  1. It's been a little while, but I'm back on track with another translation booster pack to catch up on the most recent cards revealed on Twitter. I'm glad they are putting up so many new/previously unreadable ones!

As other's have noted, Minerva's skills are very powerful for a deck centered around flying units. Being able to protect all of your units from archers is already great, but also gaining more attack power for each flying unit on the field should prove to be an intense double whammy.

The Miriel card has the same support as Linde earlier, and Miriel's only other skill just lets you draw one card at the expense of discarding one and not being able to attack, which doesn't really seem worth it. I'd be interested to see how that card can be put to good use.

Hey! Sorry, the post got buried by the other ones. I don't mind that at all, once I get to regularly translating the cards. Thanks to aubergine's hard work, the process has become a lot faster since now instead of the translation and typesetting, I only have to do the second. : )

EDIT: Chrom card! On my blog, I link to your twitter page and compendium, aubergine. I have just your username on the card, but if you want me to get your specific twitter address on there, let me know : )

I also changed the quote as he's saying 守ってみせる, where as you had written something about changing fate. I also emphasized the "Halidom" part of Ylisse.

    chrom-lord-b01-053hn-translatej.jpg

Hope to tackle whatever other higher resolution cards we have next! Will take a look at the list tomorrow. The above is also in JPEG format to save space, but of course I kept the higher quality PNG for anyone who wants them by request.

Thanks again for a great typesetting! I appreciate any feedback on my translation work. I agree that the quote should be changed, as this was one of the earlier translations I did, and this was before I realized that the quotes were supposed to be direct quotes from in game text found in the Japanese versions of the game. As such, I definitely think that the quote should be change much like you have there, but maybe something more akin to a direct line from his dual supports in Awakening like "I got your back.", I feel like "I'll protect you" is too dry and not as indicative of Chrom's character, plus I'm not sure that's a direct quote from in game text like the official Japanese quote is. If Chrom did say that in game, then it is definitely just as applicable.

With his title, I was wondering which translation to go with since sometimes the Awakening localization team would shorten it to just Ylisse and other times it would be Halidom of Ylisse. Both are correct, I just wonder if an official English localization of the Cipher TCG would shorten it to save space.

Since you mentioned it, putting my twitter username on there would be great! I don't want to trouble you to change it on this or the Marth one, but I guess for all future ones that would be very cool. Thank you!

  2. New Miriel card! This is actually the first Miriel card I remember seeing.

    source: https://twitter.com/FEcipher/status/605712302977875968

    Here's the translation!

    https://twitter.com/FEcipher/status/605712302977875968

"[Card Introduction] This Miriel card is one of the cards exclusive to the Awakening Starter Deck. There is also a holographic Miriel card in the starter deck as well*. As you might expect, Miriel's skills are all about management of the cards in your hand. (Illustrator: Saori Toyota) #FECipher"

*Translation note: I'm guessing he's coyly hinting at a Promoted Miriel card of some sort, we'll have to see exactly what he means by this.

I'm pretty sure that Maki Hakoda is a woman, so that second tweet should be Ms. Hakoda not Mr.

Other than that good work as always.

Thanks for the catch! I have since updated the posts.

  3. I suppose I should say this right now (as I feel someone needs to), but that Tiki should make it incredibly obvious to all that not every unpromoted unit can be made a main character. Heck, she'd be OP as a main character if you could promote the cost one Tiki into her, seeing as she'll be constantly attacked (and thus get more bonds) and she'll eventually have incredible defense to the point where it would be hard to touch her, forcing criticals.

I didn't see this before, but one thing to note here is that I am certain that the cost 1 Tiki card cannot become the other Tiki card. Tiki as a unit is non-promotable and the cost 5 card does not have a promotion cost. It's still a distinct possibility that the cost 1 Tiki card could be your main character. I should have read the famitsu scans! Well, then this definitely is an interesting development if Tiki can be leveled up into her other card and is able to be the main character.

Thanks for the translations~! May I suggest making the changelog as its own Word document, and updating that, instead of updating your sig every week?

I've been been meaning to say that I have seen this. I haven't yet had the chance to work on stuff until today, but that's a good idea. I'm hoping to make that separate changelog document the same time I update with translations of the two Minerva cards. Apologies if the sig thing was a bit annoying.

New Minerva card courtesy of the FE: Cipher Twitter:

And, I hope to get to this and the other Minerva card along with whatever new Twitter update happens tomorrow!

