  1. I was being ironic. I was kinda making fun of Americans, who like to call any political figure they don't agree with a communist, even though they're far from it. And you know, Communism kinda clashes with their idea of a free market, and that's just "Unamerican", so of course it's "evil" to them. You assume everyone playing this game is all into Japanese culture, but I've often heard people call anime "Chinese". Well, I guess it's just stupid of me to think that they'll change the names of half of the cast, just to meet Asian stereotypes. They can keep their names, especially because their romanization would be clear. With non-Japanese names, it isn't always that. Just look at the 43788 variations fan translations came up with for the likes of Celice, Lachesis, etc. So on second thought, they'll probably only change a few Nohr names because they'd be outta place, because they're just random English words like "Inverse" or something.
  2. I'm a veteran fan myself, fam. Why do my fellow "elitists" take everything so seriously and immediately feel attacked? You just assume the game won't pose any tactical challenges because of the weapon durability. But you can't really say that until you've played the game, now can you? You don't have to play Casual or Phoenix, either. Start complaining about those modes when they become mandatory, which they never will.
  3. I thought Nohr was supposed to be this very evil country. Would only be fitting to have one of the characters with the name of a very evil person, Marx. But then again, I don't think Nintendo of America approves of little children being exposed to communism. "Oh, I really like this Marx character, I want to look up pictures of him on the internet! Oops, I accidentally ordered the Communist Manifesto!" I think Kamui will be changed, because they're the character the player is supposed to identify with. The western audience can't have that, obviously. To be honest, I kinda have the feeling they'll change the Hoshido people's names to something more stereotypical Asian. Maybe more Chinese than Japanese? Either that, or they'll do the Lon'qu shenanigans.
  4. Maybe it is. Maybe there's an hidden "For REAL truest FE-Elitists"-Mode.
  5. Why are people crying over an optional thing? Why are people so scared of options? I bet there's peeps out there who welcome the addition of Phoenix Mode. Makes farming those cheesy support conversations much easier. If my memory serves me right, there was something about Nohr having limited resources, I thought that amounts to weapon usage as well because this is nothing new, fellas. We had those screenshots with no numbers next to the weapons pop up before. Shouldn't surprise anyone. I just thought those might be from Hoshido? Oh well. It's not the first game to have this. FE2 had infinite weapon durability as well. Worked out anyways, they gotta have some balance fixes up their sleeves to make up for this.
  6. The only real choice here is Marx. He looks like a charming Disney prince, but with the attire of an evil and dark emperor of edgy darkness. The same kind of darkness that can be found in my digestive waste's perfered exit. And I want Marx to fill this darkness. No homo.
