First post (2015) Portraits from this winter season (2020). Is serenes forest dead? I'm not too sure, but I felt compelled to return and look at where I began. Honestly I got pretty emotional going through this thread (I even shed a tear lmao). I've come a long way, and I have been through a lot. At the beginning of this thread I was 13, and was in my final year of middle school. Now I'm 18 and in my first year of university. I'm feeling a weird storm of emotions right now. I'm really happy with how much I've improved and excited for how much better I'm going to become in the next 5 years. I'm also a little disappointed in myself in not doing enough practice during those 5 years, and disappointed by the fact that I still haven't (in my opinion) surpassed the spriters of old. Feeling a lot of regret too, for failing to complete tasks or requests, or picking things up that I never bothered to finish and never bothered to resolve. Anyways, thanks to every single person who took the time to critique my art and help me improve. Joining the FE spriting community was, and still is the best thing to have ever happened to my development as an artist. I think the nose on Kagero makes her look like a dude lol. Everything else is gorgeous though.

Will Asuna be in this game? She's my favourite girl, and I'd really like to see her in this game.

From what i got from the title, i was suspecting a sort of three day mechanic in fe, and from what you said in the opening, I'm a bit confused on what you mean by psychological aspects.

It's kinda hard to critique nickt splices without critiquing the original mugs of NickT. And unless you make something completely different with those mugs, It doesn't really show off anything. As for the other two, I like the pegasus. I like the pink used in the hair, but the spliced pony tails don't really blend in with the nills hair. And the robe dude also looks pretty cool.

His hand blends in too much with the shaft of the sword. IT makes it look like he just has a messed up sword hand.

@At the merc animation That critical flip makes no sense. He's spinning in mid air.

Christmas is coming soon, and I've been hit with Halloween fever.... wait Here, have some christmas related portraits. A poopy christmas self insert. And a christmas pegasus.

You also need more contrast between the shades. Specifically the greens and browns.

I like your color palettes. They're very nice and colorful.

I haven't really said anything on your recent posts, but that's cuz there isn't much to say other than... good job lol.

The new one's body is not as good as the older one. I recommend you just put the new head on the old body.