  4. The four previous Cipher tweets contain a decent amount of new information. The first one is just about the Cipher demoing event, but the second one on May 29th had Kawade confirm that Maki Hakoda is returning to do art for some of the series 2 cards, which is pretty exciting!

The two from May 31st are all about the two Minerva cards. As is the case with previous Card Introduction tweets, it details one of the skills on the card, so that information is there. However, they snuck in an extra detail on the Wyvern Rider Minerva card that she can come to be used as a Main Character unit, confirming for sure that you can use cost 1 units that aren't specifically Lord class cards as a main character and that you can class change your main character unit into something more than just the cost 1 starting card.

"[Card Introduction] This is the Minerva Wyvern Rider card. Since she gets additional power for each extra ally flying unit, she can flourish as the main character even in the face of the seemingly unbeatable "Clearing the Skies" archer skill. (Illustrator Mari Shimazaki) #FECipher"

It's pretty badass that they got Bayonetta's designer creating some of these cards.

Woah, until I read this post I didn't realize that Mari Shimazaki also did design work on Bayonetta. That's really cool, nice to see all sorts of talent working on Cipher cards.

No hurry at all: We all really appreciate everything you do for the community and there's definitively no time deadlines! :)

I'm slightly miffed that all flyers seems to have the exact same stats (30/30 at base, 50/30 after class change) no matter what the character is. Ah well, it's a minor nitpick!

I still strive to live up to my own deadlines when I can! Yeah, it does seem kind of odd that they wouldn't differentiate the attack value more across similar unit types, though I guess it could be a way of balancing each side Red and Blue against each other. Still, it would be nice to see some more variety in attack values in order to inspire more dynamic deck creation.

  5. The Virion card released today on the Cipher twitter is complete. Honestly, I could see this card being quite useful as an offensive unit due to how many different ways it can pump up its attack and the fact that it attacks from the relative safety of the Rear Guard (rear lines).

    Very interesting!

More questions (that might have been answered but just scanning through the previous pages I couldn't find anything about it?)

Skills with a yellow symbol are activated upon support, red ones are skills that need a catalyst (such as flipping bonds or tapping cards) and green skills are passives.

Does anyone know what blue and purple skills represent?

Also, we've seen promoted cards with "CCS" but there have also been "FS" skills. From what I can tell they're "flying skills" since i've seen them on pegasus knights. Can someone confirm?

Blue skills are always active skills. Purple skills are special characteristic skills (like Lucina's "treat this as 'Marth'" skill.

FS stands for Formation Skill, it depends on a certain arrangement of certain units. The Barst card that has a fairly low resolution picture also has a FS, but I don't know what it needs nor what it does as of yet. I don't remember what page of the thread, but it was somewhere back a bit. Doesn't hurt to go over it again though! Glad to see more interest building in Cipher

  6. I'm still in the middle of translating today's Virion card but I found something odd about it. It has a Card ID which disrupts my current theories on how to read the card's rarity. Of all of the previous cards, only starter deck cards with IDs beginning with S would have ST at the end (which I took to mean that the rarity was classified "ST" for starter deck). However, this Virion card's ID starts with B indicating it's a booster card, but ends in ST, which I thought meant it had "Starter Deck" rarity due to not being in a booster. I honestly don't know what this means in terms of classification, anybody else have any ideas?

    Two questions;

    1) Do you have to tap bonds to attack with a unit? Can you only attack with one character per turn?

    2) As far as which card you choose to be your main character, what are the limits? I'm guessing you can't choose promoted characters, but is there a bond limit to which character acts as your main? Some pre-promoted characters seem like they could be a bit overpowered but maybe I haven't thought that through well enough.

As far as I understand, here's some information to help answer your questions.

    1) By the term tapping I presume you are referring to the action of turning the card to the side? Bonds are not 'tapped', but rather flipped. Units in the Battlefield are what you tap. Tapping a unit in Cipher means that a unit has taken an action. Individual skills will tell you what they need in terms of the amount of Bonds to flip and whether or not you need to tap your unit. An attack is treated as an action and will need you to tap your unit. This means that if you previously used a skill that required your unit to be tapped, that unit cannot attack.

In terms of the amount of units that can attack in one turn, I believe you can attack with any amount of units that are not tapped. This includes units both in the vanguard (front lines) and rear guard (rear lines) provided their range allows them to attack, i.e. an archer in the rear guard can attack alongside range 1 units in the vanguard.

