  1. And the stats also will not agree with you. They say Juju has only 2 fumbles (well, 1, but they haven't updated yet) in 3 years. Meanwhile, AB fumbled 5 times his first 3 years and Hines fumbled 3 times his first 3, the same two you lament his performance "not being like [them] at all". Yet we should cut our best WR on the team right now? Makes sense! In fact, you can see for yourself.
  2. Okay, sure! Forget him leading the team in yards and yards per game and outperforming all the others on the team, we need to focus on how he fumbled once last year and this time with the help of physics luckily keeping the ball in, not to mention pretend that Juju fumbled more in the past when he's only done that twice his NFL career now! Time to move on to a new WR and pretend he's the worst WR on the team despite his stats saying otherwise! Please, that's ridiculous. You're talking from anger and rage and overreacting, and claiming he's fumbled more than that despite the truth being the opposite is proof of that. Juju stays. He's the best WR the Steelers have right now, is still performing well, and cutting him over the first fumble of the season because he fumbled once last season is an overreaction.
  3. No, the THOUGHT of cutting him is ridiculous, and I do not apologize for being blunt as hell when I say that's a stupid idea. And over an unlucky fumble that was fortunate to stay in-bounds? Reminder that Juju has the most recieving yards of all WRs on the team, best average and is a class act who will admit his mistakes unlike a previous circus clown you tried to defend before he went to Oakland. Oh, he's not putting up godly numbers his first 3 seasons! What a bust! ...give me a break. And I don't care how early those calls were, they were still important.
  4. You need to calm down. Deep breaths. We got lucky on a couple Baltimore challenges ourselves that were pretty important and looked the opposite of what the final calls were. Commentators themselves said those were bad calls, too, so we're not so victimized ourselves. Honestly, it was a good game in my opinion, as painful as the loss was after the heartbreaking injury. At least Hodges looked pretty good and Rudolph was able to stay conscious. Edit: And stop bullying poor Juju for a fumble that got real lucky to stay in bounds. Cut him? Stupid idea.
  5. Game's not over until it's the end of the game. Best not to jump to conclusions and dump the team again and again whenever they commit the forbidden act of "being down 2 possessions early in the game with a lot of football to be played in said game when one game behind 1st place early in the season". At least wait until half time and see how many possession scores are between the 2 teams before changing the channel and discarding your team "pride" until the next time they get a lead in another game. I get you prioritize rooting for a winner over rooting for a team for their hometown no matter the record, but still. Also, I do think Ben's in the wrong. He should be aware of what he's wearing, even if someone else is dressing him and especially if it's a mobile watch. He has little reason to be livid.
  6. Juju and Vance are active. Also, Ben got fined $5,000 for wearing an Apple Watch last week (it can send texts, which is against the rules) and is trying to appeal with the explanation that he didn't know the watch was on because his wife dressed him due to his injured arm. Dunno what arm the watch was on, but I'm not sure I buy his explanation. At the very least, he should be aware of what he's getting dressed into, injured arm or not.
  7. check out this self-proclaimed non-steeler fan talking about the steelers like shes a steelers fan 😛 Also, two scorigamis (new unique NFL scores) this week. 40-25 for Browns vs. Ravens and 55-40 for Bucs vs Rams.
  8. Browns are wrecking the Ravens and will likely be 2-2 and leading the AFC North. Winner Monday night will be just one game back. Bills are also a TD away from tying the Pats and an extra point from grabbing the lead in the 4th. Brady has no TDs and 1 INT. Oop, Pats intercept a high, contested throw and win. Browns win too.
  9. And funny enough, we almost made the playoffs despite going 8-8. The Ravens and Dolphins both lost and got eliminated, but the Chargers grabbed the spot by beating the Chiefs in overtime. ...of course, there was no non-playoff team with a winning record in the AFC that season, so we had a lot of help in the first place to keep us alive at the last week.
  10. ...That sorta sounds like you said "since the next banner is seasonal, it's gonna be Farfetched", not gonna lie. "Hm... the next banner is a Special Heroes Banner...what if the one after that is the Farfetched Heroes?" There we go. As for the runner-up banner, it'll likely be around November as usual. The first runner-up banner was mid-November into December, and the second one was late October into November.
