  1. For daily reveals, we typically have people around in the FE Cipher Discord server to provide translations immediately after they're posted, thus letting our wiki editors get that out soon after. Just check the pages for Eirika or Ephraim to see what their SR cards do, which we've had up since earlier today. Cards that debut in bulk through livestreams or set release generally take some time longer to get put up, but their translations can still be found on the Discord for quick reference until they're eventually on the wiki (like these which aren't yet), which I believe we normally wait on for quality assurance.
  2. I know you've already seen the signed Harrier Faye, but I'd like to add that the card design for overclasses is actually recycled from the cards used for characters in master classes (aka third tier classes) that have been around since Series 5, see Micaiah SR or the newer Gray SR+ for comparison. I think for all intents and purposes overclasses won't be as overpowered in FE Cipher as they are in FE Echoes because the TCG seems to want to group them together with third tier classes for the sake of game balance. I personally find it nice to see how they've accommodated the card game to include overclasses without treating them as broken fourth tier classes.
  3. How exactly are you determining Faye in different classes as important characters and not anyone else
  4. Looking at any other set should tell you what to expect. We're sure get a few dozen playable characters and the majority of them will each have multiple different cards in accordance with the TCG, with the rest to appear in any future sets as they revisit. Cards like the Bael should be considered outliers and are unlikely to make up a sizable portion of the cards because they don't have that much appeal to fans compared to the playable characters and shouldn't be competing with them for limited space, especially in a debut set.
  5. I could see Kiran potentially making a cameo appearance in someone else's card like Rinea, Yune, or Feh, but I don't believe there's much if any chance they could get their own card.
  6. Yeah, I'm rather inclined to believe they're from Zenith than anywhere else for multiple reasons. One is that it's always been a trait for the original characters to hail from the realm in which their debut starting cards designate. Another is that we already know that they have a pre-established relationship with each other (Valjean refers to Alice as their liege in the column update), which I think would be much more realistic if they came from the same realm as opposed to different ones.
  7. Alice and Valjean are two new original characters for FE Cipher who were just revealed only hours ago from today's livestream. Their appearances were previously teased in a column update on the official website earlier this month, and we can expect them to continue showing up there along with the other Cipher Companions. They'll both be getting cards this upcoming set, which is why they're there on that wiki page.
  8. All the new cards can be found on the Twitter link as already mentioned, so there's no need to ask to see any of them if you're curious to see more. Can personally verify that all of the ones which appeared on the livestream are accounted for.
  9. For the record, the knight's name is believed to supposed to be Valjean, not Barjan.
  10. It's impossible to know at this point if they're actually new characters or not, but I believe it's very likely that they are. The context of their appearance is that they're behind the scenes, away from the other four, and appear to be scheming some kind of plot involving the next livestream because they ask and humor themselves about when it will air. From this brief discourse and the way they're being introduced, I believe it could be possible that they are to serve as antagonists to contrast the other characters, though this is just my interpretation. In any case, we likely won't learn anymore until the livestream on the 19th at the earliest, if not later whenever the next column update is to be published.
  11. The effect description on the simulators is correct. The total number of allies and enemies has to be five or more for the skill to be active, not exactly five. I'll correct the wiki to match this, thanks for bringing it up.
  12. No. As far as I'm concerned, you are only asserting your own personal projections that the connection is beyond superficial. The games do not make any effort to hint that the items share anything in common but an archetype, therefore it is unnecessary to treat them more than that. They are simply divine items used by the heroes to seal away dragons in their respective realms and their similarities end precisely there. This does not mean that they must be named the same like in the original Japanese, and if anything distinguishing them with different but similar names makes them stand out from each other better than to call both Binding. So why not call one Binding and the other Sealing? Forcing the same naming convention does not provide any benefit but to instill unnecessary ambiguity in understanding what they are, and the concern of worrying that the superficial connection would become muted entirely from naming them differently is insignificant because ultimately Sealing means the same as Binding regardless. It's still being communicated that they're related even with different names. An informed fan would of course be aware of how they're related without issue, but that does not mean there doesn't exist an implicit and counterproductive message suggested by giving them identical names. You say that there's no confusion from having a Binding Blade and a Binding Shield, but you certainly cannot say that calling it the Sealing Shield wouldn't leave less room for confusion, which makes it the better name. - On Champion's Proof: Not only do I disagree with it being renamed the Conqueror's Insignia, but I don't think it should have even been given the original name in the first place. As mentioned in the previous post above, in Shadow Dragon, when Nyna presents the shield to Marth, she actually calls it the champion's proof in the Japanese version, but in the English localization, her dialogue is changed to have her just refer to it as the Fire Emblem, the crest that is bestowed upon a true champion by House Archanea. It does not make any sense to treat it as the proper noun of Champion's Proof in New Mystery of the Emblem, because in Shadow Dragon, Marth was not given another name to call it by. Marth has zero reason to ever call it Champion's Proof in English. Marth canonically understands the Fire Emblem to be a champion's crest because that's what Nyna literally told him it was. So if Marth has to refer to it the way Nyna did to him like in New Mystery Chapter 2, it would be most appropriate for him to call it the champion's crest. In addition, it is unlikely that an official localization of New Mystery of the Emblem would ever retain the word proof for any name, as history has shown us they always drop proof in favor of a different word like seal or crest. Proof has always been avoided wherever possible in Fire Emblem localizations, so a fan translation emulating official naming conventions should be calling it a crest instead, just as Nyna simply called it a crest when she gave it to Marth in Shadow Dragon.
  13. Thanks. In that case, it's interesting that there appears to be some sort of conflict of information. Superkyon seems to make it pretty clear that they actually saw the conversation between Kliff and Tobin. They've yet to clarify whether it was fully voiced or not though.
  14. I don't recall Daan saying that anywhere. Superkyon's answers in the Reddit AMA suggest otherwise because they actually said that the dialogue of Kliff and Tobin's C support was short and didn't give any info about their personalities, so they had to have seen it in order to make that comment.
  15. PAX East footage already shows that support points build up by battling within three spaces.
  16. Daan says the auto-end setting is disabled by default, but can be turned on.
  17. Ah, okay. I did overlook that. I think you made a good call in any case.
  18. That looks great! I'm happy to see you implement it. WpnLvl is an interesting take, I think I like that in particular too. I think that conveys the stat more clearly than my suggestion of Wlv.
  19. Yeah, no Ishtar unfortunately. If she's not going to have a promo for this set, then maybe she could have a chance of appearing in Series 10.
  20. In Genealogy they do, although swords and lances are their primary weapons. Shade however just uses lances to fight.
  21. Yeah it does seem kind of silly to remove auto-end entirely when it's been a good quality of life feature that should always be there. Hopefully it not being present is just a default and can be turned on if desired, that would make sense to me since the original Gaiden, as with other older Fire Emblem games, didn't have auto-end, and the default would be appropriate for Echoes's retro aesthetic.
  22. It wasn't known, but this post made me reach out to John Ricciardi of 8-4 today on Twitter to ask if they were involved, and he confirmed to me that they were. So unlike Fates which was only handled by Nintendo Treehouse, it appears that 8-4 will be handling the English localization and will probably be supervised by Nintendo Treehouse still, like with Shadow Dragon and Awakening previously.
  23. All of the sources that have translated the info from Famitsu seem to specify that Normal and Hard are available upon starting the game, which, to me, suggests that Lunatic could potentially be unlockable (perhaps by beating the game), but it's not impossible that maybe it could be available through other means. That is of course assuming it exists at all. I do also wonder if they'll retain Gaiden's Easy mode somehow.