    2) We still are not quite sure what determines which cards are eligible to be your Main Character unit. These are my thoughts on it: I am pretty sure that you cannot initially use promoted units for this role, but the unit that you choose as your Main Character can later be class changed into a promoted unit if you pay the promotion cost and have a promoted unit card for the Main Character you chose. I don't know if you are limited to choosing placement cost 1 cards or not. This topic will definitely remain open to interpretation until more official information is given.

  7. Thanks again catching this earlier, Rekt no Ken. I tried staying up a bit later last night to see if they would post, but the updates came much later than the previous ones my time over on the East coast, hahah. Today's updates talk about the "Aristocratic Archer" Virion card and some extra details on the Fire Emblem trial events going on in Japan.

    https://twitter.com/FEcipher/status/603830212707655681

"[Kawade] The very first Fire Emblem Cipher trial event starts at 5pm on June 12th at Games Maya stores. Come by one of their stores and give Cipher a try! I also plan to come out that day and answer questions (at one of the locations) #FECipher"

    https://twitter.com/FEcipher/status/603802078838939648

"[Card Introduction] This is the Aristocratic Archer Virion card. Just like in the game, bows in the card game can give units a tremendous advantage over flying units in battle. For this card, the relevant skill increases the unit's attack two fold! (Illustrator: Sencha) #FECipher"

Also, I love how in each series you can build a Pegasus deck that is functionally different than the main strategy the series does. Shadow Dragon has Caeda searching out the parts for your Triangle Attacks whereas Awakening has you employ "hit and run" tactics building up to Cordelia's Galeforce and Javelin assault (a field full of range 1-2 units is no joke in this game).

Just as a note, Tiki's "bond recycling" skill reads that it can be used only "on your own turn", thus when Tiki is the one attacking...not when she is being attacked.

  9. That's one nice-looking Cordelia card!

Thank you for the translations as always. I think part of Navarre's skill description got cut off (Solo swordsman).

If it's just 114 different cards, then there's definitively a lot of characters without cards, especially when characters like Marth have at least 4 by themselves. I did expect some FE1/Shadow Dragon characters not to getting one, but...

I think there's going to be more cards than that. On the Awakening side, we've already seen some of the characters I would consider the least likely to get a card in the first batch (Like Kellam and some of the children), so I don't think any of more popular characters will be withheld.

Whoops, thank you for the catch! I goofed when copy pasting somewhere it looks like. Both my previous post and the compendium have been updated.

Yeah, it definitely is a bit odd how many variant cards many characters are getting if there is such a small 100 card ceiling on the first set. It would definitely seem odd for them not to make at least two cards, one for the unpromoted and promoted classes of each unit, for each of the characters in Marth and Chrom's respective armies. One thing I'll say though, is that we have yet to see barely any of the Starter Deck cards, so maybe the characters that have yet to make an appearance are reserved for the starter decks?

  10. Adding on to the translations of the scan pages, the three new cards that appeared in these scans have been translated in the Fire Emblem Cipher thread. I know it's not specifically Fire Emblem If information, but just in case anyone is interested and to add on to the already fantastic full translations of the rest of the scans, here are the cards:

I was able to almost completely translate all 4 new cards that were revealed today, the Tiki card is missing one Skill name and the Hero Severa card is missing pretty much all of the flavor text, but does have all the technical text finished.

As always, the new cards have been added to the more expansive lists as well.

I'm not sure if this was brought up or not, but in regards to the subject of how many cards will be in this series, it looks like 100 + 14 others? It is mentioned at the bottom of this page. If this is true, then it is very likely that there will have to be other series with Shadow Dragon and Awakening cards, since not every unit would be covered in this series due to each one having multiple cards. I have yet to see a Shadow Dragon card with a number higher than 49 and an Awakening one lower than 53, not counting the Starter Deck exclusive cards. I assume by this that the series cut-off is 50.

But, who knows for certain? I guess we'll know for sure once the game is actually out or if this is clarified before then.

This is something I've been trying to figure out as well. So far Card IDs suggest precisely what you were talking about: the 100 booster cards are divided down the middle at 50 each for both Shadow Dragon and Awakening cards. I do wonder if they will update the site closer to release day adding that there will be more though. It will be interesting to see, because yeah if there are only 100, there really won't be much diversity in cards in order to make different decks.

