  1. Definitely Street Fighter V, Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator, and BlazBlue Central Fiction. I'm so hyped for Street Fighter V that it's insane. Just a month and a half left to go!
  2. Thanks for the help. I have another question (I'll be asking plenty in this thread, sorry - first runthrough that I'm taking seriously) What should I do for Lon'qu!Severa? Right now Lon'qu has avoid +10/Grant Avo +10, Astra, Vantage, Swordfaire, and lethality. I kinda threw him into assassin as a final class, so I don't really want to go out of my way for another skill unless it's necessary. But out of those five, which should I pass down to Severa? On top of that, how should I run Severa? I've heard a lot about her being a good assassin, but I've also heard she's a good hero as well. I have 2 assassins, though (Gaius and Lon'qu), so I'm not sure if another one is the best option. Thoughts? x_x
  3. Is it better just to by the Rogues 3 map for limit breaker, or is it worth buying the 3-pack? Also, as a side question, what DLCs are worth buying? So far I have the Golden Gaffe pack.
  4. Few questions: 1. Who should Olivia be paired with since I threw Chrom and Sumia together? 2. What skills should Gaius!Noire* have if I plan on keeping her as a sniper? I've already taken her through dark flier to get galeforce, and she has counter from Gaius (though I know counter is a widely debatable skill on snipers). 3. What path should I take Henry!Brady through? I'm completely, 100% lost on what to do with him and he's still a level 10 priest. I passed down vengeance and galeforce, for the record. 4. What should Lucina/MU pass down to FeMorgan? I've heard a lot about Rightful King vs Aether on this subject (I've even heard she doesn't have a choice), and I have no idea what MU should even do. *Thanks for the correction, Cat1803
  5. About Gaius!Noire - I want to keep Noire as a sniper. I plan on passing counter from Gaius so that Noire doesn't fail at close combat, but I don't know what to pass from Tharja. I've heard Luna and Anathema are good, but I've also heard a lot of folks argue that bowfaire and lifetaker are better. Right now Tharja is sitting at level 16 dark mage, by the way; and as a side note: I don't mind grinding. Thoughts?
  6. Oh, thanks! I've posted there before, but I was under the impression it was only for pairings that were being discussed and not the skills they can potentially pass to their progeny.
  7. Couldn't find a major thread for this; and though I've seen a few threads regarding Gaius and Tharja, they don't seem specifically tailored for what I'm trying to do. I want to keep Noire as a sniper. I plan to pass counter to her through Gaius so she doesn't die immediately in close combat, but I don't really know what to pass down from Tharja (who, right now, is a level 15 dark mage or whatever). Also, I don't really have an issue with grinding. Just throwing that out there since it seems a lot of these types of threads are made solely to avoid grinding. :p
  8. I've only played Awakening. I plan to go back and replay some of the earlier titles, but don't really know if I should just start with the first one or with another game somewhere down the line. What are your thoughts?
  9. Wow. Everyone's getting these legendary shinies and I'm just sitting here with a box full of, as eclipse put it, IV-rejects. Not so bad, I guess. Saves me from doing the work since I usually stop at 5 anyway!
  10. Finished Hunter x Hunter a couple of days ago. I didn't think there'd ever be an anime that would replace my fanboyish love for the first one I ever watched, but I'm pretty sure I have to call HxH my favorite show of all time now. Currently watching Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun.
  11. Demo all day err'day. It's really the only class I feel almost 100% comfortable with, probably because it was the first one I ever played/mained. I do second spy, though. I should attempt to try it out one of these days! Thanks! And actually, there are a lot of teams like ours that sign up with the intent of playing competitively but never follow through. It's not too uncommon in the iron league, lol. As long as it shows that people are interested in comp TF2, I see no issue with it, especially since TF2 needs all the help it can get at the moment. You should also check out Rune Factory! I recommend starting with 3, because each Rune Factory gets better and better with its next installment. If you start at 4, you may not like 3, 2, or 1. It's so great once you get into it, though. My only problem with it is that the farming isn't as emphasized as dungeon-crawling, so the slice-of-life portion of it may seem watered-down compared to HM. It's still good, though. I regularly took breaks from grinding and playing the story campaign just to live out a Harvest-Moon-type life, which mainly meant befriending the villagers and building my harem (did I forget to mention that you could have a harem/reverse harem in this game? 'Cause you can. And it's awesome. You just can't marry more than one person, but officially dating them all is fine).
  12. Oh man, it's always a challenge setting up teams in any community that isn't made solely for TF2, haha. I've been in two iron teams made by the same Steam gaming community and both times they fell apart. It's just not easy keeping people motivated that aren't in it to win it, I guess. Hopefully that'll change; this time I'm attempting to host my own. And that's a tough one! I have a soft spot for FoMT since it was my first Harvest Moon game, but I think the one that rests at the top is probably HM:DS (a.k.a Blackjack simulator feat. Harvest Moon), which I always end up replaying. My only issue with it is that most of the versions are glitched, some so much that it literally makes the game unplayable. Other than that, it's a blast when it works! If it counts, though, Rune Factory 4 would be my favorite. If the spin-off series does indeed count, disregard that last paragraph! :P
  13. I'm trying to get some optimal pairings for everyone. I'm not exactly looking for the best pairings, but rather ones that will balance out the other pairings. For example: I don't necessarily want a 10/10 2nd gen character if it results in taking away the only good 1st gen mate for another 1st gen character, which will result in a 6/10 2nd gen character. Instead, I'd rather have two 9/10 characters. So far I'm concentrating on who Lon'qu should go with, and I've pretty much narrowed down my answer to maribelle or cordelia; I just don't know which brady/severa's the best for the entire team. Also, I'm on chapter 17 and only have ChromxSumia, MUxLucina, and VaikexNowi right now, so any other pairings are appreciated! Also, though it's only hard-casual, I plan to take what I learn from this file into a future lunatic one.
  14. Hey, all! I'm Mad Monk. I just decided to sign up because I have a lot of questions, and because I love forums. I'm definitely not a series vet. Actually, Awakening was my first FE game ever and I still haven't completely beaten it (I'm gettin' there, though!). I'm slightly familiar with the game mechanics, however, as I've played some other games that use something similar. Right now I'm playing a hard-casual game (because who likes dead characters on your first playthrough?). I don't really have much to say about myself personally, other than listing a few personal facts. My hobbies include speed-cubing, competitive Team Fortress 2, anime, Harvest Moon, wrestling, and recently Fire Emblem! I'm looking forward to making your acquaintance!
