    i can almost agree with you on xenoblade x. whilst i too have enjoyed the game overall and have a large amount of hours already invested it's not something i have any desire to go back to any time soon as i would much rather play the original xenoblade instead as whilst x has some improvements i think by and large the original does everything else better(characters, battle system, story, music,worldbuilding etc).

    i can almost completely agree on your view on this game also top down zelda games i tend to have a love hate relationship with i like thenm in concept but don't find them that interesting to play likely due to preferring the 3D style of gameplay as a result i haven't beaten that many of them (only LTTP and ALBW) and as of right now i haven't had any desire to replay those games.

    yeah SMRPG didn't have branching paths and was mostly linear but had enough side quests and extra content and some hidden areas so it didn't really matter so if this game dosen't have them it might not be a detriment to the overall experience.

    i at least have hope that it'll be better than sticker star it seems to be taking what that game tried to do but doing it right.

    i don't plan to pick this up immediately but will probably at some point. i like the game but don't revisit it much the good stuff is really good but the rest i'm not a fan of namely the pacing.

    definitely looking forward to it as the new powers look fun and i love the new amiibos aswell and love how dedede looks like his anime counterpart. the extra mode seems pretty good to. oh and please bring back water kirby.

    from what i've seen from this trailer i was really disappointed as it looks so similar to sticker star in terms of gameplay and structure. i don't even like it graphically because it seems ironically dull and not very vibrant. probably have a good soundtrack though.

    i personally use the manga pairings for gen1 because they work from story and gameplay but that's just me.

    i don't really have a problem with self insert characters with the exception of kris in FE12 because he was clearly shoehorned into the story and was overall extremely bland. but i would prefer it if the next game didn't have a self insert(especially if it's a remkae) and instead had more original characters with established personalities. as for children characters i don't mind them but in FE14 they have no plot relevance at all and are extremely poorly explained it hurts. if they returned i would like them to be plot relevant like FE4(and to a much lesser extent FE13)

    i just hope Ike retains his "prepare yourself" for crits/skill activation. can't wait to use him and marth when the game eventually comes out in Europe
