    In Revelations I always assumed he's possessed right when you get him. How convenient is it that he appears right when you're being attacked by Vallite troops?? That's just my two cents.

    Tbh this is opposite for me. I was never once swayed into wanting to pick Hoshido. Like yes obviously Nohr is the "bad kingdom" but I've always liked them better, since the first reveal. The siblings on this side also care for you in a much more genuine way (in my opinion) Alsooo the Nohr story doesn't really bother me. I'm excited to invade Hoshido, I just really don't care about them. I have spoiled all 3 routes for myself, I still prefer Conquest over Birthright AND Revelations.

    I'm pretty stoked honestly. It's been a long wait, my heart is crying for people waiting on a European release date. I work from today until Thursday, and I pre ordered a physical copy of Conquest from Best Buy, so here's hoping it'll be there for me on release day! I'm starting to feel a little nervous about it buuut I'm hopeful that everything will go smoothly.

    Lmao somebody finally said it, it's obvious why they included this line, people need to chill. I've been hyping about Fates since before Summer 2015, and in that time there are a few names on this forum that I have come to dread seeing, usually because 90% of the time they only ever have something incredibly negative and deconstructive to say.

    After a year of hyping over this game I am STOKED to finally play it (demo soon maybe??) I've had the bgm downloaded on my phone for awhile, and I must say the music for this game is fantastic. I also have lots of excitement about all of the replay value that Fates is offering. I played Awakening over and over, and that was just a one route game! I just feel like there's going to be so much to do, and that's awesome.

    All my runs will be on Classic. I've pre ordered Conquest and I kindaaa wanna try hard mode, but I should probably play it safe and stick to Normal, especially from what I've heard about the difficulty level on that route.

    I'd really like to see them replace it while still using the live 2d models. Maybe you could just invite units to your room for a chat?? Tbh I'm not opposed to the idea of skinship at all, I actually think it's really cute. It's been said a lot but I'm very skeptical about the Kotaku article regarding the removal of skinship. It's not a professional article at all, and was written in a very personal point of few. I'm waiting for Nintendo to say something about it. Either way I'm still hyped af for this game, face petting or not.

    I get every Friday and Saturday off, and the 19th is a payday for me! Some say it might be... ... ... ... Fates. :> (Also also omg I just got the ACHHD bundle yesterday just for the regular sized N3DS so my FE Fates coverplates will fit on it!! The hype is real you guys!! Like theee weeks aaaaaaaaa)

    Perhaps because there are gay people who play FE and DON'T want to be forced to create a female MU in order to get married???????????(or the other way around) I'm stoked about Niles and so are many others, this is VERY progressive for Nintendo so shh

    I definitely agree with you about the third route. It totally trivializes the entire premise of the game IMO. The story would have been much more mature and tolerable had they just worked on the two original routes. I'm gonna play all of the versions of course, but I might be a bit salty about Revelations. I've actually been thinking that my Nohr file will probably be my main game in terms of post game stuff.

    YIKES wow I'm usually pretty understanding of name changes but damn that's rough. Bless the Conquest Route, Niles is still sexy and believable. Pray for the poor souls who were excited about romancing "Rhajat" LMAO

    Lmao have you read the story though?? I'm much more ashamed of Japan in regards to Fates. It's near unbelievable how terrible it is. At least NoA can do their best and make the game seem more mature and coherent. I understand the fear of losing things in translation, if I like the original work then yes it's something that really bothers me, however Japan REALLY effed up when they were writing this game, seriously. Even the Japanese players can be found complaining about it. Trust me, localization will be good.

    Right?? I know I'm going to LOVE Fates, but I think it would be awesome if they could pull it off. IMO the original is pretty bad, this one change is already a step in the right direction as far as I'm concerned. I'm also very curious as to how they're going to handle sibling marriages as well.