  12. The FE Cipher Twitter just updated with a look at a Cordelia card.

    cUdaFHF.jpg

    "【カード紹介】天才騎士ティアモです。1ターンで2回攻撃が可能になる「疾風迅雷」を使いこなせば、戦局を有利に進められます。戦闘力がやや低いので、仲間との連携がカギとなります。(Illust:YangYang) #FEcipher "

    source: https://twitter.com/FEcipher/status/603395505922547712

I wasn't sure if I should post this in here or the general TCG thread so I posted them in the both. Apologies.

This was absolutely amazing to wake up to, thanks for the early catch! I was hoping we would be getting some never before seen cards mixed into the card introductions. I'll be working on getting the whole card translated today, but in the meantime this tweet sums up what her first skills does. Going along with her Dark Flier classing as Hardin noticed, the first skill is literally Galewind both in name and in function.

    https://twitter.com/FEcipher/status/603395505922547712

"[Card Introduction] This is the "Vastly Talented Cordelia" card. One of her abilities allows her to attack twice in the same turn, which can vastly change the tide of battle. Since her attack power is a bit low, the key to using this card is to coordinate her attacks with your ally units. (Illustrator: YangYang) #FECipher"

  13. The twitter updated again earlier today in Japan with a card introduction for a Lucina card. Unfortunately for us it isn't a new card, so much of this is information we've already known. Still, it's good to see regular updates on the official Twitter!

    https://twitter.com/FEcipher/status/603047850251923456
"[Card Introduction] You might remember during the course of Awakening Chrom and his band of soldiers came across a masked swordsman only going by "Marth". This card intends to capture that point in the game, as you can treat it not only as a Lucina card, but also a Marth card. It might be a bit strange at first, but try to use it in interesting ways as you play. (Illustrator Yusuke Kozaki) #FECipher"

  14. Oh wow, thanks for pointing out the existence of that companion guide! Do you mind if I use these translations to typeset onto cards? Just need to get good resolution pictures of the cards themselves now...

I don't mind at all, in fact I was hoping that card mock ups could be created eventually since we still don't know if Cipher will ever make it out of Japan. That Marth you did is quite well done, thanks for the hard work on making English card images! If you do end up using my translations on English card image mock ups my only request is that you put my username alongside yours in the watermark at the bottom.

On the card resolution, that's quite the conundrum at the moment. I did my best to find the best images possible for each card to put in the companion guide, but so many of them are very low resolution phone quality pictures. I'm always on the hunt for better pictures, and I'll let you know if I find any new ones!

  15. I have another "booster pack" translation update and some interesting notes about the prediction of cards that have not been shown in any capacity.

While filling out the companion catalog I found certain patterns that suggest the existence of certain cards and what their card ID will be.

    Capture.png

For example the Catria, Est, Palla Falcoknight cards are not 1 number apart in their Card IDs, but 2. This suggests that each of their unpromoted cards would be the cards in between, B01-037, 39, and 41 respectively. However, I'm a bit hesitant to completely assume that this is the case due to a counterexample existing already. Further down the list, the Maribelle and Gaius IDs place them right next to each other, which would suggest that if there are other cards to go along with their promotions, they aren't numerically in line. It might also mean that they won't have booster card versions of their other class. Or, as a 3rd alternative, this could be due to the card images being representative of different prototype runs of the entire set, and that the numbering system that governs the above 3 cards does not govern the below 2 cards.

    Capture_1.png

All that being said, the test pool is quite low in terms of card IDs, so hopefully we can know more once we get some better images of cards.

As for the new translations, unfortunately these are the last four with complete text from images available. I want to keep working on the others as much as possible and hopefully new images will surface but for now these are all the ones that can have complete translations as far as I know. Further cards will be much more peacemeal until better images surface...which might not be until Cipher comes out.

  16. The latest tweet seems to suggest that Nintendo and IS will be holding events at Japanese retailers to show people how to play Cipher in June.

Yep, this is the gist of it! I wasn't able to get to it until now, but I've now updated the OP with a complete translation, and it's here in this post as well.

    https://twitter.com/FEcipher/status/602724079729123329

"Starting June 12th we will be holding Fire Emblem Cipher trial events at participating card shops and retailers across the country. Please come and take part as we share details and go over how to play the Cipher TCG, participation is free! Look forward to more specific details at a later date on the Cipher homepage."