  11. I saw your post before you edited it and never got to see your update as I composed my post, and edited posts don't automatically update unless you refresh. And working or not, that's still pretty weird that you had the time to research Newton's foot injury but somehow remain oblivious to the team's record, including today. All it takes is a simple Google search to double check your facts before you wind up making a confident statement that easily can get disproven and make you look silly.
  12. ...are you serious right now? The Panthers beat the Cardinals 38-20, are 1-2, and their backup quarterback just outplayed the god damn starter 4x over in terms of TDs with 1 game. How have you gone two days without realizing this AND researched Cam Newton's injury? Seriously, search up the Panthers' current record.
  13. Oh no, now the Panthers are starting with Kyle Allen, a QB that... *checks notes* ...scored 4 TDs and 0 INTs in 1 game compared to Newton's 0 TDs and 1 INT in 2 games and led the Panthers to their first win with a final score of 38-20. Huh.
  14. https://mobile.twitter.com/NFL/status/1175142462853177345 Antonio Brown has been released after one game.
  15. 11th round pick in the 2018 Draft. He apparently did good on the team last year as a cornerback, but struggled this year presumably due to having to play multiple positions (adding linebacker and safety) which did not make him happy, so the Dolphins let him seek a trade.
  16. Just don't go "lol" any time someone does something you don't understand or deem incorrect. I've noticed that bad habit of yours, and whether you mean it or not, it always comes off patronizing, like you're laughing at someone else's actions. That was probably a subconscious contributor (that and it being late at the time) to my more blunt reply. Hey, his allegations and antics are interesting drama. So I'm gonna bring it up because I find it interesting. 😛 Speaking of interesting, Giants are starting Daniel Jones over Eli Manning after a 0-2 start.
  17. ...because this is the NFL thread. To talk about anything NFL. This is like questioning "why are you talking about food in a restaurant?". I can talk about non-Steelers stuff if I want, especially if it's news about very notable NFL players. Dunno why you find this something to "lol" at or even question me about.
  18. OH CRUD That was pretty sneaky. Tossing in a new unit at the end of the video past the banner screen for the 4-3 star pool?
  19. Wait, Bantu was there? I was just making a joke about Sirius. I'm lost.
  20. Went on desktop. I had similar problems on mobile, so I dunno what's up with that.
  21. We have Phina, Norne, Nagi, and some guy who doesn't look familiar at all. Do you guys recognize him? I don't.
  22. for a non-steeler fan who decided to root for the panthers ana's sure focusing on the steelers a lot in this topic in comparison Honestly, we needed to move on anyways. Ben is fragile as hell, and I wasn't sure he'd play well this year. Here's hoping Rudolph plays well for the future, playoffs or not, and despite Ben saying he'd be ready next year, I think he and the Steelers need to learn that he's done. "Five more years" is not a reality for him. (Plus, he's sorta rubbed me the wrong way as a person.) Also, AB got accused of sexual misconduct by another woman now, not to mention he's apparently getting lots of lawsuits for not paying for stuff in the past to add to that chef issue some months ago.
  23. I doubt it's that easy to pull off, especially since you'd be putting yourself at risk for being harassed by the player's fans who believe him. Evidence of the truth or not, there will be people going after you just for speaking out. Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't all the sexual assault cases that become big news in the NFL been lawsuits, which means making a fake allegation that would get disproven could cost you a lot of money? If so, then it's not easy unless you're willing to cough up a lot of money to humiliate yourself to the world. Whatever the case, the theoretical practice you're talking about hasn't exactly been popular in spite of allegations like this being a thing since a decade ago (if not earlier, can't confirm) when Roethlisberger got in hot water. Where have the allegations before the SB for other teams been then? Why has there been no news of Tom Brady being an alleged rapist caused by one person in a very big part of the gigantic sea of die-hard, toxic sports fans in spite of the Patriots' heavily negative reputation? I don't think there's anything to worry about for this possible practice being a thing. Let's talk about this when it starts actually happening for once; otherwise, it's just a slippery-slope fear (if that's even a term) .
  24. Wouldn't the loser of the case (which is civil, BTW, so no "guilty or not guilty") have to pay fees, though? There's also the question if the potential accuser has any evidence, and I'd be surprised if there wasn't at least one person each month falsely accusing someone big in the NFL of sexual assault/harassment without really suing or having any evidence, even if I'm just guessing here.
