    Favorite is bonus EXP and attacking with staves. the former is a great way of making up for charaters who start bad and end up good, the later isn't particularly useful but it's nice to have healers that don't just stand there waiting to die regardless Worst is the pair up mechanic, whereas rescue was strategically useful for getting units out of bad situations or moving units with low Mv around, pair up was strategically broken in that once you maxed it out you pretty much have nothing to worry about.

    3 is my favorite for many reasons, the main one being that it was the last time Pokemon was truly a community game for me. After that all my friends dropped out I loved the secret bases, I loved the Pokemon introduced, and it was the last map in a Pokemon game that actually felt like I was on a journey rather than the most inconvenient hallway ever. and FRLG are the definitive Pokemon games for me. 5 is everything Pokemon could do wrong in my eyes. The progression is a literal straight line, the music sounds like cats vomiting in a house fan, the encounter rates are obnoxiously through the roof, Reshiram and Zekrom are the ugliest legendaries I've seen, not one of the starters was cool, the only thing I like 5 for is the introduction of post 100 EV training and Volcarona.

    It's less the skinship and more the stupid over the top drama over it I swear it's just been one thing after another with Fates. If all Fire Emblem is gonna do from now on is get people's panties in a twist then I don't think I want any part of it.

    Seriously, has anyone even seen the kind of crap Laura Bailey has had in her scripts? They wouldn''t have gotten into this line of work if they cared about what the scripts say.

    been there too, my grandparent on my dad's side died when I was 11, so I was pretty confused with the whole thing.

    I'm... really burnt out by the Fate's drama. I'd almost bet it's going to impead my enjoyment when the time comes.

    I'm gonna be more blunt. Loss is something you will experience for the rest of your life. It sucks, it's gutwrenching, but it's going to happen. since I entered high school I've lost my cousin, my grandfather, my 6 month old niece, my cat, 2 of my dogs, 2 friends, and just yesterday I lost my father. It sucks, it hurts like hell and the grief can be consuming, the best thing you can do is what you're doing right now: not try to bear the pain alone. when you inevitably face it again don't try to shoulder it. Other than that I'm sorry for your loss, I know how much it hurts. EDIT: wow this thread was started a while ago

    I'm honestly losing interest in Fates. I almost miss when Fire Emblem was a niche title in a niche genre, talking about this series just isn't fun for me anymore.

    Snoke's origins were explained in some of the pre-release novels, I doubt we're going to get much on him int he movies.

    As long as it's not Rukia Kuchki, Slightly happy Rukia Kuchki, and not Rukia Kuchki like Awakening was it's fine.