  17. If you're going to call it "Front Lines", why not call the other position "Rear Lines"?

It sounds awkward, but so does "Front Lines" and "Rear Guard". . .and rear guards ARE a thing in Vanguard. . . :P:

Any deck that's counter-blast heavy and lacks consistent damage unflipping would be fine with it. Eradicators would appreciate it! But that's because I kinda suck at drawing Saikei when I need him (and because clipsey needs to stop spamming Tempest Bolt, even if my opponent is Aqua Force and deserves it).

It wouldn't surprise me if the upper limit is "one".

Hmm, that disparity between terms is also a good point. Honestly, if I had to choose between "Front Lines/Rear Lines" and "Vanguard/Rear Guard" I'd pick Vanguard/Rear Guard due to the fact that those as a pair sound better than Front Lines/Rear Lines and the fact that those terms fit much better with the Medieval motif that Fire Emblem has. I really don't know anything about the other card game called Vanguard, but honestly would it cause that much confusion to just go with Vanguard/Rear Guard then?

  18. Thank you for the kind words everyone. I appreciate it. Here is the second page! See in spoiler tags below, or on blog here.

(Put Page 1 here too for convenience)

    tcg1j2.jpg

    tcg2j.jpg

It sounds fun! I hope to import starter decks and find someone to play with. I hope to get high res cards by scanning and translating them eventually, too, so more people who don't speak Japanese can play too! : )

Thanks a bunch Kirokan for translating these scans, this is a big help! It helps confirm a lot of details that we have been discussing in the Rules/Translation discussion thread. I had no idea there was a whole other thread on Cipher stuff, hahah.

Regarding your translation, I found "Safe Area" to be an interesting translation for the term that the Japanese info is using for what we would call a "Discard Pile". I agree that there is supposed to be a connotation of "safeness" because the term references what happens in the game when a unit is defeated in combat but is not "perma-deathed". It's definitely a difficult term to rework for a wide English audience since it also holds the connotation of "retreat" as well. I know with the Maribelle card that we've seen you can "revive" units from that area and put them back into your deck too. Anyway, just my rambling thoughts on that, I definitely think Safe Area is a pretty neat and concise way to translate that!

  19. How 'bout putting everything in a publicly-accesible Google doc, and linking it in your sig?

I'm not quite sure why that didn't occur to me before, that's a good idea. I'll get that accomplished sometime today I hope after putting some finishing touches on it.

That image is great and does help provide some much needed terminology! However, can we agree to not use the term "Vanguard" when referring to the front line? I would imagine it is accurate, translation wise, but the game already takes a lot from CFV, that I think it's just bad form to do more of it when it isn't necessary.

You know, I also wouldn't be opposed to changing it away from "Vanguard" to something more like "Front Lines" like what Dan has in the first post. It could eliminate some confusion while still retaining the idea. Honestly it might even fit better with the "Battlefield" motif that Fire Emblem has. It's definitely a good thing to think about and my translation/localization work can always stand to be improved!

EDIT: I just went back through all the other cards and that Starter Deck Lodestar Marth is the only card I used Vanguard for instead of Front Line, but I messed up and the Starter Deck Lodestar Marth ability only affects units on the Rear Guard anyway.

  20. I am wondering if people wouldn't mind me starting a separate thread focused specifically on card translation work. The main reason I'm asking is that it's becoming a bit unwieldly to continue posting the entire "Cipher Compendium" in each post as it grows. I'm currently working on editing it for Official Nintendo nomenclature as well as adding in other information that will be helpful, and then I'm also adding cards as they come in. I definitely want to keep people up to date, but posting it in each new post is a bit wonky as I copy it over from my word document on my computer, it's mostly just document styles not being compatible between the forum code and Microsoft Word. If I did start a new thread I would keep the first post updated and just post new translations on their own as time went on. Let me know if this sounds good or not, I wouldn't want to start cluttering things up on the General FE Forum.

Anyway, on to the real reason for the post: translation updates. Coming off of translating those tweets I found that the official cards that they released in the tweets are cards that I hadn't seen before and were not translated yet...so I decided to remedy that! These two cards will be from the starter decks and vary a decent bit from the previous iterations I have translated despite having the same classes. The fact that they were put on the Official Twitter leads me to believe these are probably the most official, and dare I say most finalized, cards we have seen yet.
Click past the spoiler tags to see the translated info. Keep in mind that I'm still working on localization of the attack names, quotes, and titles.

