    This thread is still a thing, because regardless of how you feel on the subject, someone else was curious about the reasons why. You have no right to tell someone they can't get opinions from other people just because it's within your metaphorical earshot.

    So, people have said that the English FE is slightly bigger than the japanese, so if it has no dual audio, and no petting, what the heck is the extra data for? Do we even know it's bigger?

    I mean, we say tsunami anyway, so people would either pronounce it right or just assume the t is silent like how some people prounounce tsunami. On the ou to o changes though... Saizo looks too short to me now. It's like... just feels wrong.

    Basically I would have just google searched "FE if release date in america" every so often after I found out it's name.

    I'd say being blunt isn't really a reason to hate a character, but I'll have to wait for the game to come out before I actually see what I think. EDIT: I do think tact is a good quality, though, so if he's just downright tactless, then I can maybe see the problem.

    This is the reason I may not end up looking at any information that is not official for the next fire emblem game. So I don't know what I'm missing.

    If this ends up being like "the Voyage of the Dawn Treader" movie, where they did something the fans didn't like, and then they decide the fans don't like the series just because they were against that one thing, I will be severely angry.

    All we really know is something that serves the same support function is still there. We don't really have confirmation that either the conversation, nor the live2d models will still be there. EDIT: Owing to the fact that it's finally been confirmed that skinship isn't there, I'm taking a negative stance on everything around it, so I can be pleasantly surprised, or just have it meet my expectations.

    So, my question is, if it doesn't get replaced, and the live2D models get unused, will everybody who was cool with the removal get angry too?

    Well, I'm going to assume it's gone now. It means that if it does by some miracle end up being true, I will be presently suprised, and laugh, quite possibly to tears, from amusement.

    The fact that it doesn't matter doesn't mean that having the option isn't nice. Having options is always better to me than not having options, especially when others have it. And that's the reason it bugs me. Not getting an option other people get really irks me, because I am paying the same for less content. I don't care if it adds nothing, or if I don't use it. I care that I MIGHT have used, and if it's gone, I've lost that option.

    This. Despite not wanting to be left out of an option that another region got, it's not neccessarily something I really want in future titles, either.

    I looked it up on google and was swamped with results about how it was being removed in America. -_-

    That's what most people would assume it is. I've see people point out that there apprentely is a japanese word pronounced "Kah-den" which is why it would work inside the hoshido theme. The problem is, almost no one would think of that pronunciation, since Kay-den is actually a name.

    This seems like a reasonable assumption. If nintendo hasn't addressed this issue yet, they've probably decided to just wash their hands of it, and let their actual game do the talking, come what may. In other news, this thread has the third highest page count on the main page, beaten only by the marriage, supports, and children thread, with 98 pages, and the I just want to know one thing thread, which has 117, and I find it darn funny we're still finding words to say about this.

    That's what I was saying. The issue has been confused too much for me to not be skeptical about literally just about everything except a nintendo statement or MAYBE video evidence.
