depending on what kind of a run you want and stuff. The game focuses on the story and the gameplay equally, at least to me it does, so it's fun to play. Nohr's story is mediocre to me, but don't take my word for it. They can still change some gritting parts during the localization to make them slightly better. It's not as good as Awakening's but even then, Awakening's wasn't that good either. Hoshido to me was a lot more fun then Nohr for multiple reasons. The characters are fun, the story is great, and I love samurai and ninjas. Characters are pretty fun, some better then Awakening characters. I love Hinata cause he's funny, especially in his support with FeMui! cause of stuff. The Third Path? It's fine. Yeah, IS was like "Fuck it" and sent it a bit to the third path and while that may be gritting to some players since they wanted their own favorited paths to be more then what it is, I have no problem with it. Supports between certain characters that you couldn't get otherwise is fun and nice. Kamui? I like Kamui. Kamui is fun and I would say better then Robin. His customization is much better and his character isn't annoying. At least, not to me. That's about it. If I had to rate this game... eh.... just the smallest bit below 9/10. Nohr was a letdown and there are some other stuff that I don't like -cough-Awakening inserts-cough-

I think it really lies in personal opinion. A lot of people like Camilla, as a character and in her design. I don't mind her character, she can be sweet, but her design is something I don't care for while for someone like Kamui, whose personality is liked that much, I enjoy it. Call me weird but that's how I interpret it. Also the designs for Hoshido are some of my favorites. Hinoka, Rinka, Sakura, Takumi, Hinata, etc.

Doesn't sound too hard. Just equip everyone with horrible or no weapons and skip every turn. It should happen eventually. It's not so much hard as it is time-consuming, I think. Now the real challenge is letting them die without having the reset instincts kick in. That's happened to me before when I tried out casual mode in Awakening and it was awful. I kept resetting the whole time when it would've been fine, sometimes on the verge of victory.

Oh don't worry. The tsun-tsun Severa we all know and some of us love while I hate is back. And it's annoying. I mean seriously, Owain has matured along with Inigo and their characters sorta changed... But Severa.... oh Severa. Nothing changed her, along with Matoi(Cordelia). Mother and daughter die together. Kukuku....