  21. (I hope a thread like this is ok to post. It's exciting to see that Cipher of all projects is getting an official Twitter to share details, and I hope more stuff than is already known get's posted. Either way it looks like we'll get more official card designs and details out of this!)

On May 22nd Ryota Kawade, the producer for Fire Emblem Cipher, has started officially sharing details and a few "behind-the-scenes" thoughts regarding the new Fire Emblem TCG "Fire Emblem Cipher".

This thread aims to share these minor details and other information provided via the Twitter account and future website updates until the TCG's release on June 25th without disrupting the rules/card translation thread that is more focused on the detailed specific information as well as wiki discussion at this point.

  22. This is gonna be a tad awkward for me, but I have some concerns about the wiki that I feel haven't been discussed yet and I also feel they should be.

For translations (since we need to agree on universal terminology here, so as to limit confusion), do we go with fan translations or Nintendo translations? After all, for them, it's "Navarre", not "Nabarl". Do we go with "Lord" or "Main Character"? "Brand" or "Shepherds"?

And what of the effects themselves? By this, I mean, a universal way to phrase them. Do we go casual and make it sound like how an actual person would phrase how it works, or do we go technical to limit ruling confusion (aka "idiot-proofing")? And even after that, there are multiple ways to go about that, as well, seeing as YGO and CFV take different approaches to that.

And then there are the affinities. One can easily go "just list every card with that affinity on its respective page", but right off the bat, male and female will have really long lists. And that isn't even going into how many sword wielders there is going to eventually be. Do we just do separate pages for each series with each affinity (despite series mixing being possible)?

Thank you for your time and all that.

Regarding the translations, I really do think this is something that should be discussed. There are many things that will definitely need to be Nintendo Official on the wiki, in my opinion, like character names (i.e. Navarre should be used instead of Nabarl). Then there are things that are less definite, but things like Brand/Shepards again I think it would be best to go Nintendo official and use Shepards. Since I think many of us hope that this will get an official translation one day, no matter how improbable that might be, we should set up a English fan translation wiki reflecting that hope and stick with Nintendo official nomenclature aka what is most likely to be used for an official localized version of the game. This is definitely something I need to address within my own translation work, as currently the naming system is all over the place.

On other things like Lord/Main Character, I think we should err on the side of caution since we don't have all the details about how Cipher functions mechanically as a TCG. I've heard that you might be able to use a character card that is not necessarily a Lord class as your Lord/Main Character, and so then "Lord" would be more confusing than helpful. As a tentative selection I would choose the term that causes less confusion and use Main Character until more official details are confirmed.

As much as possible and as much work as those contributing feel up to doing towards this end, wiki's should be as user friendly and "idiot proof" as possible. That being said, certain redundancy like the gender affinity are probably not necessary outside of making a short paragraph description outlining what said affinity actual does for gameplay.

That's just my thoughts on it!

  23. I would imagine that there will be a lot of cards to collect. Every playable character from the FE11 & FE13, plus I would be very surprised if significant bosses like Medeus and Validar were ignored.

There's also the "Original Concept" variants and the fact that most units will have at least 2 normal cards each for their unpromoted and promoted classes. I think some characters even have multiple promoted class cards for the secondary class in their tree, like Caeda who has both Wyvern Knight and Falconight cards. I think there will be lots of cards to collect in the first series alone!

The latest issue of Dengeki Nintendo has some info pertaining to the card game like "How To Play" and HQ card art. Not sure if it's already known but I figure I'd share it here. Thanks to Cysx for finding and posting in the first place. The pics are quite big so I put them under spoiler:

    RmVkoWF.jpg

    pUbHa3q.jpg

    v6MRNvS.jpg

Oh man, thanks for sharing these! This will be a major help in putting my tentative cards and my more uncertain translations to rest.
  24. I really like the concept that the anniversary sleeves were going for but I wish the background wasn't white; it doesn't look dynamic enough. That being said until they come out with sleeves of a Hector card or one of my other favorite characters I'll probably stick with those.

On another note, I remember we got word that FE14 is changing up the way the weapon triangle works. I wonder if Cipher will mirror those changes and that's why we haven't gotten a lot of official details on Cipher's rules. I could see them going either way, sticking with the old rules or mirroring all the new mechanics from FE14. We are getting decks from a range of the games. What do yall think?
