Actually if Noire doesn't get galeforce (Gaius), give her either Vaike or Lon'Qu. Vaike makes a great armsthrift double bow build and Lon'Qu makes her a procstack (Luna, Astra) wyvern lord. And for the love of all that's good, don't give her Donnel! Gerome's best dad is Henry and it's not close at all. Also, don't give Nah Donnel either. Donnel should get Sully (Kjelle) or no one. His genes suck, hahaha.

Donnel sucks, it's true. Many say he's strong when trained but as a first gen character he doesn't come close to the destructive power of Cordelia, Sumia, Olivia or Chrom. As a father, he passes a useless stat (luck) and grants some of the worst mods in the game next to Kellam. He's only adequate as a father for Kjelle, and even then Gaius makes her way faster (better). Noire would also rather go without Galeforce (use Vaike) then have him as dad. The only reason Donnel ever had any hype was because people didn't know much about the mechanics of the game back in the old Metagame. I will say though; it is pretty cool that Donnel becomes the 'Hero' he swore he would become when talking to his mom.

Hey guys, I hope everyone is doing well and having fun with their games. I think I'm just about ready but I haven't played yet. I just completed downgrading to 9.2 and installing ReiNand as my cfw. Now am I supposed to unlink the sysnand and emunand? And/or unlink my nintendo ID? I have created the .cia file for my game, do I have to run the game from ReiNand/Emunand everytime I play the game? Hey guys, the work that's been done in this thread looks great! But... it was impossible to get my hands on a special edition. I'm stuck with the whole digital versions problem. Can we get a digital copies guide please? It would be great to enjoy this game the way so many already have.

Cool. I don't have or plan to get cubic ninja but I do want to setup my n3ds like yours. What are the steps to doing that? It's pretty hard to understand for a 3ds tech newbie.

O Thanks for the response! I understand, I'll try to setup some sort of CFW maybe NTR CFW (what shadowofchaos mentioned I think). This means I have to downgrade the n3ds xl to 9.2 first right; are there any good tutorials for that?

Hey guys, help a newbie out. I have a new 3ds xl which is at firmware 10.5.3. What is the best way to set up my 3ds to patch Fire Emblem Fates? I need to downgrade the firmware right? Also which version of the game should I get? Thanks guys! There's just so much information here and to a guy who's never customized his 3ds, it's hard to understand.
