Nice, I wouldn't have noticed it's you if you didn't mention me here. Kaden is so good, those buffs are game changing. I wonder how the match would have went on an equal fortress level. Hopefully you wouldn't mind trying a mock battle some time and let me know how that goes. Maybe I should begin putting more resources into defense if it does well enough. Honestly, I have no idea what to do with my defenses so I just stuck some of shit together and sometimes I get results.

What characters were you expecting with a "Dragalia Lost x Fire Emblem Heroes"-themed collab? Regardless, I'm not sure when or why you quit, but over the last few months they've done nothing but make improvements to the game. I think the recent removal of wyrmprints from summoning was the biggest, most welcome change. If the actual gameplay wasn't your thing then yeah, it certainly isn't worth your time to bother checking it out again. Also, people complaining about being gated from certain event battles by lack of Might: You'll die and contribute next to nothing. The might gate is to stop clearly under-powered beginners from joining public lobbies (effectively holding a lobby hostage if the host doesn't want to fight with dead weight in their team), then contributing nothing towards the fight, and still reaping all the top tier rewards that even some of the middling players have trouble with earning. Although I will say it sucks that someone with lesser might still can't join a friend's lobby via code, if the host is willing to play with and carry their weaker friend. But alas, I suppose you can't treat public players any differently than those who have the luxury of playing with strong friends. God forbid we actually have to play a game to make our characters stronger these days.

The one with the most fans usually wins because they receive more votes, so in this case, it is indeed Nino who deserves to win over everyone else. This isn't opinion, this is just the fact of the matter. Now, if it was by chance that Tiki would take the final multiplier and end up winning despite Nino being the one to always instigate the multipliers after same hell, there would be a genuine argument for Nino deserving the win, had she lost. This is not one of those situations where an opinion towards the loser deserving to win matters because the one who earned the most votes did, indeed, win. Certain characters winning a voting contest despite having less voters is why I'm not a fan of the multiplier system (and the whole Voting Gauntlet event as a result), but that's a whole other discussion for a more dedicated topic on the matter.

I don't think I've ever placed so high in an army until this point. I know leading with same colour is bad but I have no better opportunity to show off my dedication.

So I began summoning with 4 x tenfolds and 24k wyrmite. My first 5-star was a Hildegarde. Already own her, though, so she became eldwater. Not that I felt too bad about that, because the eldwater buffs upon earning 4-5-star duplicates is insane. The next 5-star: Fjorm. I could have packed up and gone home then, but I think I had about 17k wyrmite remaining. I wanted to keep trying my luck and see if I could get Marth and/or Veronica, too. And wouldn't you know it, literally the next full summon had Veronica pop out. So that was nice. The very next summon session: two 5-stars! One was a sword, one an axe. I was hopeful that I'd see Marth and I can safely tuck my remaining 11k wyrmite away for a future event. Well, they turned out to be Xander and Curran. Already having both, they became eldwater. I went on, yet nothing of worth came from the remaining 12k wyrmite. Marthless, I sorted through my new summons, merged up my dragons, sold the duplicates, and picked up rewards. More wyrmite and a new 10-fold ticket was awaiting me within the goodie box, so I picked them up and went back into the gacha machine. Using the voucher brought nothing significant. But then I dipped into the fresh wyrmite. It was a sword, and a dragon... I was hopeful, but it turned out to be Naveed. Not the fire-swordy I was looking for, but hell, my first 5-star fire element character, so I'll take it. The dragon was Leviathan. He was currently sitting at 3UB and I needed this to fully unbind him, and here he was. Perfect. As if my hope of picking up Marth wasn't dashed once already, I had only 5k wyrmite left in the bank for 4 more full summons, and the last two sword 5-stars have been not-Marth. Going into the next summon, a shiny sword plopped down onto the pedestal. This time, it was Marth, and all was well within Dragalia. Along the way, I also picked up some fresh 4-star characters in Pia (green lance) , Odetta (light sword), Sinoa (fire wand), Eleonora (wind bow), and Yue (fire axe). Then I went and did my free summons on the 2 new banners in Heroes and got me a +atk -spd Lute. Today, gacha played nice with me.

I don't get why Sharena was omitted. Probably because they only wanted one Askr to represent, well, Askr. But I'm already over it because fuck yeah, Fjorm is actually in. Assuming she'll be a playable character, my new main is already decided. Sorry, Celliera.

I'm using MEmu. While it was a laggy POS during initial set-up, it now works as well as its earlier versions.

Ah of course I fucked up, my old version was MEmu 3.3.0.2, which would close Heroes before the title screen appeared. I haven't tried microG 5.1. However I did manage to download and install Heroes using microG 7.1 finally, and got it running. After a restart, it is now running well. Not as well as MEmu 3.3.0.1 does on my meh laptop, but still Heroes runs without problems.

I'm trying to use microG 7.1 and holy fuck is it extremely slow and laggy for me. Twice I had it tell me Trebuchet isn't responding in one session. It then took another minute to open the Play Store after clicking on the app icon. After about 20 seconds I get "microG Services Core isn't responding" and then "Google Play Services isn't responding" when I click to sign in. I'm only trying this new version now because FEH no longer seems to work on microG 5.1 after the 3.4.0 update. Completely broken, despite having followed the instructions to the dot.

I'm in the opposite boat. I've had my Switch since January 2018 and I'm recently experiencing drifting on my right joycon. It rights itself if I give it a quick nudge, but it's quite annoying when it happens. I'm afraid that it will only get worse over time. Also I'm not sure if this happens to anyone else, but if I continue playing BotW after the Switch has been put in sleep mode (either manually or automatically), aiming with Stasis or Magnesis has it constantly drifting upwards. A hard reset fixes the problem, but it's pretty inconvenient since I need to reset every single time it happens to enter sleep mode. This honestly sounds like a software problem as opposed to hardware, but I thought I'd throw it out there, anyway.

To me at least, "important" means a skill that will allow your units to perform at their very best, beyond what they could achieve from more commonly available skills. Most 5*-exclusive skills fall into this category. Sure you can stick Fury 3/LaD 3/Brazen AtkDef on everything, but doing the same builds on similar units gets boring, fast. People want variety. I know I do, at least. And for me, making my favourites the best they can be is important towards my enjoyment of this game. Having to play the gacha for every thing I would like, whether it's that Fury 3 I can't get because I cannot pull a Hinata (I'm not wasting 20k feathers for Fury 3 when I can be merging up my Lilina) or that Bold Fighter for my Effie, you're playing the gacha. It's not fun, nor is it engaging. Collecting and saving Orbs is just about the biggest sense of "progression" we get to experience in this game as players. Even with dedication towards to saving for a specific cause (e.g. Bold Fighter for your Effie), the outcome is never guaranteed because we need to play the goddamned gacha for it. Can't get what you'd like after saving Orbs for a month? Welp, tough shit, kid, just keep saving those Orbs and try again next time Bold Fighter is on focus! Fuck that noise, honestly. At least where Dragalia is concerned, you see a weapon you want, you see what materials are needed for it, you grind on the specific challenges that reward you those materials, you forge your weapon, and it's a great feeling when your dedication and hard work finally pays off. Your character is stronger for it, too. A feeling that can never be replicated in Heroes in its current state.

This is my main problem with FEH. Everything important requires you play the gacha. You can't play to obtain materials to forge skills and weapons. There's no weapon/skill inventory system where you can even store such things and apply them to characters in the future. So many premium skills are locked to 5* units. You can spend 250+ Orbs on trying to get them and you still won't get that Bold Fighter for your Effie. But you will probably get plenty of what you do not want, like more Vengeful Fighter fodder and more Julia merges, despite sniping blue for that Hardin. It's ridiculous that the gacha system is the only gateway to meaningful upgrades to your existing characters. It's such a shit system, sometimes I wonder why I still bother playing. It's only because I'm a Fire Emblem fan that I do. Yes, I'm salty.

Sadly, seasonal chars/dragons/prints are not put into the regular pool once those banners are done with. But if you were around when the banner was active, it would've been pretty easy to obain the 3* or 4* summons without too much of a problem since their chances are raised above other things of the same rarity. Unless you were just really unlucky, of course.

Yeah, I'm a day one player, but admittedly I'm not the most active, either. So many players are level 110 and beyond, some even 130+, it's crazy. People have been saying that Cygames usually give crossover characters as free rewards during the crossover event. Still, I'm taking no chances and holding on to my Wyrmite despite this pretty damn good Gala going on right now.

As long as your FEH account is linked to your Nintendo account, there will be no problems if you simply log into your Nintendo account when prompted when you begin playing on a new device.

Personally, I dislike how this topic - intended to be discussion for FEH characters showing up in DL - is now basically a for/against discussion on a collaboration in FEH. The two topics are loosely connected, but personally I would like to see a new topic being made for discussion of collabs within FEH, while people actually interested in the DL x FEH collab can post here and discuss just that. Edit: I guess OP asking, "Does this mean we might also see Dragalia characters appear in Heroes too? Discuss." kinda kills my point and I should've read the post again before writing this. Feel free to ignore me.

Yep, received and accepted. As for who I hope makes it into DL, I honestly hope it's Fjorm, Alfonse and Sharena. I don't think it would be a "Fire Emblem Heroes" collaboration if there wasn't at least one Heroes OC in the mix. I would blow all of my saved Wyrmite for Fjorm, despite already having a blue attacker in Celliera.
